A real treasure! Just a shame we could not bring home the wine on the plane...

As non German speaking guests with very little knowledge of the region we were unsure how our stay would go but we had a great time meeting interesting people and learning a little about the area and the wine Our room was large and comfortable, quiet and airy, and spotlessly clean. We had a well equipped separate kitchen area with a dining room table in it, as well as a light bathroom with a shower There is a supermarket and bakery close by so we could prepare a meal for the evenings without difficulty too. The breakfast was simple and fresh and we enjoyed joining other guests at a long refectory dining room table. It was a bonus to be offered eggs in addition to a plate of fresh fruit and a platter of meats and cheeses with breads, yoghurt and coffee by the lovely team of people. who looked after us for the meal. The garden and outside areas are comfortable and guests are invited to use them which is lovely and Axel and Ute, together with their son, Heinrich, made us feel relaxed straight away. They are also totally professional and obviously run a "good ship" both in the winery and in the accommodation.

We loved being accommodated in the traditional family homestead but this was around 750 metres away from the main B&B base so we had a short walk each way to get to breakfast. In many ways this was an advantage but for some guests it might be a slight difficulty - particularly if the weather is hot or wet. I am struggling to find anything that I disliked.

Breakfast was simple but acceptable. The position, the all structure and the staff were excellent. Wines tasted really good :-)

Wifi was not working continuously and a bit slow.

A fine stop-over

We really enjoyed staying at this historical yet fully functional winery with its courtyards and original buildings. The restaurant was just a short walk away and all the wines we tasted were great.

The property is located next to a supermarket and the town itself is alright but not necessary a place you would want to spend a holiday. It´s fine for a stop over though and it is close to the pretty Nahe river valley area and vineyards.

Tolle Unterkunft mit herzlichen Gastgebern

Der Empfang war sehr herzlich, ebenfalls die spontane Weinprobe der Gastgeberin. Das Frühstück war glich einem Buffet, war jedoch direkt am Tisch aufgebaut und zusätzliche Wünsche wurden direkt gereicht. Sehr empfehlenswert!!!

Ein charmanter Rückzugsort mit Herz

Ein wunderschön geführtes Haus, das mit Herzlichkeit und viel Liebe zum Detail begeistert. Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig, und das Frühstück war eine wahre Freude – frisch und regional abwechslungsreich. Die Gastgeberin war überaus aufmerksam und fürsorglich, und wir schätzten besonders ihre Bereitschaft, uns für den nächsten Aufenthalt ein ruhigeres Zimmer anzubieten. Ein wirklich angenehmer Aufenthalt in einem Ort, der sich mit viel Charme präsentiert.

In unserem Zimmer zur Straßenseite war es morgens unter der Woche recht lebhaft – am Wochenende dagegen wunderbar ruhig. Beim nächsten Besuch würden wir gerne ein ruhigeres Zimmer wählen.

Tolle Unterkunft auf einem Weingut

Gleich mach der Buchkng wurde ich per WhatsApp sehr freundlich begrüßt und aufgrund meiner späten Anreise mit allen nötigen Infos und Bildern (zur Orientierung vor Ort) versorgt. Erwartet hat mich ein schönes ländliches Anwesen (Weingut) ein geräumiges, liebevoll eingerichtetes Zimmer und ein Frühstück, das keinen Wunsch offen ließ. Nicht zuletzt wurde ich auch persönlich überaus gastfreundlich empfangen und betreut. Wirklich sehr zu empfehlen.
