Perfect place to enjoy beautiful San Agustinillo

Such a great welcome from Mano. Perfect position on the beach. Comfortable room. Great restaurants nearby, including El Navigante and Resto Bar Del Fondo, with fish landed that day. Worth getting up at sunrise as the boats come in! San Agustinillo is more charming than next door Mazunte.

Transfer from Huatulco airport was a nightmare due to roadworks which will continue for some time. If flying you should use Puerto Escondido.

Location on the most beautiful beach. Great views from the room and very clean.

Just make sure you take mosquito repellent. They did their best to keep rooms mosquito free.

Perfect stay at an amazing beach. We plan to return.

We loved our room, the staff, and the restaurant. We switched from an Airbnb that was a similar price and this was a much better experience for us.

We loved it. The food at the restaurant is awesome. The hotel was my full but if it was full it might be difficult for the restaurant to handle a lot of tables at once.

Beautiful week at Casa Bagus

Such a fabulous small hotel- it was spotless, well-appointed, quiet, and included multiple little touches to make my stay really comfortable and easy. The location right on the beach is incredible and I loved being able to use the beach chairs during the day, and the terrace/hammock in the evenings. All of the staff were very welcoming, helpful, friendly, and accommodating. I was also thankful to be staying somewhere with air conditioning. Would highly recommend Casa Bagus for a wonderful stay!

Great hotel, great beach, great staff, great food!

Literally loved everything about this place. The host was incredibly sweet and very thorough in showing us around the property. The restaurant on site is a gem. The chef is amazing and so accommodating. The room was well equipped and very comfortable. And, then there's the beach - the hotel is steps from it and they have a spot with chairs and an umbrella reserved just for you. Cannot say enough good things.

I guess the internet occasionally goes out, but that's not really a complaint. Truly the only experience we didn't like was when we tried to explore Mazunte and had a guy try to scam us on some chairs. We decided our beach was better and there were free chairs, so we just went back to Casa Bagus.

Magical, peaceful honeymoon at our new favorite part of Mexico.

We absolutely loved our peaceful stay at Casa Bagus on the ocean. Manon, Gabriela and their team make you feel like family the moment you book. They email you tips about the area and your stay to help you pack and prepare. Once there, you are blown away by the beauty of the place. Right on the ocean, waves crashing, your own chairs and umbrella to relax in daily. The Perla Negra restaurant within the hotel lobby is simple and SO GOOD too. We went out for dinner and lunch in San Aug., Zipolite, and Mazunte…. But this place (Oscar, Mina, and Flor) put together healthy, fresh, delicious food. The shrimp are huge and so delicious. We ate tacos, burgers, ceviche, tostadas and shrimp pastas. Delicious every time we should have just eaten there every day! The rooms are simple, clean and comfortable. A/c is helpful when not use to the heat. Having our own recliner and umbrella each day on the beach to turn too was super nice too! Manon was our vacation guide and helped with connections, ideas, scooter rentals and even connected us to a local tattoo artist (and drove us there). We can’t say enough good things. We will be back in 2024. We wish we never left :) -Honeymooners Lisa and Nathan

really nothing. Nathan and I love visiting Mexico. I would say if you’ve never been to Mexico or this area…. it’s helpful to know that this is a quiet, sleepier part of the beach. walkable to other spots or Mazunte too. Come here to relax.

Paradise found!

It’s hard to pinpoint a single highlight because simply everything stood out! It was incredibly cozy, friendly, and fun, and all the amenities rocked! Manu (the host) greeted us by saying “welcome to paradise” and truer words have never been spoken. Added bonuses? The restaurant in the hotel was amazing (fresh mango juice every day) and each room had two designated beach lounge chairs. This is one of my favorite vacation spots ever!

A very relaxing stay in paradise!

What can I say, I booked 5 nights, it was so good that I booked an 4 extra nights and came back at the end of my holiday! A gorgeous hotel set right on the beach with the most welcoming and homely vibe. As a solo traveller this was so important, and the host Manu made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. Great food & drinks from Oscar, comfy beds, hot water and good pressure, comfy loungers on the beach. Loved everything, it’s paradise. Thank you!!
