Beautiful property in a great location!

We had an amazing stay at Alpenheim! From the moment we checked in, the front desk staff was so lovely. Our room was very spacious and had a great view of the mountains. The spa and pool area were perfect and very relaxing. The breakfast each morning was also great and had a wide variety of food to choose from! The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the Seceda cable car so it was very convenient to get to our hikes as well. Would definitely stay here again!

It simply doesn’t offer good value or fair treatment.

The hotel does have some nice features: the staff were generally friendly, the room was clean, and the view from the hotel was lovely. Breakfast was rich and delicious, with plenty of choices — definitely one of the highlights.

However, the overall value for money was quite low. We were traveling with a child, and although the staff asked at check-in if we needed a bed prepared, this should have been arranged beforehand since we had already booked for a family. What really made the experience unpleasant was the sense of unequal treatment toward Asian guests. Our room was placed in a low corner of the hotel, and the sofa was even torn. During breakfast, we noticed that Asian guests were seated in a darker corner of the restaurant, away from the windows, while Western guests were all given bright tables near the windows. It was quite uncomfortable and disappointing to see. Overall, despite some good aspects, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to Asian travelers — it simply doesn’t offer good value or fair treatment.

We had a great relaxing stay for 3 nights.

Room was spacious with great view. Facilities all good…restaurant dinner and breakfast, pool, parking everything. Matilda on reception was a star and very welcoming and helpful.

Just a bit of a walk to town centre and cable car but not a real issue.

Book half board, it’s amazing

Superb 5 course dinner at an ad on cost of 20 euros! Halibut, wild boar, homemade pasta beautifully prepared and presented by three fabulous chefs. Gorgeous indoor outdoor pool so warm you can swim in the rain. Fantastic location with gorgeous views.

Not our favorite

Nice view of the town from our room.

Expensive for value received. Unreliable plumbing. The toilet would keep running, even after two notifications to management. The shower had unpredictable swings in temperature. The location is on the fringe of town and quite a steep walk to return to the hotel. We will not stay here again.

We loved the pool, the breakfast, and the daily snack time. The room was spacious and comfortable.

Great luxurious stay near Dolomites

The location is really walkable to the restaurants and old town but is quiet. The amenities were lovely and the room was really clean. Breakfast was a standout.

The room had a strange sloped ceiling that we hit our head on many times.

Perfect stay in Ortisei, IT

Very comfortable and luxurious hotel, located in Ortisei which is very fine place for hikers and skiers in Val Gardena, South-Tyrol. The host was very helpful and all his staff very professional. We didn't have ime the check the spa but from outside it looked interesting. The restaurant was extremely good. Professional staff and the menu interesting. Their breakfast was also very good. We will book accommodation there again.

We had trouble to sleep due to high temperature in the room but outside was 22°C or higher. Probably it isn't common to have air-condition in such buildings in this area. For people living in the northern most part of Europe it caused bit of a problem. There was also problem to park the car as the streets are very narrow. The host took though well care of the issue for us. Second night we got space in the car parking house of the hotel. One advice, book a car lot in advance and there will be no problems :) They have very nice car park at the -1 floor, spacious, clean and good lights

Beautiful hotel with an amazing view!

Beautiful hotel and spa. Amazing view of the town from above, loved the pool that overlooks the town and mountains as well. There is a nice 10 minute trail right off the property that takes you into the center of town as well as the cable cars to Seceda and Alpe di Suisi. Modern and clean with a very nice bar and dining area, nice outdoor patio area as well. Would definitely stay there again. The staff was also very nice.

There were many black ants in our room.

The location was beautiful. We loved the amenities, including the heated pool and relaxing pool area. The breakfast and dinner were also excellent as were the staff. This hotel exceeded our expectations.

Do not vc goose Alpenheim

The only staff who were more or less client oriented were the waiters in the restaurant. This seems to be the only “pro”

Overall level of service closer to a 3-star hotel. Be prepared to have a feeling that you are there for the hotel management and staff and not vise a versa, when they are there for the client (how it should be). “Contras” or what will spoil your vacation: 1. The amount of light switched in the room is huge - no common logic of how they all work so you will need to take your card out to turn off the light. Otherwise you will be sleeping with a few lamps on 2. In case you want to/ have to go skiing later than 12 - NO driver is there to take you with your skis and boots to the mountain. You will have to carry it all yourself because the driver has siesta until 2:30 or 3pm. No one cares that you paid money and this service e was included 3. In case you have a zoom or similar vcr in the morning - room cleaning will be knocking in your door every 15 min and trying to turn off the light (the latter looked pretty shocking). Again because you need to fit into their schedule and not vise a versa. 4. No pens and paper to make notes in the room 5. No instructions on how the telephone works, in case you have a question, be prepared to walk to the reception. 6. Any late checkout costs money, even if it is +1 hour and no guests are expected to move into your room. So you will be kicked out at 11am sharp 7. Dirty plates at breakfast 8. Dirty and old furniture

Lovely stay with you.

Breakfast we enjoyed. Very nice staff gave you what you requested. Noise of cars on the hill was annoying early morning. Are view was quite nice. All of the staff were lovely and a very clean hotel. I would go there again as it is charming!

the staff was very unwilling, I paid a lot of money specifying that I wanted a room with the antri riot room, and they gave me a posterior room without option of change. in the breakfast I needed to beg them to put me in a table with a view because initially they put me in a dining room without windows too.. in that case I was very disapointed about the treatment that i received.

The breakfast spread was very good with comprehensive breads , fruits and eggs made to order . Superbly presented and generously offered by the owners George with very personalised and very warm service. Dinner was truly good as I was just in Milan with a much more expensive dinner that did not even taste half as good as this ! I can tell the dinner was cooked with love from the kitchen and we Ed with much warmth!

Could have hot water kettle for tea though the hotel was very supportive to give you hot water flasks as needed .

Do not ruin your holiday

Property itself is very clean and relaxing swimming pool with a Mountain View. only 10mins walk to the town centre. free outside parking.

we booked superior room , but it definitely didn’t feel superior. We felt as we sleep somewhere in the basement. The room was dark with the view of the street . The kitchen is under the room , so every evening we could hear the sound of banging pots and pans. And early in the mornings the noise of delivery vehicles, bin collections etc.. As soon as we seen the room , we asked to change it. But been told that it’s impossible as they fully booked. And the reason they gave us that room is , that it was the last room they had left when we booked . Those kinda statements just proves that they understand themselves that the room is not good enough for paying guests. As we found out later this hotel got a zero flexibility even for the as little requests as the breakfast table. And it seems that the staff really don’t like to hear any complaints or requests. There is this weird attitude … this is how we do things , so be quiet! There are hundreds of hotels in town , I wouldn’t recommend to risk of ruining your holidays by choosing this one.

Bel hôtel. Excellent déjeuner le matin. Plusieurs options disponibles, incluant des options sans gluten. Saunas disponibles, sans spa toutefois. Personnel très gentil.
