Super position with amazing mountain views from our room/balcony (11) Everything about the place is immaculate. Fabulous classy details in the decor. Very contemporary despite the history from the 30’s. Everything felt ‘new’! Very sensible prices given the position and quality. We loved the fact that there is no TV in the room! The breakfast is amazing , creative and always used ingredients with the best local provenance. Evening apperitivi, liquid or solid, are right up there and priced correctly. All the ‘team’ were fabulous. The STARS of the SHOW are however undoubtedly, Manuel and Alexandra and of course JACK the dog! All 3 of them are lovely creatures and are clearly born to ‘please’. Funny, courteous, interesting and helpful, they are a phenomenal team that will make your stay here unforgettable.

Simply wonderful!

Really phenomenal place that Manuel and Alexandra have created. The rooms are modern and clean, and as others have mentioned, the most amazing breakfast every morning (perfect for an early morning hike)! Thank you, Alexandra for the hiking recommendation to continue on to Alpe Di Tires- what an incredible view, wow! We can’t wait to come back and stay.

The property is located near the pedestrian area of town but out of the busy traffic. It’s well designed and comfortable . Manuel and Alexandra are excellent hosts!

Lovely place and friendly staff

Very friendly staff. Easy to self check in. Good breakfast served to the table with a special dish change everyday and some bread, pastries, overnight oats/yogurt. We bought back some food as dinner and they kindly provide plates/cutleries for us to have it in the dinning area.

Need to climb up a steep slope to the house which could be difficult with huge luggages.

Beautiful modern accommodation with lovely breakfast and convenient location. The owners, Manuel and Alexandra make guest feel welcome and appreciated, and happily advise on everything from local dining options to hiking routes.

Sink is located in the bedroom instead of the bathroom (which may be seen as an advantage by some people ) but makes it difficult for early risers to get ready without waking others in the room.

The elevator does not go to the higher floors, so if you plan to have heavy suitcases, ask for a room on an elevator-accessible floor. However, the hosts will kindly help you with luggage if necessary.

Gorgeous little hotel with a warm friendly vibe

We were immediately struck with the warmth and friendliness of all staff, especially Manuel who went out of his way to help us. The hotel was very tastefully furnished. The room was bright and airy and the bed comfortable The breakfast was delicious and the hotel bar really lovely.

Good with heart to serve resident

Location is convenient to visit alpa Di siusi and Seceda. Both couple serve good to customer. Nice breakfast with good outdoor view. WiFi also good. Outside Parking is spacious. Last day I need go early to lake braise. Both couple prepare breakfast takeaway on 7:15am. Deeply appreciation. I like hostel 2 years shepherd dog Jack

No refrigerator. And the lift is just to 1st floor. If live 2nd floor, it need put luggage thru stairs. Because it renovate from old building and it can hear people walking in 2nd floor if u live 1st floor. And some car sound because near the road

Perfect stay in the Dolomites

Amazing place to stay with two fantastic hosts in Manuel & Alexandra. Alexandra gave us many tips on hiking in the Dolomites. Ortisei is a lovely town as well. Breakfast is delicious and well presented. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, modern and clean. Highly recommend.

Spectacular place

Everything! The communication with the hosts and instructions for getting to the place were very detailed and extremely clear. The rules of the hotel were also very clearly explained and written out in a booklet that was given upon check in. I also received a list of restaurant recommendations with detailed up to date information. All the basics were covered and functioned well - comfy bed, feather-like but very warm blanket, shower with perfect pressure and temperature control, a blow-dryer, blackout super quality curtains, a balcony with a gorgeous view. The attention to detail when it came to setting up the rooms was impeccable and hugely appreciated. The breakfast was included and was amazing and different every day. I generally skip included breakfasts in hotels because they're not that great; here, however, I was looking forward to it. Additionally there was a common room for reading as well as books in Italian, German and English, all marked with the language they were in, there was an outdoor area to hang out in as well. The owners were absolutely amazing, extremely warm, welcoming and attentive. I am extremely thankful for their care in making my stay so wonderful!

The Loveliest Stay

This was an extraordinary accommodation experience! Starting with the check in, when we were warmly received and provided with all the relevant information for our stay. Every question we had was promptly answered in a friendly manner. The decoration is in great taste, minimalist and cozy. The honesty bar helped us to completely relax after the long days hiking. The breakfast is the highlight, with delicious food with high quality regional ingredients and lovely service! Excellent stay!

I felt really felt taken care of during my stay in Ortisei—kind of like staying at a close friend's or family's. Even from before check-in, the staff were attentive, warm, and welcoming. The breakfast was super delicious, fresh, hearty but not heavy, and with slight changes daily. The bar was also very much appreciated with a good mix of classic drinks, local natural wines, local beers, and a nice snack menu. The property and interior are charming, clean, and cozy. Thank you Alexandra, Manuel, Jack, and the rest of the Casa al Sole staff for the amazing stay!!

Wonderful!

We loved absolutely everything about our stay at Casa al Sole! From the warm welcome upon arrival by Alexandra and Manuel, to the spacious, comfortable room, to the delicious, gourmet breakfasts each morning, but most of all the warm hospitality from Alexandra and Manuel and their friendly, attentive staff. Just a wonderful experience!

Consider this place when staying at Val Gardena

The property was clean and modern. The staff were all welcoming and professional which is a plus when visiting Italy! They also give recommendations on good restaurants and hot spots you can visit within the location. Really enjoyed our time.

Add more breakfast choices. Now that the dolomites is getting famous with tourist, specially Asian, i guess its time to add more options with breakfast.

Alexandra and Manuel have created a welcoming, comfortable and luxurious experience at Casa Al Sole. Their attention to detail is reflected in everything from the design of the lobby, dining and guest rooms to the food preparation and presentation. They are the kindest and most generous couple happy to spend time with you sharing information on activities and hikes in the area. I can't say enough wonderful things about them and their hotel... and don't miss the breakfast!

Street noise was a little bit of an issue because we like to keep our windows open at night, but they provided a fan so we could close the window/door for a better sleep.
