Great location and hotel is very clean.

This hotel is fine as long as you are not expecting luxury of any kind. It is very average.

The staff were helpful.

The swimming pool is small. There are inly 6 umbrellas to sit under. Our room faced the marina and the noise and music from the party boats was way annoying and way too loud.

Excellent location close to beaches, marina and restaurants in Santa Cruz. The service and staff was exceptional . The rooms were a good size with very comfortable beds and excellent air conditioning. The a la carte menu for dinner though not extensive was of exceptional quality.

The pool was quite small for a hotel of this size and shockingly not well maintained.

Never go to Holiday Inn. Don't do it.

The location seemed nice. That has nothing to do with Holiday Inn, they are like a scab on a beautiful face.

We arrived to check in with our two small dogs (as advertised) and weree clearly unwelcome. We were met with rudeness and disdain. Extra unadvertised fees. Second class treatment. When we said we would go somewhere else they were clearly pleased. So were we, let me tell you. A typical corporate slop shop, no customer service or consideration.

Lovely hotel, good place to stay for a week or your first time there.

The property was well situated. Very close to the beach, restaurants, tour meetups and a local market. The rooms were large enough with enough spaces for all your things including a safe. There was even a balcony on the room overlooking the pool and the marina. The staff were excellent and worked hard at the English/spanish language. I especially liked that there were a lot of green option like skipping cleaning day, not getting your sheets changed daily and places for recycling. The air conditioning was fabulous!!

I don’t have much bad to say about the property. The one thing I would suggest is the letters that come in the door when you opt out of housekeeping only need to happen once in your stay, not every single time. It is a waste of paper and effort on the cleaning staff, I chose to hang the sign on my door, therefore I am very aware you will not be entering my room to clean, I don’t need to be reminded every time I hang it on the door. Secondly (and this is no fault of the property) it is very loud in the area, there are party busses going by until 11 pm. Sometimes there are very loud gatherings in the court yard and of course lots of children in the pool in the wee to very late hours, nothing to be done for that.

short and sweet - only one night

We just stayed one night due to the pool having an issue., staff manager on duty was very helpful to find us a hotel with a pool for our remainder of our one week vacation. Hotel location great, there is a walkway close by that will take you to Huatulco Centro Wonderful to get a refreshment while waiting for our hotel check in - nice touch. Spacious, clean comfortable room.

Everything. Location was really good, near Crucecita and the beach and the harbour. Get a harbour view. We had a king room harbour view room with a fridge. Didn’t get the breakfast buffet as we like going to other places, but we ended up buying granola and putting fruit and yoghurt in the fridge. Starbucks booth in lobby for coffee

Fabulous location. Close walking to EVERYTHING & the beach. Great tasty, & inexpensive tacos right next door. The breakfast buffet. Some very outstanding & delicious dishes. Friendly staff, upon arrival we were given a cool refreshment to drink. There was a Starbucks in the lobby. A restaurant on site. Check out at noon. The absolutely comfortable bed & pillows. The suite with the marina view. The shower & bathroom products. Room was very spacious, with a mini fridge. Secure Parking on site. Beatituful & clean hotel.

Pool was not as large for such a big hotel. All though a nice clean pool. Only 1 water bottle per room. With the price of the suite with the marina view it should have included 2 water bottles.

The location was good. The ac was cold. We had unlimited ice. The food was terrible.

Our room had a marina view. It was nice to see the boat traffic.

The food was never what we ordered. The quesadillas came out as tacos. The “beef” or whatever it was, was served with all the gristle and fat. Basically inedible. The “chicken salad” sandwich I was searching for the chicken. Just a lot of mayonnaise. The burger tasted like it had 5 grams of sodium, also inedible. All of the food in Huatulco was disappointing, but we expected more from the holiday inn. Especially at the prices. Very disappointing.

Issue at checkout spoiled our stay.

Nice facility until checkout.

The Plastic cover on the safe fell off when it was opened. The Safe seemed to be working otherwise, so I didn’t think much about it. At checkout, hotel staff wouldn’t let us leave until room was inspected. The luggage was already loaded in the taxi so we were forced to wait in the heat with a baby. I don’t feel it should be common policy to make hotel guests wait 30 + minutes in the heat when checking out of the hotel. They then Charged us 300 pesos for the plastic cover that was loose already and fell off when the safe was opened. What a rip off! We visit Huatulco every year, and have always stayed at hotel Quinta Bella. We thought we’d try the holiday inn for a change. It was a mistake. We’ll be sure to stay elsewhere next time.

The room was big and clean with a comfortable bed. The hotel seemed to be in good shape. The pool is nice and convenient to the lobby. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. We were able to park the rental car for free. The hotel is very close to the bay in Santa Cruz, which is nice.

The communication before check in was weird. Every question I asked got the same answer, which was basically telling me that under no circumstances could I check in before 3, and that checkins after 6 would cause my credit card to be charged. I got multiple messages about this, to the point where I was feeling that the hotel management is not friendly. The restaurant staff did not inform us for 15 minutes that the breakfast needed to be inside at the restaurant, and not at the table in front of the pool where we went for breakfast. It just felt like communication isn't good.

Love the location on the marina. Great room comfortable beds and clean linens.

The staff were friendly and mostly attentive but once they server you they seemed to forget you existed. Even to get the check seemed like a chore. The menu was limited and after 2 meals in the restaurant we were looking for somewhere else to eat.
