Close to downtown, bus access to downtown & chairlifts, honesty bar and common area, excellent breakfast & decor. Check-in hostess was lovely, very welcoming and helpful.
Paper cups in rooms; out of character for the establishment; we borrowed (and returned) proper porcelain cups from honesty bar.

Front desk staff were professional and friendly.
Our room was large with separate living room and balcony with gorgeous mountain views in a relaxed setting. The walking path adjacent to the hotel was a surprise and well maintained. We walked this path to get to/from the town. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were accommodating. We loved the location being just out of town and we love to walk so it was perfect!
The only thing was that the door was locked when we arrived to check-in in the afternoon. I called the number on the door and they buzzed us in.

Our view from our balcony looked out on the mountains. The hotel is quaint and has a boutique feel. The room was comfortable.
The cost of the room given what we received was a bit too high. I would have expected more. Breakfast started at 8am. Given that most people like to get the day started for hiking and seeing the sights they need to start earlier. The breakfast was fine but not amazing as other reviews indicated. They also charge you for a cup of coffee or tea which is ridiculous given what you pay.
