Modern, spacious apartment right in the heart of Ortisei

The apartment was in the heart of Ortisei on the main street. The receptionist was very friendly and gave us lots of information aswell as the Val gardena pass so we got to use the bus and local pool for free. Conveniently located across from 'de spar' supermarket and close to the bus stop. Nice mountain views from the balcony at the front whilst also maintaining privacy with plants. The apartment was large and spacious, modern and beds were very comfy. Had everything you need microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, electric hob, dishwasher. Hair dryer and towels included. Outside seating area just off the main street.

The temperature control in the room wasn't ideal as the weather was very hot and no air conditioning. Not enough toilet roll included for a week's stay.

Great location - very close to the Ortisei gondola. Free hiking poles to borrow and nice staff

Experience slightly dampened by the fact that they only provided 2x pods for the nespresso machine for the entire 7 day stay - which i just found a bit strange given the otherwise 'luxury' feel of the place and area. I asked for re-fills (as every hotel i have been to so far re-fills 2x coffee pods a day) and was instructed to buy coffee pods myself at the shop which was nearby. Issue is i didn't want to be carrying around coffee pods for the rest of my italy trip as i couldn't find a small pack so just went without. For something so in-expensive and easy for the hotel staff to accommodate and given the price of the hotel think it would really elevate the guest experience to not have to worry about re-stocking such a small thing off their own dime.

Disappointing service and poor value for money. We stayed as a family of four for 5 days and were very let down by the service and facilities. First, the reception was unhelpful and dismissive. I paid €39 to reserve a parking space, only to be assigned a spot with no markings right next to the garage gate. I raised my concern that it might block traffic, and reception assured me it was fine. The next morning at 7:15am, I received a call — waking up the entire family — asking me to move the car. Totally avoidable and very disruptive. Housekeeping was non-existent. We were given only two toilet rolls for four people, and when we ran out and requested more, we were told the hotel didn’t provide extra. Over a 5-day stay, there was no room cleaning, no towel change, and no basic servicing — not even replenishing toilet paper. The room itself had potential due to its size, but the dated furniture and lack of thoughtful layout made it feel cold and uninviting. The bathtub had no shower screen, so every shower left the floor soaked — a real slip hazard.

Comfortable stay with great sauna!

The room is spacious and clean with new adequate facilities. Very comfortable stay. The private sauna is a highlight especially after a whole day trekking. Location can’t be better with a supermarket across the street and many restos and shops around.

Note that there will be no cleaning and change of towels stuff like that during your stay. Keep the room tidy and clean for your better experience. Afternoon can be little warm during summer.

Family vacation

Excellent location in the heart of town. Very accessible to the cable cars to visit Alpe di Siusi and Seceda. We had a wonderful stay and Marie was very helpful with all our queries.

- Marie was extremely friendly and very responsive - the room had great views, comfortable beds - Aquila is located in a the Ortisei center and very walkable to all restaurants!

- does not have proper air conditioning or fan. this may not be a problem in winter months but for summer months this was a bit uncomfortable in the night! - the room does not have a fridge or microwave. there is no common facilities for storing food.

Absolutely perfect

Aquila Dolomites Residence is one of the best apartments I have been. Central location, proximity of ski-lifts, surroundings, spacious garage, furniture, view, wi-fi, ski-room with heated holders, kitchen fully equipped, huge balconies, everything is new and high quality. Comparing to other accommodation of this type in Ortisei this is far the best one. Staff - Marie - really polite and careful.
