Amazing spa and delicious food and staff so friendly especially Taylor from NZ she is so natural and such a welcoming smile!

No airconditioning.

Location was perfect. Easy walking distance to the 3 funicular/cable cars, surrounded by restaurants and stores and very easy to get back on to the main highway to go to other areas. The breakfast was very good and the bar is a great place to wrap up the day. Pools, hot tubs and grounds were all very nice.

There is no air conditioning. We stayed when it was mid 60s F and we had to ask for a fan. Can't imagine how hot and stuffy the rooms are when it gets up to the high 70's (which it is right now as I write this) and let's face it with global warming this is going to happen often. We stayed on the 3rd floor and on that floor is a Kids Club so we constantly had children running up and down the hallway. Maybe they should only put families on that floor. Internet was out for first two days and slow for the other 3 days.

The spa was excellent. Food options were varied and staff very friendly. Loved the bar and terrace for pre-dinner drinks and the Mediterranean night buffet.

Great hotel and grounds. Great breakfast. Great location.

The hotel was great - it is Booking.com I have a problem with. I booked a room with a balcony and probably stupidly, assumed it would have a view of the mountains. Instead, we were on the first floor, directly over an entrance to the hotel where people congregated to smoke. Our "view" was of a courtyard and if we craned our necks, some hills. This is not the first time this has happened to me (i.e. a not-very-clear description of the room) and next time, I will book directly with the property.
