This property was in an excellent location, walking distance from the town centre as well as the castle and walking tracks. Parking right outside the front door was very convenient and the rooms were very comfortable and clean.

We enjoyed our stay in Bacharach @ Gasthaus Stroter!

We loved being able to walk into town. We loved the feel of the community. Our room was very clean and we loved having the cool air come in the windows. We loved the coffee machine at breakfast. Our hostess was lovely!

The bed was harder than we are used to. The European breakfast was not our favorite but it was prepared and presented well.

Great little hotel in the Rhine River town of Bacharach

We enjoyed our stay in this little bed and breakfast. The room,while plain, was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was nice, with plenty of hot water. Proprietress was friendly and helpful, although you will only see her at check-in and at breakfast. The breakfast was very good and is served on an enclosed deck overlooking the garden. Location is in the quaint little town of Bacharach and is perfect for touring the castles of the Rhine River gorge. Private parking right in front of the hotel. Walking distance of several restaurants.

Good location with a short walk down to the old town. Clean spacious apartment and terrace.

I would have liked blinds on the bedroom as the high windows were on the public terrace above and light couldn’t be blocked out. Also no tea/coffee making facilities and no cutlery or crockery if you wanted to eat in the apartment.

Nice quiet location a bit outside of town. Comfy beds. Everything was roomy and super clean. Nice view of the vineyard across the street. Super friendly and kind hostess!

We could hear the family in the neighboring room through the wall until pretty late in the night. Luckily, we'd brought earplugs.

The location was lovely, being back in the valley out of the town center kept things very quiet and the view of the vineyards up the opposite side of the valley was very nice. The host was friendly, welcoming and helpful!

Very nice place, a nice cozy room. Close proximity to town center (5-10 minutes by foot) and the train station. I was checking in early, and also had a problem with entering the code to grab the key, but the host was easy to reach by phone and was there to help me in 10 minutes. 5/5

The room was a tiny bit noisy because 1. One window faces the street and the super-little car parking in front of the house 2. Another window faces the porch, so you hear other guests talking as they enter and leave the house.
