It's in a calm neighbourhood but walking distance from every important public transport line
The windows were small but it was dark outside anyway

- nice building
- free wines every day
- nice breakfast
- check in is difficult
- beds are a disaster, like if you are laying in a large pit.

Wine hour was a nice touch! Rooms modern, spacious and clean! Within ten / fifteen minute walk from nearest metro stop. Quiet location. Hotel was busy and had a good vibe!
There were a few teething problems with the wrong room, and a power cut on one of the days, but all issues resolved quickly!

Quiet and comfortable. Free wine between 5 and 6 and a nightcap between 10 and 11. Excellent breakfast.
Little out of the city centre but this is reflected in the price.

The location was lovely and peaceful and very near local transportation. The walking distance into town – about 40, minutes was pleasant and easy to navigate
The hotel was very clean, the staff were very welcoming and the breakfast was excellent with views from the rooftop across Copenhagen.
It will definitely be a place to stay again and a recommendation for friends and family
Everything was perfect.
If I were to comment on one aspect it would be television which did not work despite reporting. There was an attempts by reception to reconnect to the Wi-go but this was unsuccessful.
Whilst watching TV was not a priority – after a long day out it would’ve made for a relaxing evening.

Love the design and the industrial vibes and Carlsberg heritage. Like the portion-size breakfast items in nice glass jars.
For a hotel of this size and not in central part of town; the gym could and should be much larger and much more well-equipped.
Also, lovely touch to be able to order espresso etc w the breakfast but all coffee, both Italian and filter, was too weak and tasted 😣.

Happy hours and the attitudes of the staff were very good.
Matris was too soft the one who’s got back problems.

We’ve stayed at Hotel Ottilia in Copenhagen several times, but this time we were treated very unfairly. There were no tables available for breakfast because they were reserved for guests who hadn’t even come down from their rooms yet. We eventually had to skip breakfast as we had a flight to catch. Very disappointing and unequal treatment — we no longer recommend this hotel.

The building is exceptional and very nicely renovated. The neighbourhood is beautiful and the story of the Carlsberg family is everywhere. The atmosphere in the hotel was very welcoming and inviting, the staff helpful and positive.

Beautiful, industrial location and architecture. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The daily ‘free’ wine hour is a great feature and the wine is pretty good. Staff is very friendly. It’s great that you can cast directly from your mobile device to the tv screen.
It is a little bit far away from the first metro station. Breakfast during the weekend can be extremely busy in the weekend which is not very pleasant and the coffees are not always very well prepared.

Great location and wonderful staff who are always very helpful.
Loved the complimentary “happy hour” beer and wine in the 1st floor bar area.
Rooms are ran sir only and not air conditioned. There is a Dyson cooling fan in the room but it doesn’t do anything for the really warm nights we’ve been having.

I enjoyed my stay in Ottilia a lot. First of all, all in all the room and the hotel is very cozy and comfortable. The rooms are large in size, gorgeous high ceilings, the bed was also comfortable. The selection of furniture is very tasteful, several designer peaces. The Bathroom was also very practical.
Locationwise it is 10-13 min walk from train or metro. The are around the hotel is very nice, several parks also cafes. I would 100% stay there again. The wine hour and night cap are great ideas even though we didnt get the chance to use them. Super cool hotel!
Not really a very bad thing but : The normal room does not really receives daylight, if I would stay in the hotel then I would get the room with the round window to be able to have daylight. Also if you are staying on the 4th floor in the middle rooms, in the morning you can hear the chairs and tables moving from the breakfast room very loudly.

Amazing location and fab facilities, the wine hour and nightcap hour were a great addition.
Inability to control temperature in individual rooms - it was very warm to try to sleep at night

Location and overall ambiance. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
There was no central air, or even a central fan. The room was very warm and there was no way to get good airflow into the room as the window (that opened) was quite small. The nice hotel staff provided a small fan, but as it was not able to be positioned in front of the window the room never became cool. In addition, with the sun rising so early the curtains had to be closed further reducing the airflow.
Also the shower was very hard to turn on and off - we had to use a towel to get enough grip. We did not inform the hotel of this as we checked out quickly based on schedules.
Parking was not included or discounted making this hotel quite expensive.

Conceptually the hotel was nice. Rooms look quite cool and the breakfast was good with a nice roof top perfect in summer.
The property is 10 min walking over cobble stone from the next metro station. Not ideal for big suitcases since you also need to go around the building or drag them up some flights of stairs. The biggest issue, especially when it gets warm is the centralized cooling system. The rooms do not get below 24 degrees which is definitely too warm for my taste. The rooms look quite cool and are like in the pictures. I booked a double bed which turned out to be two singles pushed together. I fell between the beds since they easily pushed apart. Further we had issues with the shower and sink. Next day after pointing these things out we were offered a new room instantly. It was surface level clean but the more you looked, the more disgusting it got. Liquids over the nightstand and lighting fixtures. Not exactly worth the very high rating on booking.
We were pointed out that breakfast is until 11. After going to breakfast at 10:15 we found out that it was until 10. This seems to be a known issue but the chef was amazing and very accommodating.

