Beautiful place, but didn't beat previous accommodation

Close to easily walk into town and can also walk to the Seceda lift. The shuttle bus was always prompt to pickup. Great facilities: steam room, sauna, ice cold and hot showers, relaxing room, rooftop hot tub, and large ski room. Staff were warm and lovely!! Room was very clean and with views over town.

The shuttle only runs in the morning and afternoon, so if you are doing an afternoon of skiing, you will have to walk to the lifts. The restaurant had relatively limited options and aims for a "modern" vibe - we went only once, but it was otherwise popular (though the prices, we thought, were high). Purely personal preference, but I would prefer to pay half the price and stay in one of the hotels I have stayed in Ortisei before, with a bit more charm. I have also stayed in some hotels with a more local / home chef style of food, but again this is personal preference and the quality of breakfast at Planlim was great.

It’s a great hotel, clean, comfortable, nice location, rooftop jacuzzi, sauna, friendly staff, nice breakfast, shuttles to the square etc. I would revisit this hotel when i go back to Ortisei

Super nice hotel for rest in a hiking trip

Super nice breakfast with lots of options and the staff is nice. There's one day I need to leave early and don't have time for the breakfast, they offer me breakfast box that can be tailored based on my request. The room is big and clean. The shower is comfortable, exactly what I need after hiking.

We had an absolutely fantastic time. The staff were so friendly, and we wanted to give a special shout-out to Luca and Julian at reception for their brilliant suggestions on what to do around Ortisei - the activities were truly memorable. We also loved the facilities (especially the jacuzzi) and the view was simply breathtaking.

Honestly, there was nothing to complain about. The only very small thing was that we weren't keen on the scent of the hand soap and shower gel.

A Wonderful Stay! Our experience at this hotel was truly delightful from start to finish. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and went out of their way to ensure every detail was taken care of. The room was clean, and thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. We especially appreciated the little touches—fresh linens, a great view, and prompt service whenever needed. The location is perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions, yet peaceful enough to enjoy a quiet night’s rest. Whether you’re visiting for leisure or business, this hotel strikes the right balance between luxury and warmth. Highly recommended—we look forward to coming back!

The facilities and staff at Hotel Planlim were exceptional. The property is rated as 3 star superior and we came to understand that is the top rating in the Ortisei region. Booking.com should list the property as 5 star plus. The property was beautifully designed. Cleanliness was great. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable of local attractions. We highly recommend this hotel. You will not be disappointed.

It was one our best vacations ever! The staff and facilities were amazing!

Breakfasts were tailored to individual taste, fresh, delicious and healthy. Everything you could want was available. Wonderful service in the dining area. The location was perfect... a quick walk into town and equally well located to the 3 Ortesei lifts.

Everything was wonderful. The friends we traveled with were celebrating a special occasion and the staff helped us put together a wonderful surprise celebration that began with champagne in the garden and ended with a private dinner in the wine cellar! The staff is extremely knowledgeable about the area and met with us on arrival to help plan our daily activities and then mapped everything out for us on a daily basis. We ended our days with a swim in the pool and time in the hot tub!

Luxurious stay in the Mountains

The facilities were exceptional. The hot tub, panoramic sauna and steam room were very luxurious. The breakfast had a huge selection of high end foods to choose from and hot food was made to order. We loved the breakfast! The room was really spacious and comfortable. The views from the balcony were amazing looking out to the mountains and down The Valley. The whole place was incredibly clean and the gardens were really well kept with wildflower meadows near to the pool. The staff recommended some great hikes and explained everything there was to do. Every member of staff was so friendly during our stay. No idea why it’s a 3* hotel, felt more like a 4* or 5* hotel. I would definitely go back!

The room was quite hot and had a fan but could have done with aircon. I think it might have been particularly warm (30 degrees) the time we were there.

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They offered to prepare breakfast boxes for us as we had to leave 4:00am to the airport. Great view of the mountains from the rooftop spa. Great shuttle service to all ski lifts in the area.

great location and fantastic hospitality

definitely was our best hotel during this time visiting in Italy! we almost could't make it this trip because our schedules was too tight to take 5 hours train to Bolzano, however everything was worth it after we arrived, this hotel is a family business, and it is new and beautiful and you will feel the perfect luxury and not too much to make you also feel like stay at a friend's country house. breakfast is amazing ! Linda and all her family were very helpful you will get all information of this town. We are definitely recommend this hotel to everyone would go to Ortisei. and try a restaurant close to this hotel called Snetonstube. it's really good! very authentic local cusine
