Clean, kind but a little cool

I stayed at the hotel at the end of December. The single room was clean and tidy, with a renovated and spacious bathroom. Breakfast was good, nothing exceptional but complete. The hotel is centrally located, a short walk from the historic centre, and there is free parking in the area. The staff were very friendly.

Unfortunately, the temperature was not comfortable even though the heating was turned up to the maximum. My parents' double room was even cooler. The dining room was also very cool.

It was the worst hotel I have been. Rooms are very small and very old. Not worth half the money I paid.

Nice hotel a short walk to the city center

Pleasant and quiet place to stay in Rüdesheim. I was in the room with a balcony (right below the hotel sign outside) and had a great view of the church. The bed was comfortable, plenty of warm water in the shower and the location was perfect for exploring the city. I even had a nice meal at the Chinese restaurant inside the hotel.

Great for a short stay. High value for money.

We stayed for 2 nights and it was comfortable. The host was very nice. She even prepared a little birthday surprise for me. Very accommodating. Great location. The view from my window (second floor) was amazing. Great value for money.

The beds could be better. They were 2 single beds made 1 double bed. The mattresses were bit old and sagging down.

Mid-June is hottt… since no a/c a fan in the room would be most welcomed… we travel with a small one but it didn’t help much…

We booked secure parking for our motorcycles, it was confirmed, but when we arrived there was No secure parking & the guy at reception was unhelpful.

Suitable for short stays

I stayed just one night. Due to that I experienced less. I can only say that the hotel staff are really kind and helpful.

Toilet cleanliness was a little below my criteria. It looked clean but the smell was unpleasant.

Great value for money

The property is very close to the Drosselgasse and not too far from the train station. The rooms were a good size and we enjoyed that the window could be opened and there was also a fan in the room to keep us cool.

The room was a bit dusty, but other than that, it was kept clean. We liked that a fan was included but wished the rooms were air conditioned. The only con is that it is located toward the top of the hill so the walk can be harder for those with mobility issues.

Good location. A few minutes walking distance to the City Centre and/or River front. Quiet nights. Staff were kind, welcoming, and polite. Would recommend for anyone wanting to explore Rüdesheim.

Breakfast good

The bedroom and bathroom were very tiny, with no room for movement. The shower was not working. There were insects over the bed. As on the hotel page it was written that there would be no cleaning service and that we would need to sweep the room at check out, under penalty of having to pay a fine of 50 euros (I thought it was absurd, I've never seen anything like that in countless hotels I've stayed at), we spent some time cleaning the room.

Breakfast is delicious.

The room is very small, it is difficult to put down the two suitcases.There is no parking lot, and the parking lot is a bit far away, holding a box to walk a steep ramp. The hotel accommodation is a bit far away from the front desk, and it is difficult to walk with the suitcase. The accommodation has no elevator, and the stairs are very narrow. We didn't drink the water in the refrigerator, but the hotel was charged while paying, and we found it in time.
