The vegan breakfast was a masterpiece. Much love went into that. The institution reflects the ethos of Hildegard of Bingen. The orchard cafe is wonderful.

Everywhere in the area is sharply uphill and there is no obvious bus service. Was strenuous in the intense heat.

Very good

Cleanliness is superb. The room is decorated well and stylish even it's a part of Church area. The bed is comfortable. The staffs and breakfasts are very nice. The hotel located in the high area of Bingen which allows you to have a great view to the Rhein river. The bus stop is just in front of the hotel!

It's a bit far away from the city center and restaurants area (around 2 km). Also because Binger is a small town then the bus comes only once per hour (or 2 hour) which a bit difficult to travel go and back, therefore mostly walking is the best choice. The staffs are not available 24/7, therefore there are a protocol to check-in automatically and you might need to be able to speak German and call them if you need help.

Very quiet location within a 10 minute drive to the downtown area.

Getting a good night's sleep was challenging due to numerous mosquitoes that stopped by the room. There wasn't air-conditioning so we had to leave the windows open to cool down the room which they apparently took as an invitation. According to the staff the presence of mosquitoes was a common problem due to the close proximity to the Rhine river.

Interessant og sjovt sted at overnatte, drevet af nonner - de såkaldte Kreuzschwestern. Venlig og imødekommende indkvartering. Rigtig god morgenmad serveret ved bordet. Super udsigt til Rüdesheim. Bare i orden.

Der var lidt stejlt at gå ned til vandet.

Uiteindelijk vriendelijke ontvangst. Een goed ontbijt.

Het is even uitzoeken waar je de receptie vindt. Daarvoor moet je - onlogisch - naar een totaal ander gebouw lopen. Dit werd gelukkig wel telefonisch uitgelegd, de bel bij de deur heeft geen enkel effect. Naast het pand loopt een pad en een stuk verderop staat rechts een wit gebouw. De kamer zelf is sober, maar heeft wel alles wat je nodig hebt. Het is iets minder rustig dan verwacht, waarschijnlijk omdat het weekend was en er een feest ergens was. Hiervoor moest je echt wel het raam sluiten, wat de temperatuur binnen helaas te warm maakte.

Nie wieder werden wir in diesem Hotel buchen!

Das Bad war modern und praktisch eingerichtet. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig.

Es gibt kein Frühstücksbuffet. Marmelade, Käse, Wurst und ein Frühstücksei werden am Tisch serviert, ebenso die Getränke wie Kaffee, Tee, Orangensaft. Leider gibt es keinen koffeinfreien Bohnenkaffee. Unser Zimmer war extrem klein mit einer großen Dachschräge, die bis ins halbe Zimmer reichte. Beim Öffnen der Zimmertür kam man geradeso am Bett vorbei. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier keinesfalls. Auf der Webseite des Hotels werden nur große geräumige Zimmer abgebildet, ein Foto unseres Zimmers fehlt. Kein Wunder. Erwähnen möchte ich, dass wir das Zimmer bereits ein Jahr im Voraus gebucht hatten. Bei einer kurzfristigen Buchung könnte ich so etwas noch akzeptieren.

Extrem sauber, sehr nettes Personal, variiertes Frühstück, großes Zimmer. Sehr ruhige Lage. Große Dusche mit gutem Wasserdruck.

Der Lüfter im Bad hat einen Bewegungmelder und geht immer an, wenn man das Bad betritt (mit und ihne Licht) und ist laut und hat eine relativ lange Nachlaufzeit. Das ist nachts etwas störend. Neutrales Mobiliar, es ist nicht gemütlich, aber neutral und zweckmässig. Es gibt keine Möglichkeit in der nähe zu Abend zu essen. (Ich kam von einer langen Wanderung). Das Forum bietet ab 16:00 Uhr nur noch Kaffee und Kuchen an. Restaurants in der Nähe gibt es nicht. Vielleicht sollte man so flexibel sein und ein Wurstbrot oder Speigelei anbieten.

Ich habe mit dieser Unterkunft in Bingen ein Hotel gefunden, in dem ich künftig absteigen werde.

Das Zimmer war für meine Zwecke mehr als ausreichend groß und gut ausgestattet. Ob es für einen Urlaubsaufenthalt genügen würde, bewerte ich hier nicht. Das Hotel an sich liegt in sehr ruhiger Lage im Kloster oberhalb von Bingen am Rand der Weinberge. Das Bad mit der barrierefreien Dusche war riesig, kein Vergleich mit den Erfahrungen, die ich diesbezüglich bisher gemacht habe. Der Empfang zum Frühstück war liebevoll, ich wurde beim Eintritt persönlich empfangen, mit Namen angesprochen und zu meinem Tisch geleitet. Die Auswahl und Qualität der servierten Lebensmittel war hervorragend. Es gab kein Büffet, stattdessen bekam ich eine Auswahl an Wurst und Käse, Marmelade, Brot, Brötchen und Obst am Platz serviert, was mir persönlich mehr zusagt. Meine Bemerkung bezüglich der Menge der servierten Lebensmittel wurde damit kommentiert, daß ich mir gerne ein Vesper für unterwegs richten könne, was ich dann auch tat. Ich komme wieder!

Das Hotel verfügt nicht über eine eigene Rezeption, sondern erfolgt im Restaurant, welches um 16:00 schließt. Ein persönliches Einchecken ist nur bis 17:00 möglich. Für eine spätere Anreise gibt es ein automatisiertes System. Hierüber wurde ich proaktiv telefonisch informiert. Das Restaurant mit dem Check-In-Desk fand ich erst nach längerem Suchen und mehrmaligen Anrufen. Hier sollte eine Beschilderung installiert werden.

Sauber, Ruhig Aufzug kleines Einzelzimmer, aber sehr grosses Bad Fahrrad kann im Keller sicher übernachten
