Was told at 2pm that my room was no longer available. Not happy.

The owner called me to try to arrange alternative accommodation, and refunded my money without fuss.

The owner called me at 14:25 on the day of my stay to say that unfortunately my room wasn't available any more. Offered to get me alternative accommodation, asking if I drove etc, but I was about to walk into Elland Road Football stadium & didnt have time to work out & understand alternatives, so I told him I'd sort out alternative accom later myself. How can my room suddenly not be available? This is very poor & not the kind of hassle you need on the afternoon of arrival.

I liked my stay quite, warm and exciting.

I made my cup of coffee , wasnt sure of how Breakfast is handled, it is silent in the regulation and rules of the house. However as I was there for one night it was okay. I would advice for a pair of flipflops for bathroom use.

Maybe a sign on the Door Washroom and flipflops and a small information about bfast what can and cant do

House and location although excellent

Location and value for money. although the place was filthy found condoms , empty wraps from used condoms, various food under the bed, foil, ash even found cocaine in two separate plastic wraps. The house was lovely the location was good the kitchen and bathroom was basically cleaned but the rooms lacked TV a deep clean and under the bed haven't been cleaned for over 12 months hence the various rotten food and drug paraphernalia in the room. Excellent value for money otherwise.

The cleaner needs a course on hygiene and put it to good use. Or changing the cleaner point blank....

Amazing value for money!

All rooms have keys to lock/ unlock, bathroom (we used upstairs) was surprisingly really clean and the triple room was huge!! We got lucky and other people in the property were respectful and quiet. Nice area although a little far out from the train station

Terrible

There was a very intimidating situation with another renter. We had to leave because of this. The owner/renter did not cooperate in any alternatives for the night as we could not stay in the house. Worst stay I've had. Also, there was mold in the shower.

Size of the apartment is huge. Bathroom and kitchen right next to the room.

Very good value compared to anything else I could find. Good communication and clear instructions how to access the property. Clean. Good location for where we were going (Brudenell social club).

It was all fine, would have been nice with another lamp apart from main light in ceiling maybe. And a bin in the room but nothing major.

One night stay

Large room plenty of storage beds were comfortable enough.good sized shared kitchen and bathroom .

The blinds in the room were ill fitting and broken with missing slats .kitchen and bathroom were well equipped but wasn't willing to use kettle as desperately needed descaling and had to buy bottled coffee to heat in microwave but that was my choice as I have a thing about that sort of thing and have to be careful due to health issues could hardly see the smalm tv with it being so far from beds and sofa but for cost would be willing to stay again.

Unexpected family room upgrade.

We ended up not staying here, as the previous occupier had locked the door and taken the key with them. Peace House worked their magic and set us up in another room on the other side of Leeds. We were very grateful.

It's a bit crap.

The price was low

There was nobody there. The accomodation is just a terraced house, with no sign. The address (number 43 woodsley road I think) is not listed in the booking.com email, so finding it is pure luck. When I finally received an email, the instructions got me in through the front door, but not into my room. I was supposed to be in room 3, but the door was answered by a gentlemen in his underpants. After trying in vain to get in contact with anybody, I just grabbed a random room, dumped my bag and hoped for the best.

Spacious room with complete kitchen. Very quiet stay as no other guests

The check in was a hassle. Owner didn’t realise I have a booking. No exactly address was provided earlier. I wandered about 45 minutes under the hot sun searching for the place

Mouldy rooms,.white stains on chairs and tables, unsafe area - people knocking on my window at 12am, yellow bedsheets & stains on them too, chairs are basically about to break, walls coming off, bedsheets have a musty smell, camera in the room, door locks aren't safe, clearly damaged. I want a refund.

St Matthews Street Stay

The landlord was very nice and communicated via booking.com to inform me about the cancellation stay at Peace House.

The location and place l was moved to was very noisy, box room with no with window and had a disturbing odour. By 03:00AM, people were still making noise in the house, making it difficult to sleep.

It’s a complete peaceful house and good services.

All round the house is very clean and has everything as small as shoppings such as milk, corn flakes that I never expected and found in any other places. The staff is polite and supportive when you call or need something.

I have had everything done nice and peaceful and I love it and recommend to others.

Pathetic, safety and security are the big issue

Nobody was there, pathetic stay, insecure. Goon was banging door at night, scared, was in ground floor, was constantly banging the window and outside door for couple of hours, finally had to call the police, Police came and rescued us, Left the place in the early morning - if you're concerned about your safety and security, don't stay here

Proper tidy bedroom, comfy bed, clean shared bathroom, clean kitchen and little courtyard at back, 15 min walk into town - so good for the money paid. And nice lads that run it.

Spot on for the price

Nice ground floor room, big common kitchen, quiet and very clean overall and a decent amount of basic kitchen equipment that meant I could have cooked properly if needed. They were really great when I had to extra extend my stay due to medical stuff

The only criticism I can make is that the heating came on full blast at 3am every night in warm weather and the room carpet was at the stage it needs replacing. But, overall, very good value etc

Peaceful night at Peace House

It was very peaceful as the name suggests!

I thought there were no facilities to get a coffee, tea or even a glass of water in the room. Didn't realise the shared kitchen until checkout time. So if you do stay, make sure you grab a little tea and sugar etc as there IS a well equipped kitchen downstairs where you can make drinks, cook and everything.

The friendly manager and how cooperative he was and how he took the time out to clean our room despite him being busy. I also liked the room the room was a very decent size for 2 people also very cozy and comftble. Overall rating 7-8/10

I liked how quiet it was at night time. The people were friendly and nice. The owner was very helpful.

There was a boiler in the bedroom. The room was too hot. The room smelt abit strange and there were small hairs on the bed and on the table and draws. The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest but was okay. Decor was all over the place.

Wszystko na plus. Pokój skromny ale czysty. Byliśmy tylko jedną noc jako baza noclegowa do zwiedzania więc tak naprawdę byliśmy się w nim tylko przespać. Stosunkowo blisko do ścisłego centrum ok 20 minut pieszo. Uber ok 6£ więc jeśli ktoś nie lubi spacerować to myślę że też nie zbiednieje. Nie widziałam kuchni bo nie było czasu. Łazienka wspólna ale duża, przestronna i czyściutka. Zameldowanie bez problemu.

Jedyny minus to bardzo cienkie ściany. Trochę słychać innych lokatorów ale nie jest to bardzo uciążliwe. Poza tym to raczej wszystko na plus.

Il check-in automatico e il fatto che con le telecamere nelle zone comuni è difficile che qualcuno si metta a fare rumore in corridoio

La posizione variabile. Mi avevano comunicato pochi giorni fa il civico dell'appartamento e il giorno prima mi hanno mandato un lungo messaggio con le regole e un indirizzo diverso. Pensavo avessero sbagliato a scriverlo, visto che non avevano comunicato alcun cambio, ma quando sono arrivato all'indirizzo c'era solo una casa con auto parcheggiata e nessuna indicazione. Ho chiamato, di notte e sotto la pioggia, e ho dovuto prendere un Uber per arrivare alla nuova locazione, spendendo inutilmente 10 euro circa, essendo abbastanza distante. In Italia si dice "chi più spende, meno spende". Era meglio un'alternativa a 10 euro in più ma senza sorprese e magari in centro. Tra l'altro, il pavimento era rumoroso e il riscaldamento non è controllabile singolarmente per stanza
