Lovely but short stay

We stayed one bight in the room Hasensprung which was spacious and with a balcony viewing the Rheingau. Very comfortable bed, nice towels and beautiful furniture, we loved everything about this room! Also the breakfast buffet was incredible and we could even sit outside on the cosy terrass facing the garden.

Bad.Avoid.. Old one, stinks and no ventilation from bathroom

Location is inside vineyard. Nice scenic location. Breakfast was nice. The lady in breakfast was nice and kind. Except her there was no other person to help with check in and check out.

Bad property - the photos are very different than the actual room. It was not clean ( stains, cobwebs). I took the most expensive room with patio and the bathroom is inside the room and no door and no ventilation. Feels like you are in jail.

Fairly pleasant, with some reservations

Nicely decorated room, bed comfortable. Little kitchenette and fridge was nice and also the large honesty fridge in the outside area where you could get beer, wine and soft drinks. Breakfast nice, with option of eggs cooked for you, though more fresh fruit would have been nice. Good bike storage with charging facilities.

Room was lovely, but could have done with another pillow on the bed - just one small, lumpy one. Outside area felt like it needed a good clean. We had a terrace which consisted of a rickety old lounger without cushion and a table with an extremely grubby tablecloth on it.It looked like it hadn’t been swept since the winter. After borrowing cushions and blankets for the lounger I did warm to it and it overlooked the vineyard but first impression was one of massive disappointment. There was also an extremely rusty light outside our door which needed replacing. Not good value in current state.

Superb

The room was amazing and a perfect combination of antique with modern. You could tell they really thought through every detail of decoration. Also the staff was really nice and helpful.

The floors squeaked a lot due to the old wooden floors, which made it impossible to go to the bathroom at night without walking up the other person. But I also think it added to the antique charm of the place.

Cosy place, great choice for a short stay in the area.

Very clean, nicely designed rooms. Nice location, close to the river. The breakfast at their nice cafe was very good quality. They have a beautiful garden, but we were there in winter.

The bed was too soft and therefore not very comfortable for our taste. (This is a common complaint for me in Germany)

Lovely big room and bathroom. Breakfast facilities were very good.

The property was difficult to find via Satnav. No one was there to welcome us but we found our way eventually. Parking was not fully explained - we parked away from the hotel in a public car park.

very stylish hideaway with tranquil views of a vinyard

we have stayed in this hotel before and came back because we loved it so much. The design is absolutely lovely, so is the breakfast and an extra touch is a fridge in the backyard with an honesty box, meaning you can sit in the wonderfully leafy garden, enjoy a glass of wine and pay when you check out. We slept like babies, and I especially loved the generous amount of pillows on the bed - just perfect. We will definitely come back a third time.

there is nothing I can find wrong with this hotel, it is absolutely lovely. It is a bit pricey, yes. But you get a wonderful experience and this compared with great breakfast and friendly staff made it worth the price tag for me.

Romantic, cozy pearl with views on the Rhine river, vineyards and history

Cozy, lovely atmosphere close to the river, vineyards and historic places such as 'Graues Haus' and the castles Schloss Vollrads and Schloss Johannisberg.

A minor issue (not to blame): a lovely shower simply the sink could do better, a lovely kingsize bed simply the mattress could be stiffer.

Superb

We had a wonderful stay in the room "Jesuitergarten" which had a great, fully equipped kitchen with all possible utencils so we could prepare our own meal. Even though corona had shut down the cafe, the breakfast in the morning (served on a tray outside our room at our preferred time) was fresh and delicious. Thank you to Marion and Cornel for this little pearl.

Wunderbares kleines Boutique Hotel in einem alten Gebäude in Ortsmitte. Mit viel Liebe zum Detail mit Antiquitäten eingerichtet. Fantastisches Frühstück "mit Alles". Sehr freundliche, aufmerksame Betreiberinnen.

Schöne gemütliche Unterkunft .

Eine super schöne Unterkunft und mal ganz anders als die sonstigen Hotels.Tolles Ambiente und schöne Einrichtung. Ich hab mich rund um wohl gefühlt und würde jeder Zeit wieder kommen. Gute Kommunikation mit den Vermietern, gefiel mir auch sehr gut und das momentane Frühstück aufs Zimmer hatte auch alles, was man für einen guten Start in den Tag braucht. Vom Bahnhof aus war es zu Fuss gut zu erreichen.

Sehr gelungener Sylvester in toller Atmosphäre!

Die Einrichtung der Zimmer ist wunderschön und besonders, man fühlte sich wie in alte Zeiten zurück versetzt. Das Frühstück war super lecker und es gab eine Riesen Auswahl an frischen Speisen. Wir hatten überlegt, im Sommer nochmal zu kommen und mussten erfahren, dass es just zum Jahreswechsel neue Besitzer geben wird. Ich hoffe sehr, das diese den Charme erhalten und nicht allzuviel verändern werden!

Eigentlich nichts, klar, die Dielen knarren aber das hat uns nicht wirklich gestört.

Perfekter Aufenthalt

Das Zimmer "Schönhell" ist hell, sehr liebevoll und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Es ist alles vorhanden was man für einen Urlaub benötigt. Es sind auch 2 Herdplatten, Töpfe, eine French Press, eine große Teekanne und ein großer Wasserkocher vorhanden. Die Matratzen sind sehr gut und man wacht gut erholt am nächsten Morgen auf. Das Frühstück ist Bestens, kann man nur empfehlen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Sehr liebevoll gestaltet, mit viel Atmosphäre. Im Sommer sicherlich noch schöner, aber auch in trister Zeit ein Lichtblick. Tolles Frühstück!

Online-Check-in funktionierte für das gebuchte Zimmer nicht. Es steckte nicht der Schlüssel wie angekündigt. Kontaktaufnahme per Telefon verlief schwierig. Mitarbeiter oder Chef klang genervt. Das hätte etwas freundlicher ablaufen können.

Tolle Lage, originell und individuell gestaltete Zimmer - und ein großartiges Frühstücksbuffet in einem tollen Frühstücksraum / Kaffee!

Die knarzenden Boden-Dielen dürften denen, die einen Stock tiefer geschlafen haben, möglicherweise nicht gefallen haben - und man selbst ist deshalb bisweilen etwas gehemmt, sich im Zimmer `normal´ zu bewegen ... Aber ist halt ein altes / historisches Gebäude!
