Enjoyable stay overlooking Christmas Market and the river Rhein.

Location excellent for Christmas Market.

No plug for the sink. Unable to move the position of the window blind.

Good location, breakfast with a view

The location is excellent. The hotel has two buildings, one facing the river and one behind. In the building facing the river the wiew is good, but it can be noisy because of trains, also in the night. I stayed in the back building, which is very quiet. The breakfast restaurant has an excellent location facing the street and the river, and with some tables outside. Breakfast is fine, but the selection varied from day to day. I assume it depends on how many guest there are.

The hotel is in a great location with a nice overview of the Rhein river, other local shops and restaurants.

I like the location that the property was in.

I didn’t like how there was no central air or even a fan in the room. Also the bed wasn’t actually a Queen size, it was just two twin beds set together. The shower could’ve been cleaner as well, the space is a bit tight inside.

Must stay

You can beat the location, close to the train terminal and close to the main area. The restaurant is before the lobby. Beautiful front view of the river. The hotel seems new...my roo. Small but absolutely cute. Great shower. Kurman was so caring, friendly... an excellent host.

On my part I should have ask for a fan Besides that. I don't remember anything I didn't like.

Our 4th visit to the hotel, but I do like the trains!

Rooms overlook River Rhine and railway.( double glazing removes most of noise but ask for room at back if you don't like trains ) Breakfast good and has meals available all day until about 8pm.

Only 4 car parking spaces, so book a space in advance ( chargeable ) or it's a 10 minute walk to free car park that's often full.

Lovely hotel with a view of the Rhine and centrally located

Centrally located in a lovely village on the Rhine. I had a view of the river from my window. The hotel had a secure place to store my bike

No fridge or A/C and there was noise from frequently passing trains, but that added to it atmosphere of this lovely hotel.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Hotel was very nice and rooms were comfortable.

Window was left open in the room causing mosquitoes to be trapped in. Very little parking get there early so you can get a parking space.

Good location, nice views

Lift was broken, we were travelling with a baby and a stroller and they put us in a room which the lift (when working) didn’t reach so we had to carry the stroller up four flights of stairs. It was very hot, there was no air conditioning or fan so we had to sleep with windows open and there were A LOT of mosquitoes in the room. Staff didn’t know a lot about the area.

Breakfast was good for the value. You get coffee, orange and cherry juice, water, milk, cereals, fruits, cheese, salami, eggs, fresh bread.

We ´ve got a room at the end of the hotel, with a horrible view towards an indoor garden and parking, from where you could only see some cars, the walls and windows from other buildings and even worse, the garbage. We´ve announced it was my birthday, but all we´ve got as present it was that view. More, not even the personal internet wasn´t working there. Wi-fi you can get only at the reception and on the hotel´s terrace. The hair dryer was very dirty, old and it wasn´t functional. The furniture it´s pretty old too

the Location is great.. it is in the center of everything.

The bed is the worst part, you feel the spring of the bed. The pillow is useless.. feels like nothing in it. The in evening shift is nice, He help with the internet. There is no lift.. Thats terrible.

The room is very small, could, not comfortable. The bathroom and the toilet are tiny. No shampoo no soap in the room. The personal doesn’t speak english.

Walls exceptionally thin; not the trains that others have mentioned, but I could hear: drunk guests coming in loudly and singing late at night, children running in loudly at about 5am, several other room’s toilets flushing, luggage being dragged down the stairs at 7am (despite being a fair way away…). Mattress ok for me but thinner than some would like. That said would definitely go back but ask for a room further from the entrance and stairs (number > 11)

Great place to stay and I hope to go back again.

Room was great with a lovely view over the Rhine river, Ate in the restaurant most nights and there was a very good choice of excellent meals though we could have done with the menu in English along with the German but we got by.

Pretty much all we wanted, there was nothing we did not like.

Disappointing

Clean. Comfortable bed. We were grateful to find a room available for the night as we bicycled through. There was locked secure bike parking. The staff woman who greeted us was friendly and kind. Breakfast was good.

Sadly, As it was hot the windows had to be open. The hotel is opposite the RR crossing and the signal frequently was very noisy all night long..

the staff was rude and unpolite. Only the barman showed me where the room was, while the receptionist was arrogant and left me without indicating anything like where the room was located and no password for the wifi.

Overall, it was a pleasant visit for the amount of time we spent in the room.

The breakfast was very nice and the staff present on both days very friendly.

The shower wall/splash guard had been removed and not replaced. It made it very difficult to shower without getting the bathroom floor wet.
