Bad experience

The location

No one on reception you had to walk ten minutes to another hotel for breakfast. Shower gel container empty. Stayed here a couple of years ago and it was really well run. Disappointed definitely not worth the money it cost

Hotel by 6 parking places only!

There is no one at the reception desk at all times. You have to call the owner and he will send an employee to the reception desk. We stayed for 3 nights, but on the last day none of our cards worked at the entrance to the hotel or the room. The hotel only has parking for 6 cars and you have to wait for a spot every morning. The adjacent public parking lot for 20 euros/day can only be paid for in a machine with coins or German payment cards. Water was flowing in the toilet in the room for 3 days. The air conditioning unit, which is about 20 years old, in the room was very noisy. The breakfast was very poor and only one small coffee maker worked (including making hot water for tea) - the other one was out of order for 3 days. There was a thick layer of dust on the wardrobe in the room. I definitely do not recommend staying here in combination with a car.

Relaxing wellness area but horrible sleep

We had the steam bath to ourselves which was nice. It was very clean. The sauna also looked good but we didn't use it.

Our room was right beside the reception. The front door was very loud and we could hear guests return throughout the whole night. It was very warm but having the window open during the night turned out to be difficult as staff was smoking outside our room and people were constantly talking. In the morning the reception area just behind our room door was becoming lively with guests and music, which also made it impossible to sleep. On another note, the pool was cold and the massage features were not turned on.

Paid more than I have booked for.

When we arrive to hotel it was closed and we were waitin g on hour to get in. No WiFI in 4 days, breakfast was on Rheinstein hotel, 15 min. walk, swimmingpool closed, reception closed

We have paid to much. When I booked the room the price was 107 euro per day. And you have taken 159, 307, 203, 159 euro for room. Parking 40 euro. It means 656 euro for 4 days and not 848 euro, as you have charged os for. I have tried to call you, no respons. I am looking forward to receive the between euro back. My tlf. +4560194882

Great Water Pressure… and That’s About It

good water pressure in the shower.

We booked this hotel hoping for a comfortable stay, but what we got was… memorable, in all the wrong ways. Our room faced a gas station and an abandoned parking lot, which was not exactly the scenic view we had in mind. The room itself was outdated and gloomy. We didn’t even try the breakfast because it honestly looked pretty depressing. Think sad cereal and old ham. For the extra charge, it felt like a total rip-off. The biggest disappointment, though, was the staff. They seemed more annoyed than welcoming, and getting help or even a simple answer felt like pulling teeth. We weren’t expecting five-star service, but some basic friendliness would’ve gone a long way. Overall, not a great experience. There are better options out there, even if they don’t come with a gas station view.

Location was good, were able to leave our bikes in a lockable room over night. Friendly staff.

Noise from the road made it difficult to sleep. If we re-book would ask for a room at the back of the property.

Lady on the phone the day before arrival was lovely and kind.

Location

Room had a very strong smell like cigarette smoke mix with Parfum. Towels were damp and had the same smell. Mentioning this to staff we got “Mh oh” as a reaction. More then 350 Euro for that is just unacceptable. And asking beforehand for things like one mattress or two single ones, answering and getting exactly the other thing. Where is the point in asking if no one cares anyway. No solution offered. Sad.

Great Stay

Room 307, suite with outdoor seating area. Very nice room, big shower, nice outdoor area. Nicely decorated, very comfortable. Very quiet, could not hear the train. There is a small grocery store a block away. Everything went well and we would definitely stay here again.

Nothing really, Location was just a couple blocks out of the main busy area, a plus for us. We walked everywhere except to train station, because of luggage.

Pleasant

Many Germans seem to believe that a hard mattress is healthy, good for one's back. But our mattresses were hard in the extreme, and we slept badly. I think hotels should offer medium mattresses, to please as wide a range of guests as possible.

For a couple of nights this hotel is fine. My son's room was small and one would describe it as adequate. The showers were hot and the staff were helpful. The reception is not manned after 6.

Noisy

The lady at the reception on monday was very friendly, understood our complaints, apologized and granted us a discount because of our bad experiences. The breakfast was good. The staf was very friendly, apart from the lady at the reception desk.

We asked for a quiet room, which was confirmed to us by email. We got a room at the third stock, front side of the hotel, situated at a busy road and a railroad with long trains passing by also during the whole night. Our complaints that our room was not exactly what we describe as a quiet room, were answered with the advise to keep the windows shut. A real quiet room was not available untill sunday (our planned third night at this hotel). We applied for this room and a parking spot that was not available either. We did not hear anbything anymore. If we would have been aware of all the noise in our room, we would never have chosen this hotel. Quite fatigueted we left the hotel after three horrible nights. Free WIFI was offered. The WIFI in our room was so weak, that we had to switch to 3G / 4G

Personal war nett, Lage war gut

Frühstück war sehr mager und nichts besonderes, Obst aus der Dose, Zimmer preis viel zu hoch, Bad war Mini klein, am Waschbecken kann nur einer stehen, Für " Junior Suite" war meine Erwartung höher, noch nicht mal eine Flasche wasser auf dem Zimmer, kein Wasser im Sauna bereich.

Leider wegen Nachbarn unerträglich!

Die Lage, Personal Reception sehr verständnisvoll und kompromis bereit

Seit 22 Jahre übenachten wir in Rüdesheim, verschiedene Hotels. Leider, weil es über Weihnachten war, war das Personal nicht anwesend. Wie haben Pech gehabt, unser Zimmennachbarn, Nr. 208 waren wahrscheinlich Psychopaten!! Im Zimmer nur geschreie, laute Töne usw. Wir habe es akzeptiert, schließlich ist Weihnachten, Dann aber haben wir im TV Märchen " Drei Nüsse für Aschenbrödel" gucken wollen, oj, unsere Nachbarn haben nur an die Zwischenwand laut geklopft, mit Schuhe oder was? Sie wollen Ruhe haben!! Es war die Katastrophe. Da kein Personal vorhaden war, war Zimmer Wechsel Nachts nicht möglich. Zwei Nächte das Gleiche. Nie mehr hin.
