Location of the property and the view of the sea is the best part of the property.

I didn’t like the staff much. The receptionist was good but the waiter there was very cold and I felt he was racist. As when I asked him for the coffee he said it’s not for free and you need to pay for the same.

Our second stay at HeleneKilde felt like coming home to the sea. There's something about this place — calm, genuine, and quietly elegant — that makes you slow down and simply be. Mornings began with long walks along the beach, where the clouds painted a new masterpiece every day. Breakfast followed — simple, high quality, unpretentious. It’s that perfect "less is more" philosophy, executed with care. The afternoons brought one of our favorite rituals: the daily wine hour. A glass in hand, the sea in view, a gentle hum of conversation — the kind of moment that makes you wish time would pause just a little longer. Dinner, as always, was a highlight: delicious, thoughtful, and beautifully presented without ever trying too hard. A special word for the staff - professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful in that effortless Scandinavian way. They have a natural sense for hospitality; you feel cared for, never managed. Even the small construction work happening around the building was handled with such calm precision that it somehow added to the place's authenticity. HeleneKilde isn't just a hotel. It breathes — with warmth, personality, and quiet grace. We'll be back, without question.

Incredible place, service and location make this an amazing getaway. Dinner and food was very nice, allowed for awesome, lazy evenings on the porch.

Older building could get warm in summer as its not well insulated (also noise-wise less comfortable). But this is subjective and wasn’t an issue for us. The building also contributed to the atmosphere in a positive way.

The location is absolutely stunning also the terrace view , the food was good and the team serving at bar and restaurant very professional

This is so far the most overpriced hotel I have paid for with the less services included - And I travel so much into luxury hotels ( at least several times a month for work) To sum up : in the hotel there is no reception after 6pm, sometimes no available taxi, no room service, no food in between services ( only 2 tapas on a tiny menu), no real spa. In the room : no mini bar, no air conditioning, no tv, no room service, no safe , no mineral water. The room I was in was on the parking view and so super loud with dozen of family arriving with their cars, they sold me a suite with " partial view" which was only a common access on the side of the room to a public terrace to see the sea. Upstairs you could hear loud clients. All my windows looking on the parking had massive spider webs and were dirty. Too Many loud kids also at dinner and in the common areas Each time I was asking for something during my 3 days stay the answer were " no sorry we don't have, we don't do or it is closed" Worst experience ever - I talked with the Manager who cleared up my small dinner which I appreciate but still - it was a huge disappointment
