Rheinhotel Rüdesheim - Wellness

Wir hatten die Suite. Große Terrasse mit schöner Aussicht, nach hinten raus sehr ruhig.

Relativ teuer, wir waren aber auch für Rhein in Flammen dort, da ist es vielleicht teurer.

Perfekte Lage

Wir sind in Deutschland in Rüdesheim . Deutschsprachige Mitarbeiter am Empfang wäre gut gewesen.

Wellness centre was a rabbit warren of white doors, most without a sign. No staff available there. Pool very small but deep

It was clean, and breakfast was reasonable

Location in what felt like the poor end of the town. No one manning Reception, took them 5 minutes to appear. Bedroom was clean and comfortable but very basic and small, no spare pillows. No socket to plug phone charger into. Huge ugly black plastic bin. En-suite bathroom clean and acceptible but pretty basic, with plastic cups and low quality shower gel which didn’t even fit the dispenser on the wall. General maintenance pretty poor, chipped paint and tiles. Poor attention to detail and indifferent staff. No pleasantries, just basic questions. Breakfast was ok but nothing outstanding, complete with Christmas serviettes ( in May!!) Considering our charge for 2 people for 1 night was €210 it felt like very poor value. It would have been ok at half the price!! We have stayed at some wonderful hotels in Germany over the last 15 years with attentive staff and gorgeous rooms for far less.
