Clean and quiet rooms. A bit expensive for the location
Check in procedure is a bit complicated. We were told that we will receive a code for opening the safe deposit box for collecting the keys on the day of the check in, but we didn’t receive it for some reason.
But it was possible to get the code by calling the number given.

The price was good. The facility was decent.
I was on a bicycle tour on the Rhine bike path. The hotel is 1.6+ kilometers from the Rhine River, UP HILL! Google map stated that it was “mostly flat” - it was flat wrong. I’m 79 years of age and after riding over 50 kms to get to Bacharach, the last 1.6+ kms was a real killer! To make matters worse, there’s absolutely nothing, nada, around the hotel to buy beverages or food. Because it was raining (late September) and dark, and the cobblestone street was slippery, I had to walk all the way into town to find a restaurant. There was no one at the hotel to ask for information about anything. It was strictly self checking in. Also, there’s no fridge, microwave or hot water kettle to make tea. Breakfast was only served on Saturday and Sunday (I was there on a Tuesday.) So guests really have to fend for themselves. Had I known about the lack of service and the distance to restaurants, I would have chosen a different accommodation.

Nice and clean room. Very good location (4 mins drive to central).
The door of the toilet doesn’t give privacy.

Clean very comfy bed
A bit deserted and up the hill away from town

It was clean with good sized rooms. Safe bike storage.
A strange set up. Not in Bacharach at all. Remote, no staff.

The beds were comfortable and the area was very quiet. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was ok, there were eggs, a few types of cheese and ham, some cereal, yoghurt and jam.
It’s about 25-30 min walk from the centre of Bacharach, a bit uphill but not that difficult.

Bacharach is a small town. As such, when we were there in early March, the town was very quiet. The hotel is located about 1 mile outside of the town center. While it is a nice location, it is at least a 25-minute walk into town. The hotel is nice and room was clean. Since it was during the low season, we did a self check in so we didn't come into contact with any of the staff member except for a brief duration during breakfast. Breakfast was decent for 12,50€. Not hot items, but plenty of cold cuts and cheeses and hard boiled eggs.
The hotel is about a mile from the town center which may or may not be an issue. The walk is quite scenic so we didn't mind it, but it could be quite a hassle if you want to go back and forth multiple times during the day to the town center.

Room was quiet with a balcony onto the side of a wooded valley
They did not provide entry details before check in time. Tourist Information helped me to get the details. They should have told me before hand that wi-if at the property is open and they do have an arrangement with a staffed local hotel for emergencies.

No staff at the hotel when I arrived at 5pm until next morning, slight problem getting access but host was very helpfull

A good place to stay for one night - a couple of nights! Hiking areas with nice views are very close) Note: clarify about breakfast in advance. At least during our stay, it was in the form of a relatively small set inside a vending machine (not a very optimal option to my mind, so I decided not to include it).

Very nice place, quiet. Staff helpful. Room as advertised.
Walk from town, and especially from the train station with suitcases, was a little too far and uphill for us, may not be for some. Didn't mind the walk downhill to town to grab dinner, but the walk back uphill to the hotel after dinner was a little difficult and long, Next time we will stay in one of the hotels on the main downtown street.

Great value, Quiet
Contactless checkin, while simple, wasn’t easy to figure out. And with literally no one on site to answer questions, better multilingual signs, including once inside directing me to my room, would have been extremely helpful.

staff was friendly and supportive.
very good price.
I believe the covers for mattress and pillows were not changed and they were dirty with a lot of short and long hair on them. I saw some insects and one of the in the bath was really look like a tick🥶 I hope not.
and a lot of stairs without elevator. I don’t recommend this hotel for family having babies with carrier.

Lovely rooms, one of the only places in town with air conditioning (which was very appreciated during my hot July visit), very quiet and peaceful. Self check-in was very easy, and it was great to have this option as my flight was very delayed so I arrived close to midnight. The hotel staff went above and beyond to help book a taxi for me short notice due to my late arrival!
The hotel is a bit of a walk from town (not strenuous and flat, but about 15 minutes duration), but on the plus side this makes it quiet and peaceful. It's also right across the street from an excellent winery to visit for tastings (Ratzenberger), and the scenery on the walk into town is beautiful so the location wasn't a problem for me.

Very nice part of the town with historic buildings.
Hotel is understaffed.
Existing employees are unprofesional with little or no communication abilities. Poor knowledge of german and english.
Although we were there for 5 nights towels and sheets were changed only after we requested, after 4 nights.
No routine for housekeeping and cleaning of the rooms was respected.
We could not communicate with personal or owner not even when the fire allarm started in middle of the night at 1 AM for no reason, sounding for 30 - 40 min. At reception there was no one and the emergency phone numer was disconnected. We had to call at Police and fire department ourselves since the fire alarm unit had not been conected to the fire department unit in the area.
There is no breakfast possible outside weekends, although in our reservation was set as a permanent option.
For breakfast we had to drive every morning 2 km to Bacharach.

The hotel room is modern and nice, and my partner loved the air conditioning. Check-in and check-out went smoothly with the online form, I never even met a staff member except for the cleaning lady. Prices were fair as well!
Even though the booking info said no prepayment necessary, I was still emailed and asked to prepay. I refused, which they apparently accepted without further comment.
The Hotel uses an online check-in system with the desk only being staffed for 2 hours in the morning. The information on how to pay online was not clearly communicated and only bank transfer was accepted, not the other payment providers like the info page claims they support. In the end I paid by instant transfer one day ahead of our stay and everything went smoothly, but the communication on this was not at all clear, especially during booking.

Good breakfast, clean rooms
They claim rooms face a forest, but our room was facing the trafficked villige main road.
The hotel is placed on the main road as part of a long row of buildings, not isolated in nature as the photo suggests.
Nonetheless Ok

The rooms were very comfortable and clean, with air conditioning, beds very comfy as well
Blackout curtains are too small and don't cover the whole window, in the morning the light shines in. Location is a little far from the old town but it offers free parkinv and can drive down.

A friendly family run hotel in a quiet location but easy walk to the centre of Bacharach (uphill back.) If you have children with you (we didn't) it would be very welcoming for them and a playground just up the road
Restaurant wasn't open in the evening - a shame because judging by the breakfast, it would have been good

the room was nice and comfortable. quite easy to park.
breakfast was limited and coffee machine didn’t work. bathroom garbage was not empty before our arrival. reception only open a couple of hours in the morning.
