Terrific place, far from the busy downtown, refreshing pool

The hotel was clean, the pool was nice and refreshing and kept clean. I really liked the communal kitchen where i was able to make tea, prepare light meals, and, most importantly keep my water bottles cold in the fridge. Thank you so much.

When there are large groups, like when I stayed there, the communal area is less convenient/welcoming.

Loved the location. The staff was very nice and very helpful. Alberto made dinner reservations for us and got us our initial taxi ride.

Location. You’re right on the beach.

Staff did not seem to want to do anything. The bar was never open, I couldn’t even get a coffee in the morning. Someone has decided it’s a good idea to put inflatable mattresses on the sun loungers with bed sheets… looks terrible and dirty in the morning. My bedroom was big and clean with a huge bathroom - shame the bathroom window looked into a storage cupboard and I could hear everything from my bedroom from outside.

Beautiful hotel with amazing views and the most welcoming staff!

We LOVED our stay in Buda Tortuga. We had an amazing relaxing time being taken care of my the Posada’s wonderful staff. Special mention to Don Angel who made sure we were comfortable and happy at all times! The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, the sounds of the waves on the beach were the best lullaby. We cannot wait to be back!!!

The hotel is right on the beach and ocean. You can hear the waves crashing down about 50 feet from your room door, fantastic. we also enjoyed the courtyard pool as well as the restaurant that is part of the hotel.

A perfect hotel located on the most beautiful beach there is. The hotel has a restaurant and bar with excellent food prices and service. On the beach there are rocking beds with comfortable mattresses that you can lie on and relax. The hotel staff was excellent and always helped us with any questions. The room was large and spacious with our own balcony.

there was a nice pool and the location on the beach was very central.

The room was very basic but the price for the rooms was WAY out of line with other nearby hotels that were half the price and offered way more. Clearly, people must know this since it was almost empty - which is why we were able to get a last minute booking. We changed hotels as soon as we could.

The bed was fantastic, I know it is super hot there (thank you for AC) but I hate cold showers. Not understanding why they gave us the room closest to the road (noisy) when we were the only people at the hotel. The rule no outside drinks or food at the property made it difficult being there for 4 days. The staff were very nice. Loved the swinging beds and the most fantastic sunrises and sunsets very worthy as one of the the most romantic places to be, San Augustinillo.

the big deck, crashing waves lulling us to sleep, the staff who immediately fixed a lamp, and also made the finest margaritas of our whole 2wk trip! the breakfast was basic but we liked it. would def stay again. 👍👍👍👌🏼

room was a bit small so no spreading your stuff out, but we adjusted 🙂it was all good-steps away from the quiet ‘main drag’ so lots of easy strolling at night when it’s not so hot.

The access to the beach was perfect. Staff was very kind, helpful and accommodating. Pool and A/C were key things for us.

The only thing to comment here (although we totally understand and navigated around it) was that since the water used for the shower was from a tank, the water pressure was very low and not warm (but we didn't really need hot water). This was not ideal but we are aware that this is how the area gets water and we managed.

facilities, location and staff were all top notch.

They have a policy of no outside good or drink in the entire facility which was not disclosed until check-in. I find this very objectionable because you are in violation of hotel rules if you, for example, want to bring a bottle of wine back to your room. Additionally, hotel cocktails were awful, but this often the case in Mexico outside if major urban centers.

I love this place.

Everything! I stayed for 5 days and it was such an easy experience. A beautiful pool. You can hear the ocean at night. Great staff. Conveniently has a full kitchen and bar but you’re also close to great food nearby. I will be staying here again.

This a well designed boutique style hotel right on the beach. Great vibes and relaxing sitting area on the beach.

The room was a bit small, and not enough light since it was in the back. However, I slept much better in this room compare to a beach facing room where the sounds of the strong waves are very intense.

The manager, her name began with a C was amazing! So kind and helpful. She even had our earbuds delivered to Zipolite when we left them at a table in the restaurant. Will stay here again.

They need to find better coffee, also they don’t start serving coffee and breakfast until 8:30. I wish at a minimum would have coffee ready at earlier or give the guests a way to make it.
