A slight design fault in the shower whereby some water does not drain and spills over over the bathroom floor.

Brand new modern apartment, a place to securely park the bicycles.

Wonderful apartment on the Rhein. Brand new modern apartment. Extremely clean and comfortable. New king size bed with wonderful cotton linens. Kitchenette to make coffee (Nespresso) or tea ( kettle), small fridge and microwave. Huge Smart TV. Strong air conditioning. Opens up onto a huge courtyard with tables, chairs and umbrellas. We were able to park our bicycles securely in the courtyard next to our room. Walkable to restaurants. Lovely breakfast. I would return, highly recommend.

The host ist great, rooms ar big, beds very comfortable and we loved to have the aircon after a very hot day. The breakfast is excellent! Thank you 🙏

A fabulous small hotel in a quiet location directly near the Rhineradweg.

An incredibly well presented and managed hotel. With the ongoing renovation and new work it is going to become an exceptional facility. A real credit to the owners. Secure undercover storage for bicycle.

Facilities nice. Manager not so nice!

Clean, nice room. Nice shower. Breakfast good.

Manager was cross that we arrived late. Then he was very rude at breakfast in front of the other guests (because we hadn’t paid for breakfast in the original booking but I was very happy to pay) and made us feel very unwelcome.

Bike Tour

The hotel and a real family feel and is a lovely old building with lots of character. You cannot eat there on an evening. But the breakfast was first class. It is only a short walk to a vinyard and a camping plaza for food.

You are just across the road from a major Trainline which can be heard.

Bicycle touring in Germany

It’s comfortable. Room was spacious with heater and air conditioning. Bathroom was nice. Everything was clean. And host was exceptionally helpful and kind. Breakfast was wonderful. Private backyard to store the bicycle.

My room was on the 2nd floor but the host helped me with the luggages when checking in.

Very pleasant.

Very pleasant, personal atmosphere. Good and more than sufficient breakfast. Location in the Rhine valley is good for excursions into the surrounding area or if you have business in Kempten or Gaulsheim. Conveniently located for transport. Approx. 2 km to the centre of Bingen.

Very nice breakfast.

The owner does not welcome us like one expects from a person working in a hotel. He was surprised by seeing us before 10 pm and his first question was ‘’What do you do already here?’’ Unfortunately he also came unfriendly across, even if he was flexible for our demand and for what we are thankful.

Authentic German style and comfort

Excellent host family with very comfortable rooms including air conditioning. Breakfast was lovely and authentic German style in the beautifully decorated dining room. Very good value. Definitely need a car but Old Town was only 3 km away. We enjoyed the Wine Festival and Excellent Reisling from the host's family Vineyard. Some noise from the trains but you find that anywhere along the Rhine. Vielen dank Gerhard.

beds very comfortable, host very attentive, windows are very good sound barriers against the noise of the trains, located in a quiet part of town, it a pleasant walk to the restaurant area along the river. one of our party needs gluten free food … was all catered for, nothing was too much trouble

This is a great stay: - friendly and helpful host - renovated and comfortable rooms which are well insulated, you'll hear barely any train sounds - breakfast has a good amount of options and the egg is on point - dedicated parking space for hotel guests

Wonderful stay on the Rhein, close to magnificent castles

The room has a good size and it is very clean and neat. The breakfast is also very good. They take good care regarding covid-19 measures.

Be careful when you open the window, as spiders might enter the room.

New, clean and good rooms with plugs in the wrong places

Rooms just renewed, big and comfortable. No noise although the railroad just across. No lift. Location not so near the town, you need a car. Staff very kind. Excellent wifi.

Front door always closed, you need to have your key always with you. Location is not very good, you can see the river but just a little from your room. Plugs were everywhere but where you need them, that is near the table. Hard to charge laptops and phones,

Modernes Design, super gemütlich und ein toller Gastgeber

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt! Die Unterkunft war super sauber und besticht durch ein sehr modernes Design. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die hochwertige Ausstattung: Von der Kaffeemaschine bis zum Wasserkocher war alles vorhanden, was man für einen entspannten Start in den Tag braucht. Das Bett war unglaublich gemütlich, sodass wir bestens geschlafen haben – auch weil es in der Unterkunft angenehm ruhig ist. Ein weiteres Highlight ist das super schöne Badezimmer, das sehr geschmackvoll gestaltet wurde. Ein absoluter Hingucker ist zudem der tolle Innenhof, in dem die charmanten Schlaffässer für ein ganz besonderes Ambiente sorgen. Besonders toll war auch der Kontakt zum Gastgeber: Er ist super nett und konnte uns jede Menge interessantes Hintergrundwissen erzählen, zum Beispiel zur Geschichte der umliegenden Burgen. Wir kommen definitiv gerne wieder!

Hatelijk, luxe en prettig verblijf!

Een huis met geschiedenis (vraag de eigenaar). We hadden een luxe appartement aan de achterzijde. Het ontbijt was erg goed. De service was uitstekend en de eigenaar zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Al met al een aanrader. Wij komen zeker terug!

Behalve een extra haakje voor de handdoek kan ik niets verzinnen.
