Disappointing

Perfect location Spacious Well equipped

Attitude of woman who after one hour of being outside with the wrong code !! Finally answered calls with rudeness and no apology. Third requested bed not made up On arrival no heating on and an incredibly stinky fridge when we plugged it in

Lovely location for central Leeds and the first direct arena. Really spacious and homely apartment with some nice featur

Lovely spacious apartment and the bath in the bedroom was a great feature!

Could use more towels especially a bath mat and separate hand towel. Couldn’t get the heated towel rail in the bathroom to work and the kitchen bin was a bit grimy on the lid.

Beautiful building but needs attention.

Great location, beautiful historic building, was intially fitted out to a high standard. Agent was very helpful when we called re various issues as below.

We have stayed before in a different apartment. The room and building this time looked tired. Fixture and fittings broken in our apartment, pictures on the walls, table and chairs missing from the bedroom, broken chairs at the main dining table. Cleaning was minimal, fluff and all sorts flew out from under the sofa when we opened the windows, cobwebs, damp patches, cracked plaster. No washing up sponge or bowl in the kitchen area.

It seemed that, since our last visit, the maintenance standard had dropped. There were 3 bulbs not working, no dishcloth or tea towel. But this did not impact our stay.

Great location but the property is tired and unclean.

The location is perfect for the city and access to free parking on site was great. The apartment was a really lovely size with amazing ceiling heights.

Upon arrival, we found that the bed had not been made, and the bedding was piled up in the bath. Two of the pillows had no pillowcases, and the quilt was not on the bed but in a heap on top of a very dusty wardrobe (with no quilt cover on). The apartment itself was not clean — there was noticeable dust throughout. Luckily we had a blanket in the car we could use on the bed, but as we were still cold during the night we went out to purchase a quilt to use for the final 2 nights. Additionally, the cafetière was broken and the lid didn’t fit. Despite the listing showing a microwave, there was not one in the apartment. This was quite frustrating given we had planned to use it during our stay. Most concerning, however, was the dangerously hot water from both the tap and the shower. There was no warning about this, and the temperature was extreme — posing a real risk to children, elderly guests, or anyone unaware. This is a serious safety issue that needs immediate attention. Overall, the condition of the apartment fell well below acceptable standards, and it certainly didn’t reflect what was advertised. I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and consider appropriate compensation.

Great apartment in a great location

Great location for our sons wedding at the Faversham . Huge apartment, comfortable and clean . Also easy walk of 10 minutes to Leeds shopping.

The en-suite could have been larger considering the huge floor space of this apartment but no issue for a couple of days.

Disappointed I’m afraid.

Very well situated for City Centre.

This apartment will have been amazing when first completed. Unfortunately things are starting to look rather tired. Grubby, mouldy bathroom (especially shower) with no form of heating that works. Surprisingly no mattress or pillow protection. The kettle could do with descaling, the dishwasher requires a deep clean and the tea towel had deposits of old food on it.

Comfy beds in a great location

This is our third time staying in these apartments and overall they’re good they’re really starting to look tired now. On the plus side they’re well equipped with comfy beds in a great location.

They are tired for the price, the shower was grim around the base and door. The heated radiator in the bathroom didn’t work. Both sofas look like they’re damaged at the lounge end so we didn’t use them. It would be great to come back and see a refurb.

Great for visits to the university

Beautiful and large apartment. Very good location for visiting the university, as I did. Also walking distance to the city center. Bed comfortable.

Cleaning could be improved. Bed was clean, but found piece of glass, plastics, and hair clips on the floors. Terrible smell in the fridge. Staff helped out immediately with the fridge when informed.

Lovely clean large rooms, nicely styled and comfortable. Location was useful to exploring the city and we found it to be perfectly quiet, undisturbed, free parking for one car and someone answered the phone when I called with a query. Would definitely recommend!

Some basics such as scissors missing and most of the photos on the walls were either fallen down within the frame, or missing or broken frame so looked a little scruffy. Paint touch ups required.

Lovely big rooms - I was on my own but it would easily accommodate a family. Quiet residential area, yet short pleasant walk into town. I appreciated the tea, coffee and milk sachets.

Heated towel rack in bathroom was not working. One of the fireplaces wasn't working. The light in the bathroom was insufficient for shaving. No coffee pot (one was provided when we asked).

Delighted

The location is great, and it is definitely the best serviced apartment that I have rented over many years of travelling to Leeds. The staff also went out of their way to help when my car broke down. It is a large and well-maintained property but that personal touch adds something extra.

All positives. A nitpick would be that one of the windows needed a new lock fitted. Otherwise perfect

We will definitely return on our next Leeds trip!

Early check-in was much appreciated so we could get straight out and on with our day. The building itself is stunning and the inside feels really classical and cared for. The apartment was huge and the bed was without a doubt the comfiest we've ever slept in. Everything was clean and tidy. The heaters were on a timer and were silent which was a nice touch, we were never cold even though it was 1-2 degrees outside. 5 minute walk into the city centre was great, and the price was perfect. Netflix logged into the Bedroom TV, nice touch. Comfy bath in the open space, super relaxing. Piano in the entrance is beautiful. I had a little play one of the afternoons.

The only real problem for us was the loud electrical buzz coming from the boiler room which we couldn't switch off (we tried everything). I'm quite sensitive to sounds so i guess it's my problem, but we had to keep the TV on overnight to cover it, which didn't help much but it enabled me to get a couple of hours at least. If we're in leeds again we'd return, but probably in a different apartment in the building. Other notes (if i had to think of things?) The hallway had a strong smell of damp - not detrimental to the stay but worth checking as it's a first impression Some of the notes around the apartment felt a little passive aggressive, but I can only assume they're there because of inconsiderate guests in the past so it's understandable Some other guests were inconsiderate with leaving on both mornings - 7am and talking at the top of their lungs, slamming doors etc. You can't really do anything when it comes to common courtesy but hey-ho. Some cheap basics would have been nice (even if it's just a pint of milk and a small loaf). Again not super important, but the difference between great and excellent. When we got inside there was no power in the apartment. There was tape over one of the switches that said do not turn off and we didn't want to press it, but after trying absolutely everything, we switched it and it returned the power on The laminate flooring sunk near the bathroom door, obviously not a cheap job to sort and probably caked in damp below it, but worth bringing up if you weren't aware

A lovely apartment in the centre of Leeds- especially good for a couple. Comfy double bed.

A lovely place to stay, The cleaning staff and site manager were friendly efficient and helpful. Decorations were put up for halloween which reflected a caring homely feeling to the apartments. We had a very nice time and, given that there were some rainy days, were happy to have booked such a lovely place to stay. We felt at home, but it still felt special. Having a dedicated parking space for the apartment was a brilliant luxury in a busy city like Leeds.

Although the main double bed was great, the sofa bed seemed best suited to small adults or children.
