Great deal for the price. Everything is well maintained and comfortable. I would definitely go back.

The breakfast and the staff were super nice.

Great location with parking and close to many things to do.

The location of this hotel was great as we were there for a concert. We utilized the parking offered which is about half a block up the same street from the hotel entrance. There is a locked entrance to enter the parking so it is an extra layer of security. There are many high rated restaurants/bars available within 5 minutes walking distance. The owner was wonderful and very helpful. She was very communicative and walked us through details at check-in. The breakfast was wonderful and was a great start to our day.

We were on a bottom floor room (that was very large and comfortable room), but because of that, the airflow was a little restricted. It would be good to have a fan available in the room during the summer months. We did not ask for a fan however, because we got in later in the evening, but we know she would have provided one if we asked.

It was our third stay at Markgräfler and we did not notice anything amiss. Ever.

+ position: close to the city centre; + parking: available near the location of the hotel (but not in the facility); + rooms dimensions: the room was really spacious + windows: those were pretty big and let in aclot of natural light; + style: retro and simple

- parking: no automated doors for the entrance; - arrival: for COVID-19 related reasons the reception desk was not operated and you have to figure out some details reading E-mail messages and info notes in the hotel; - also: the hotel could use some modernization for some details (for instance: the rolling shutters of the windows were manually operated)

Over all, best fit to price and great place to stay in the city.

The place is at a great location! We stayed there for a week. Me and my partner found it to best fit to our needs. Close to the KIT shuttle station. Great internet connection we used for work. The owners are very friendly and helped us when we needed. Originally my partner was spouse to stay alone and I was planning to join him for 2 days only, but after a change in my plans I joined him for all the week and the owners were very kind and didn't take extra payment for that. Walk to city center was 20 min. Many public transport options around.

No small fridge in the room ot common kitchen area for guests.

A relaxing time in a spacious classic european, family run hotel where the staff are lovely.

The room was large, clean, well furnished and comfortable. The staff were lovely, friendly and always happy to help. Unlike some hotels in Karlsruhe, you can enter the hotel even very late at night. Also the owners have a beautiful dog that you can see walking around downstairs on occasion. The dog is very friendly and the owners dont mind you petting the dog. The staff go to the bakery every morning to bring fresh bread for breakfast. The hotel is lovely and quiet, in a peaceful part of Karlsruhe, and there is a tram stop very close by for access to the centre. The surrounding area has plenty of nice places to eat and there is a supermarket close by for anything you forget to bring with you. The floorboards sometimes make noise so you can sometimes hear the people walking in the room above you but thats it. The beds are huge and there is plenty of space around them. The staff have also made a real effort to make you feel covid safe in the hotel.

Uns hat das Hotel rundum gefallen, sehr zu empfehlen!

Sehr schönes familiengeführtes Hotel in einem wunderschönen Jugendstilhaus. Wir hatten ein ausgesprochen schönes und geräumiges Zimmer und das Frühstück war hervorragend. Es ist ein Hotel , das mit guter Hand restauriert wurde. Das Hotel liegt nahe des Stadtzentrums (wenige Minuten mit dem Fahrrad) und öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Wir haben zum zweiten Mal dort übernachtet und können es wärmstens empfehlen.

Alles in allen , war ich , den Preis zugrunde gelegt , sehr zufrieden

Ich mag den alten Still des Gebäudes . Die Lage ist gut . Eine Bus und Straßenbahn Station ist ca 150 m entfernt , mit dieser ist sehr viel in Karlsruhe leicht und schnell erreichbar. Überraschenderweise habe ich gut geschlafen.( Eine Hauptstraße ist dicht dabei.) Das Frühstück war gut , Mein Bad im Zimmer war klein aber modern .

Das ist relativ , da es ein altes Gebäude ist . Der Parkett Fußboden katschte ein wenig , Was ich aber nicht als störend empfunden habe. Einen Aufzug gab es nicht . (Denkmal Schutz) Ich war in der ersten Etage , da störte es mich nicht. Es soll aber ein Sessellift geben , ka ob der noch in betrieb war.

Comfortabel gastvrij hotel op goede doorreis locatie!

Mooie ruime kamer met prima bedden, royale comfortabele badkamer, parkeerplaats vóór de deur. Héél goed uitgebreid ontbijt. Ondanks locatie aan de rand van de stad Karlsruhe, waardoor goed bereikbaar vanaf de snelweg, erg rustig in de kamer.
