We should have allowed more time in this area, and would be happy to stay here again.

We did not have the breakfast, so can not comment. Location is very convenient to walk into the town. Parking was very good. Very friendly reception.

I was surprised that the previous reviews were so good.

Fitted bed sheets not comfortable. Very little in terms of coffee and tea making items provided. The kettle had scale. There was one sachet of sugar and no tea or coffee. It looked like they forgot to replace what was used. I didn’t bother to ask for anything. A smell in the bathroom. Shower and toilet not clean enough.

Ideal for our stopover in bacharach

Short walk into town after being given a larger room more suitable to the dog at no extra charge. Very helpful and friendly owner who spoke good English.

Nothing spectacular but still enjoyable for a night.

Cute little town and good location. Not much was open but the few restaurants that were open, we enjoyed. The room itself was spacious and clean. I liked that they had a small fridge you could purchase a bottle of wine for a reasonable price.

The bed was not very comfortable. The balcony had a simple table and chairs, not much to it.

A perfect place to stay

The host couple were wonderful -- friendly, helpful and generous. Our room was bright, spacious and clean. Breakfast included everything we wanted. We enjoyed our stay very much. Easy, safe parking was also appreciated.

Good location, quiet location. Not too far from town center. Hosts were very nice, speak good English and free parking was nice. They even did our laundry for a reasonable price.

The room was nice. The bathroom was a little dated. The staff (owners were very nice). There was a kettle in the room which was a nice bonus and in a good location.

Lovely quaint hotel and hosts

Stephen and Sybille were very friendly and hospitable. The room was comfortable and clean, with a nice view off our patio. They served a lovely breakfast. The hotel is just a short walk to the old town with restaurants, intesting sites, and the dock for river cruises.

Good location, close to town but without noise from trains, clean and quiet. Stephan the owner extremely nice and helpful.

The room was a bit on the warm side despite opening the windows which could allow mosquitoes to come in. It would have been challenging to share the room with person, perhaps there were larger rooms.

Wonderful Hotel, Fantastic staff. Would 100% stay here again

Above everything else we liked, the couple that own / run the hotel are absolutely wonderful people, so friendly, helpful and kind. Room was large with a spacious balcony, bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good, Location is excellent just 5 minutes from the centre. Definitely will return here, Thoroughly recommend this hotel.

I would love to come back here next time I'm in Bacharach

A great location, just 5 minutes from Bacharach's Altes Haus, and we were lucky enough to get a balcony on the quiet street in front of the house. Free parking on premises, and a very good breakfast was a bonus, as well as a warm welcome form the hosts!

the very nice owners, the room with balcony, the very good breakfast- buffett for only 5 euro, we liked everything and the accomodation price is just a bit high for us but those are the normal prices in germany so we are traveling more abroad cos rooms are mostly cheaper ;) but still it was very great and welcoming, thanks from anna& keren

Very friendly hosts in a charming pension in the town of Bacharach. Perfect for a short stay. Room was very nice, with balcony. Bit dated, but fits with the history of the town :) Superb breakfast served!
