Great flat for a few days in Leeds

Stay was ok but freezing and a damaged car

It is well equipped with everything you could require. The instructions for the keys were very good and easy to follow. The instructions for Wifi were clear and easy to follow. The flat was very clean and tidy. It is a very quite area no real noise.

A few things were issues 1. The flat is freezing, as another reviewer stated it did not get over 18 according to the radiator in the lounge but was much colder in the bedroom. The radiators are too small and are located behind furniture. The bedroom one switches off and will not stay on as it seems ot be on a set timer. 2. The car parking is free if you claim back payment after staying. You have to park outside on the street, this should be stated before you book. My car, along with other cars, was damaged as someone had smashed the wing mirrors, so please park with caution! 3. The flat is tiny in the main room kitchen/sitting area. 4. The flat was very clean but the sofa was very marked and the carpet in the bedroom had some holes. 5. The headboard on the bed is broken and leans forward. 6. It has a general state of being very shabby, painting, plates, cutlery, state of all the furniture is dilapidated. 7. No milk to make a hot drink.

Compact flat, did the job

Very good instructions to collect the keys. It was quiet so fine for sleeping. The bathroom was nice. The kitchen had the basics that you'd need.

I wouldn't describe it as luxurious. The parking aspect should be described correctly in the ad ie parking on the road that must be paid for during the day, and that its free 6pm to 8pm. Rather than this information only being sent once you'd booked. Would enable you to plan better.

Clean and tidy but freezing cold and very disappointing.

Generally it was clean and tidy. There is a fridge, hair dryer, ironing board etc internet was ok, but 5G much faster so I used that.

It was freezing cold. Despite being a tiny apartment (and its tiny - far too small for all the furniture really), The heaters don’t work effectively to warm the rooms and the temperature never got above 18c according to the internal thermostat. The shower is also not working properly. Either it’s ice cold or burning hot. Try as I might I couldn’t get it to work. I messaged the host on all the days to advise of the issues but didn’t get any help. Fortunately booking com reviewed the chat log and gave me a partial refund. Parking outside was difficult - it’s street parking and you have to pay for it - but later refunded by host. I mention this because “free parking” implies there’s parking for the property but this isn’t the case.

Traumatic

Nothing it was dirty, full of grime and dirt. Chipped skirtingboards, windowsills had a jagged big whole with spiders crawling out. Poo splatters at the back of the toilet. I felt claustrophobic in the bathroom it was that small. It smelt fusty, they tried to mask the smell with plug ins.

The apartment was very well equipped even down to including items such as hair straighteners and a hairdryer. There was plenty of cutlery, plates, cups etc included for our use. Good wifi connection. Television in the living room very good picture quality and appreciated that it was a smart tv. The apartment smelled nice.

The location was not easy to navigate into the city centre without using ubers or taxis. The tv in the bedroom didn’t work even after following the instructions provided by the host. Extra pillows would have been appreciated. Shower a little temperamental.