The luxury rooms are amazing. Try to ask for 4:th floor, 2:nd floor can be a bit noisy. Comfortable beds. Rellay great breakfast. Lovely and genrous wine-hour. Friendly staff, and no problem with an eraly check-in. Overall GREAT
The stylish interior is in some functions a little bit to fancy. For example the bath room is completlu without a wall towards the bed, so no privacy and could be irritating if one of yopu wants to got o the bathroom and the other one wants to sleep when the ligts is turned on in the bath room. The pillows is unfortunately also very modern, small and square. The lights in the corridor is also very dimmed - you can hardly orientat yourself on the way to the room :-)

Room was amazing, bed was comfortable, loved the teas that were in the room. Amazing shower, 10 out of 10, would have one at home. 2 happy hours, every day, and free hot drinks in the morning. Breakfast in the rooftop restaurant was fantastic. Great selection of food and drink. A very nice touch, was when we had DND on the door, they let a goodie bag outside with fresh towels, loo roll and tea and coffee top ups.
The drain on the sink gurgles and makes quite a substantial noise while draining the sink. Also, we thought there was a free pool available due to pictures posted, but turns out to be a separate Spa facility below the hotel, at an extra cost. Also no parking available. Get the Easy Park app for cheap parking.

We loved our stay at Hotel Ottilia. The hotel was all the things we like, cool design, clean and comfortable, amazing breakfast, wonderful friendly staff and a superb location.
The wine hour and night cap hour were a lovely idea allowing some pleasant interactions with the other guests and staff.
Our stay was too short, I could have happily moved into the hotel full time!
3.0 / 10.0
The hotel is a modern, brutalist style which is very impressive. Rooms are spacious. Great location in a «revitalized» part of Copenhagen. Nice rooftop terrace.
My room was 27 degrees Celsius when we came in. The round window unfortunately acts like a giant magnifying glass making the rooms incredibly hot. This was the beginning of may, so I do not want to imagine how hot it is in June/july/august. I was able to switch rooms but the new room was still 24 Celsius.
There is a central air system so you cannot cool the individual rooms down and just have to deal with it. We had a fan which we kept on. When we left, I closed the blackout curtains and kept the window open but when we came back to the room housekeeping had opened the curtains and it was incredibly hot again. Should change this routine and do something with the central air.
The hotel and area it is in also has very many levels, making transport with a stroller difficult, you have to do some detours etc to avoid stairs but it is possible.
In addition, the staff was not very helpful. For this price point I would expect a higher level of service. The breakfast staff in particular did not help in finding a baby chair during my meals, I ended up getting it myself and they were not very service minded in their demeanor.
I was told room service was possible but I had to collect the food myself from reception.

Hotel is located in amazing area. Really interesting building. Hotel and room was
nice. Good breakfast.
There is some distance to city center. Sloping ceiling made room feel smaller. Our room did not have proper window, only small ones in ceiling.

The free wine hour and night cap is a really nice touch. The architecture is amazing and a very good location!
Our room had tiny windows which meant that barely any day light came in. The bed was also made up of two single mattresses and duvets which wasn’t as comfy as if it were one mattress and one duvet.
9.0 / 10.0
This hotel is in a great location, easily accessible by train. The area has a great vibe - there is alot of development around the suburb (although no impact with noise etc) so suspect this will only improve. The room was large with comfy beds and a quirky round window overlooking the square. Breakfast on the 5th (top) floor is wonderful - and you even get coffee made properly (we've been missing Australian style coffee), and the views over the rooftops are fab. Communication was easy, as was check in. Gasoline Grill just outside was very convenient (beware they sell out quickly, so order online early).
Not really a negative - we got caught with the lift options - two for the same floor (check your room number).

The look of the hotel and the breakfast was amazing!
I wish the windows were a bit bigger as it was a bit dark in the room.

Very nice and modern hotel in a formerly brewing facility of Carlsberg. Rooms are exceptional high and nice huge round window. Open Bathroom and separate toilet superb. Slept very good.
Great service and friendly people. A nice giveaway is the complementary wine hour. Very great breakfast.
Location is a bit far off of the downtown area but reachable by metro/train in couple minutes.
A bit pricey but same as compared hotels in the center.

breakfast outstanding
comfortable room
spa service.
I booked this hotel to use the spa. Hotel promotes it has this available, but note it requires separate payment. Hotel and spa are 2 separate businesses.
I wanted to book the spa, apparently hotel guests have a discount, but only at 8:30-9:00: who wants to go to a spa with a full belly after breakfast? Apparently sometimes afternoon slots are also available, but not in my case. NOTE: With special hotel discount spa access costs 120 euro.
Eithweway I wanted to book the spa. The hotel staff sent me to the spa staff, the spa staff sent me to the hotel staff. clearly there cooperation is vague. Finally I booked the service independently from the hotel, the spa is impeccable but I paid 220 euros for the experience. This hotel should either improve cooperation with spa facility - or remove from booking.com they offer spa service.

Unhelpful staff.
Were checked into a tiny room. We requested to change for the room we had paid for the next day. Which they did. Only good thing.
Room smells of sewerage after being out all day.
Elevator to our floor didn’t work until the last day of the trip.
Had an unfortunate accident of dropping my phone into side of the stairs. They did very little to help. Got a maintenance person to look for “an hour” so they say. Could have been more hospitable and offered a breakfast on them to say sorry or a cab to the airport literally anything other then pathetic apology we received.

The hotel is very nice, breakfast is super
Well the staff was gentle but not really always welcoming , the feeling I had is that it was more you approaching them than them approaching you
Parking is a disaster, there is no discount for hotel clients and I have ended up spending up to 120€ for one night.
They suggest 2 Parkings but they are not the same in terms of price and hotel staff should know it
