Great old Hotel on a nice Square

The room is in an ancient building in the center of the village. Easy to find and only a few minutes walk from the train station. The staff is really friendly and professional as well. Nice room with a big bathroom, table, and chairs. I had breakfast at the last morning. If you can not find anything to eat there, I do not know where you will find it. Over the course of my breakfast, the staff was refilling everything on the buffet all the time. I highly recommend it. There are a few hiking paths starting next to the hotel as well.

If you are a light sleeper, you have to bring earplugs for the night. On both sides of the river are train tracks and the freight trains run all night. But that goes for all the hotels along the river.

Superb

Hotel Everything about this hotel was perfect! The room was a good size and clean, the breakfast buffet was enormous, varied, and delicious, and the building itself is beautiful, while still functional as a hotel and restaurant. The location is ideal for anyone doing the Rheinsteig. Excellent value for money.

My room was on the top floor on a particularly warm day, so it was a little bit hot and stuffy in the night.

Definitely value for your money

The location is on the quiet side of the Rhein. It gave me opportunity to explore the other parts of the Rhine region. The place serves good selection for breakfast. The room is really clean and beds comfortable. The staff are really courteous and helpful. You can also book Loreley boat trip at the reception.

my budget room was at the front street and very warm putting down the blinds for light was good , left the window open for ventilation and the cool night air. being at that front street I was woken up by local trucks at 0500 or earlier? the sound was loud and seemingly never ending as trucks did what they do, deliver goods or services I know it was a budget room but......

Frühstück war sehr gut. Das Hotel samt Weinstube war in seiner Architektonik und Einrichtung sehr originell und geschmackvoll.

Kühlschrank hat leider gefehlt. Lage: es heisst zwar "Rüdesheim am Rhein", ist aber fast 1 Geh-Stunde vom richtigen Rüdesheim entfernt.

Toplocatie, fijne mensen en heel fijn weekend gehad.

Echt een top hotel om te verblijven. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk. Het eten in het restaurant is ook erg lekker, dus je hoeft in principe niet eens naar het stadje Rüdesheim am Rhein. Het hotel is 1 minuut bij de ingang van de skilift vandaan en 10 mins met de auto van Rüdesheim am Rhein. Met een uurtje zijn we naar Frankfürt gereden, maar we wilden alweer snel terug naar Assmannshausen. We konden de auto prima parkeren en hebben gewoon echt heerlijk genoten van de plek waar we verbleven. We willen ook zeker terugkomen. :-)

De enige 2 minpunten waren de kussens en het gebrek aan een airconditioning/ventilatiesysteem in de kamer. Het was 30*C het hele weekend, deze temperatuur was het zo ook bijna in de hotelkamer, waardoor wij niet heel lekker hebben kunnen slapen. 'S nachts was het namelijk ook nog aan de warme kant en er stond geen wind bij onze ramen, dus zelfs met de ramen open koelde het niet af.

Zimmer waren funktionell. Die Lage an der Wanderstrecke -Rheinsteig- unschlagbar. Personal war sensationell freundlich. Essen toll. Jederzeit kommen wir gerne wieder.

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage, eine schöne Außenterrasse und einen ansprechenden Wellnessbereich. Großzügiges renoviertes Badezimmer

Die Teppiche in den Zimmern und auf den Fluren sind nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Die Hinweise, dass man keine Speisen vom Frühstücksbüffet mitnehmen darf, finde ich total unangebracht. Gerade für Wanderer, die morgens noch nicht so viel frühstücken können, wäre es sinnvoll, sich ein belegtes Brötchen mitzunehmen

Altes, uriges Hotel am Hang mit guter Gastronomie und tollem Personal. :-)

Umfangreiches Frühstück, sehr nettes Personal. Das angehängte Restaurant hat sehr leckeres Essen und die Bedienung ist durch die Bank sehr nett. WLAN verfügbar im ganzen Haus, aber das ist auch notwendig, denn man hat mit Vodafone quasi gar keinen Empfang und mit der Telekom geht es. Also ist man auf WLAN angewiesen um überhaupt erreichbar zu sein. :-)

Wir hatten nach einem Parkplatz für die Motorräder gefragt und vielleicht nicht genau genug geklärt, was der kosten soll. Auf jeden Fall hat man uns für jedes Motorrad pro Nacht 5 Euro Parkgebühren abgeknöpft, obwohl wir mit 4-5 Motorrädern auf einem Autoparkplatz standen. Ich habe jetzt nicht gefragt, was der Autostellplatz die Nacht kostet, aber rein rechnerisch müssten das dann 20 Euro sein. Sprich, die Parkplatzsituation ist nicht super.

Schöne Unterkunft direkt am Rheinsteig

Wir waren auf dem Rheinsteig unterwegs und eine Nacht dort. Das Haus liegt direkt am Weg. Essen im Restaurant lecker und auch das Frühstück war sehr gut. Die Zimmer sauber und ruhig.

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt

Ein sehr uriges verwinkeltes Fachwerkhaus (oder mehrere), sehr gemütlich. Wir haben sehr gut in dem großen gemütlichen Bett geschlafen, auch Decken und Kissen waren sehr gut. Unser Zimmer war sehr groß, ein Raum das Schlafzimmer und ein zweiter Raum zum wohnen mit Fernseher ausgestattet. Frühstück und das Sylvester Menü im dazugehörigen Restaurant waren fantastisch!

Die Möbel sind teilweise sehr alt, auch das Badezimmer, andererseits passt alles zum Stil des Hauses.

Drei sehr schöne Tage am Rhein.

Sehr nettes Personal. Super Lage und schönes Restaurant. Das Frühstück war wirklich toll - alles was man sich vorstellen kann.

Alles war super, einzig die Fenster und Rollos könnten renoviert werden. Aber das ist nur ein Hinweis.
