Dissapointed. NOT a 5 STAR!

The staff was wonderful. Erika and her husband the chef were the best.

The rooms were of pine and rustic and nothing elegant to represent a 5 STAR hotel. 5 star hotels do not have the owners dog roaming the hallways and barking at customers nor does a 5 star hotel have a half circular shower. You best be thin or else you’ll never make it. Not a great value for the money. We overspent for our stay. There are 4 star hotels located in town with much more tastefully decorated with better amenities. We visited other hotels and compare pricing. Also the furnishing of the hotel is Euro gaudy chic! We tried to relocate but the owner would not refund the balance.

I would highly recommend this hotel!

Everything!. The reception staff were really friendly and helpfull Lucas at check in was very informative and showed us around the hotel. Giulia at check out was very helpful and sorted an issue with the bill. The breakfast was excellent and staff were great. The location of the hotel is central. There is a underground parking. The facilities are great and open 24hrs. The place is just perfect!

The rooms was clean and breakfast was fine.

The atmosphere was very strange, as if they didn’t see many people and didn’t know how to interact. They assign you a table for meals which was odd especially when other tables were available not right next to someone else. The spa has very limited hours for the saunas and outdoor pool so it wasn’t available if you’re out exploring during the day and want to enjoy those amenities. Lastly, the owner/manager was hanging with friends drinking on the patio and it was so uncomfortable we didn’t want to have a drink in that space and enjoy the sunset. It was the weirdest hotel experience and for the price I expected much more.

For 800 euros per night: _no luggage management at arrival _no air conditionning _very agressive owner that shouted at us just because we asked politely if we could change table for dinner; the issue is not only the answer but the way and the tone of answering; accepting feedback should be part his job -rooms name between booking.com and the hotel website are not the same which make it hard to check if we were in the proper type of room

The stay was comfortable, but can definitely do better than this

1.By the time we checked in, hotel stuff told me 40 euro per dog per day. When we checked out they told me is 50, the extra 10 is because we took our dog into breakfast room ( didn’t told before) 2.Worst Parking experience ever! Half of the car are parking one car into 2 parking spot, really difficult to park! We talked to hotel stuff, they told us that they can’t do anything about it :) 3.We’ve booked room with balcony, when we arrived they gives us a “upgrade” to another room, but in the end is the same as the pic on booking, but with a shared balcony which we lost privacy. 4. Very poor ventilation system, the room is still stuffy even when the outside temperature is 14 degrees

Quite a nightmare and disappointing experience

the kindness of the restaurant employees

We were In trentino for 12 nights. San Cassiano, Selva, Ortisei and Merano. This hotel was the only really bad experience. This hotel is not in Ortisei. It's right outside the city limit, on the way to Santa Cristina. It's 20 more minutes walk downhill and 30 uphill. You can drive down but Ortisei is not a friendly parking area, so up to you. Not being regulars of the hotel or friends of the management /owner we were not treated fairly. They oversold our room category (a suite with balcony) and they couldn't give us what we booked. They said we were upgraded to a designer room which even if nicely decorated it was on the back of the hotel on the ground floor with zero privacy. They offered a room on the 4th floor (a cheap double with no balcony) but the director told us that was the room we booked and we believed what was told. We later found out that that we were lied to, that was not the room we booked. We were charged fully with only 50 EUR discount for 3 nights total. That is not the difference in price between the two room categories. The last day after pointing out that the breakfast table was not properly assigned for the 2nd time instead of receiving some overdue apologies I was loudly confronted by the owner in front of all guests. We decided to accelerate our checkout and left. By the way... if you are driving and staying during high season you will have hard time parking. Not enough parking spots. To conclude the professionalism of this property's management is questionable. We believe they should hire a seriously big chain hotels experienced directorl to run operations. We believe there are many other Hotel options in Ortisei to choose from, you might luckly skip a bad experience at Alpine Garden.

100% attention to detail

We absolutely loved how everything is taken care of at this property. They have an impeccable attention to detail and they really make you feel special and a valued guest. Staff is very polite and correct, and they try their best to help. Food is delicious. Our room and bathroom were quite spacious, with views to the mountain. There’s free parking at the property.

The outside pool and jacuzzi temperature could be warmer.

Wunderschöner Aufenthalt mit bestem Ausblick auf St. Ulrich.

Von einer sehr herzlichen Begrüßung bis zum Abschied war es ein wundervoller Aufenthalt im Alpin Garden Luxury Hotel. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und mega hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und angenehm, weil alles am Tisch über mobile Stationen angeboten und serviert wurden. Der Outdoor Pool war der Hit sowie der gesamte Wellness Bereich mit Sauna und Fitness Studio. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder
