The accommodation was exactly as described and was good value for the price. I had a very comfortable and pleasant stay. The communication with the hosts, Darren and Elena, was excellent. They were available to help with any queries I had and their knowledge of the local public transport was very helpful as I don't drive. I would definitely stay again if I am in that area in the future.

Easy and quick to get into York centre from location and for the purpose of the booking the room was very good and had everything that was needed.
I would definitely recommend as a overnight if needing to be in York for the night.

Location good if one is driving.
Useful parking onsite and a good pub 100 yards away.
The bed linen was old-looking and tired.
The room was cold with no heating and the duvets too thin now it’s autumn,
But the worst aspect was there was only COLD water. The hot tap did NOT work. Neither did the shower. Why? Immersion heater turned off? Blown boiler? So in a cold room there was no way to get warm. Also, no TV. Wtf? It’s surely an essential now, anywhere.
