My stay at Garni Walter was perfect!

The hotel was beautiful, my room looked like it had never been slept in before. The breakfast was a feast! The hotel is a quick walk to town and the bus stop. It is however a steep walk. If you are in shape you will not regret staying at Hotel Garni Walter!!

Beautiful and very comfortable hotel in Ortisei

What a lovely place to stay in Ortisei! Extremely friendly and helpful staff, outstanding breakfast, great location (5 minute stroll into town) and easy parking. Rooms are huge! We were so comfortable with the space provided. Staff let us keep the car at the hotel for an extra couple of hours while we finished a hike after checkout. Thank you for having us!

Almost everything. Staff was amazing - VERY friendly and extremely helpful. Included breakfast was the best we’ve ever had in a hotel stay. Would highly this hotel to anyone. Location was ideal. Can easily walk to both gondolas going to Alpe di Suise and Seceda, as well as everything downtown. Free unlimited bus passes to everywhere in South Tyrol included. Didn’t need to drive our car for anything.

Outstanding and memorable.

We had an outstanding experience at Hotel Walter. The facilities are excellent, the room was spacious and welcoming. The breakfast was out of this world. But to top it off, the people running this hotel are some of the nicest and most welcoming hosts we’ve encountered. We will be back. And lastly, thank you hotel Walter. You made our Ortesei experience one to never forget.

Ok for a short stay.

In a quiet part of town with no road noise. Very clean throughout. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice and constantly topped up. Friendly and efficient waiting staff. Plentiful hot water and a comfy bed. We were able to leave our luggage in a storeroom as we arrived early.

Situated up a very steep hill. WiFi was very slow. Standard rooms are on the ground floor so quite dark and overlooking the car park. We were invited to upgrade for an additional fee but decided against it as we were only there for two nights.

Perfect stay in Ortisei

We stayed in junior suite with balcony. It has a perfect Ortisei view. It was just 5 minutes walk to dowtown (returning back is uphill but it was ok even for me). Very delicious breakfast. Room was huge and lovely designed. Sitting at the balcony was lovely. It has a free parking place in front of the hotel. Reception and rooms are nicely decorated

Amazing location and facilities, hosts made us feel like family

Room was very large, parking was brilliant. Location was perfect for access to alpe di susi cable car, secede wasn’t open this time of year but it was also a short walk. Family run air bnb however they were so professional yet warm and welcoming. We had such an amazing stay, breakfast was brilliant, fresh brioche, fruit etc every day. Would recommend this to any traveler visiting Ortesei

Cozy and clean place to stay with amazing breakfast!

Although it was quite a traditional-looking building from the outside, the room was a bit more modern and the bathroom was newly renovated and very clean. The location was not in the town area but only 3 mins walk into the town. We love the atmosphere of this hotel, very cozy and very homey. Sylvia greeted us with such a friendly vibe and made us feel like home. The breakfast was the highlight of our stay. We love all the variety of breakfast choices and all of her home-made bakeries!

Room was very small relative to the pictures on the website. Hostess was rude at times - mostly in a Germanic sort of way and it made us feel unwelcomed. Poor natural light in the room with no view. I would not stay here again and we left our stay a day early for something better. Waive off.

Exceptionally nice family-run small hotel. Generous room with valley view, and super breakfast. Just 200m walk to the piste. Just 5 mins walk down to town centre, and nearest bar. Stunning Dolomite scenery.
