Quaint, historic inn in a fantastic location

Location, location, location! The main bus stop was out front of Hotel Garni, and both gondolas (to Seceda and to Alpe de Siusi) were a very short walk away. Ortisei is a beautiful little town and Hotel Garni is right in the middle. Staff was friendly and helpful and breakfast was wonderful.

Expensive, car park was also expensive and additional. Rooms walls were paper thin and could hear people speak next door. Adjoining restaurant. Was over priced, rude staff and terrible food.

Location is excellent, right at the centre of the town and very close to buses and taxi.

Very dated and old. My bed mattress was very old and has a noticeable dent. No laundry facilities.

Great stay in Ortisei

This was an excellent experience! I had a great room with a very comfortable bed, the hotel offers a delicious breakfast, and it's location is perfect. Easy to get to the two main gondola trips, walking around town is a pleasure, it was all in all a fantastic stay. The staff, in particular the Breakfast staff, was extremely pleasant. Highly recommend!

The location is very convenient as accurately shown in the hotel description. The breakfast is really good. I like their scrambled eggs the best! It was a very good start for hiking or trekking. The hotel staff are all super friendly and helpful. You may want to bring swimming suits as they share a swimming pool with another hotel across the street, and they actually have hot spring and sauna. These facilities are not very clearly highlighted here, but you may not want to miss them during your summer days. I wasn't aware that hotels in this area indeed have swimming pools 😲 As for room, it's quite spacious. We faced the river, and listening to the river actually made me sleep better. 😄

Absolutely everything! The staff were very accommodating and friendly giving suggestions about the area. The breakfast was outstanding, the room and all facilities were clean and the location couldn't have been better - walking distance from the main attractions and the town center. There is parking available on site as well.

Lovely stay in Ortisei

We loved staying at Hotel Garni Snalterhof! it is in an ideal location right in the center of Ortisei. The employees went above and beyond our expectations to help, answer questions and were so kind. The breakfast had a great variety of food and the waitstaff were wonderful! Our room was large, very clean and had everything we needed.

The only improvements worth mentioning would be that the beds were a little hard and the rooms were a bit warm. Luckily, it was still a little cool in the evenings so opening the windows helped sleep more comfortably. These did not really affect our stay, though. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Excellent Location, Right in Center of Ortisei, SECEDA Cable Car is 100 meter away, We arrive about 10AM, The Hotel took our luggage and provided the Parking: That's exactly What you need. Wonderful Breakfast in Beautiful Settings! Hot-tub in Balcony We Loved it! If you are coming for SECEDA, I highly Recommend to stay in this Hotel!
