Amazing stay!

OceanoMar is lovely oasis with an amazing view of the sea from the pool. You could spend the day at the pool/loungers. There is a ceiling fan in the room and windows had mosquito nets. The sound of the waves at night are very peaceful. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There are reviews that it's hard to get to the hotel via 'very steep treacherous' steps. However, we did not find this to be the case. It is also a short walk to a beach and very close to the viewpoint.

Amazing stay, highly recommend

The view from the pool was absolutely stunning, we couldn't believe it! Our room was also incredibly spacious and had a view looking right over the pool and beach. The staff were sweet and the breakfast in the hotel restaurant was delicious! The walk to the main town/village is quite steep (10 mins or so) but that was fine for us. Easy to access Punta Cometa too via a back route. Would highly recommend and wish we stayed longer - it all exceeded our expectations given the price!

Some people said the pool could use a repaint which is true but is such a minor thing and the pool is still so lovely irrespective of that! Also note that they don't have a card machine so you need to pay via cash or bank transfer

Super view

The view was 10/10. We were the only guests at the hotel, and it was unforgettable — very quiet, beautiful, clean rooms, a big pool, and a lovely garden. They gave us a room with a pool view, and it had everything we needed. We really liked this place.

The pool could use a fresh coat of paint to look nicer. Unfortunately, the restaurant is closed during low season, so you can’t get coffee in the morning. Other than that, everything was great.

It was a beautiful location, and with a couple of small changes would make this exceptional.

The restaurant on-site was great. They had a friendly staff and a changing menu for dinner.

Air conditioning in the room would have made this experience excellent. Also, re-painting the pool would give this a first class feel.

Out of this world views, one of the most spectacular hotels ever!

The stunning views. The delicious food. The private rooms.

They stop serving food at 3pm, which is such a pity because it’s so tasty. The walk into Mazunte town is up two big hills so it’s not so easy to grab food. You can still get limited drinks but it’s something to plan ahead for if you are arriving after three. A private fridge in the room would have made it perfect :)

Excellent spot in Mazunte.

Great place to base yourself in Mazunte, halfway between the main area on the left, and the quieter gem of a beach on the right. I got addicted to their fresh lemonade which was incredibly refreshing. The views are inspiring from up there!

We stayed in two different rooms, one was quieter, but the quieter one had worse lighting. One was better sealed from mosquitos than the other. The place is clean and the facilities work though - the nets are of high quality, so we did not have any mosquito massacres apart from the occasional bite.

The facilites were amazing, we felt so comfortable and enjoyed every moment during our stay, options for breakfast are enough if you do not want to go to the town, the sea view also gives you greatest moments to not forget the beauty of nature, fully recommend it! definitely is easier go to the town when you rent a car but if you are in a good physical shape it will not have issues!

The pool was not clean, maybe I am strict but it was not good quality when I used it!

The hotel needs a good painting on walls and wooden areas from the outside...it look not very well maintained. Inside it was OK. We booked a room with one double bed and on sofa bed to sleep separately and the sofa bed had not sheets, and nobody to give us a second set of sheets when we saw it before going to bed. Lonely and boring atmosphere
