A lovely 2 days spent revisiting Rudesheim

Even I bad weather the views were stunning. The waiting staff were very attentive

Beautiful hotel, great food, service good but due to my last point, not quite excellent.

It was a beautiful building stuck away in the middle of the forest. with a wonderful view from our room. Staff were helpful and friendly and the restaurant was excellent - the schnitzels were delicious.

A minor criticism would be that they did little to help us once we realised we would have to leave our ebikes down in the town of Rüdesheim as the uphill climb was too steep and we didn't have enough juice left. We took the chairlift up to the Niederwald monument and had to walk 1.2km with our heavy bicycle bags to the hotel. I rang them and asked for help and it would have been a nice touch if they'd sent a car to pick us up. But to be fair, the error was mine for not reserching carefully enough and the receptionist did at least tell us the quickest route to walk. Nonetheless, a shuttle service, which we'd have been happy to pay for, would be great - perhaps they could attract more cyclists, because it really is a hell of a climb.

Restful place in the countryside

Beautiful location and restful with a nice wellness area and a good restaurant. Nice to have a marked walking trail as well. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were helpful. Lots of parking available.

Unfortunately there was a terrible smell in our room and the hotel was fully booked so we couldn't change rooms. We brought it to their attention and I do believe this will be remedied in the future.

We only stayed for 1 of our 2 nights booked. Room too warm. Restaurant was ok, and breakfast acceptable

There was no atmosphere. No kettle in room, bar shut at 9.30 and was unmanned. No air conditioning, or air in room.

We loved the convenience to hiking trails and sky lift into town. The hotel staff was great!

Hoped for good stay but disappointed

Lovely location and generally good food Room offered was view standard we had paid for and had to debate getting the right standard of room with the manager All ended well

The poor quality of two meals on second night which manager said we had to pay for as we had crouched the food The wild boar goulash was inedible tough and very fatty The duty manager was unhelpful Finally agreed to pay for obe meal even though both were inedible Went to bed hungry Offers a schnapps or sorbet as a placator Unacceptable Spoiled what was a celebratory birthday When I showed the manager on booking.com the basic rooms they had put us Wray’s the business the pms we had paid for her initial response se was all the rooms were business rooms!!!!!! She then showed me alternative too d that Nat hee what I had booked This is unacceptable practice

Area is beautiful

We ended up in a room that was in dire need of a push into this century. The evening staff had too many people to take care off, leaving us with a Fawlty Towers feeling.

Elegant hotel

Very elegant property at the top of a hill. Clean, fresh air as the hotel is located in a Forrest. It is close to a cable car station from where you can access the town. Breakfast was tasty. The views from the hotel are fantastic!

Room is spacious and comfortable. The ambiance is great if you're looking for peace and quiet stay. They have excellent food and wine list. Lots of parking spaces.

The location is amazing - we had the best view from the room ever. The staff is very nice, the restaurant excellent, the pool and spa wonderful. Most of all, we loved feeding the deer which live just outside the hotel.

more a 3 stars rather than 4 starts hotel.

it was clean and the area is great for short weekend trip

the service needs enhanced, they are either understaffed or unfriendly, especially for breakfast it takes ages until you get something to eat. regarding breakfast this is average, no buffet. as I’ve booked the hotel for its wellness facilities, this were not as hoped! they have an indoor pool but in my opinion at least the water and the wellness area was chilly, for sauna, clients are requested to announce 15 minutes before in order to get heated. on big unpleasant service was the charging of electric vehicle. a) there is only one charger available and b) they ask for a flat rate of 25 Euro/ charging.
