It is a location! Easy walk into the square as well as to the cable car to Seceda.

The location is fantastic! Within walking distance of downtown and gondolas, it made for a perfect place to enjoy the town of Ortisei! The hostess was so warm and welcoming! She made us feel like we were right at home!

It was quite warm so AC or ceiling fans would be helpful. There’s also quite a bit of street noise early in the morning.

Amazing breakfast and sauna access

The breakfast is fantastic. There's fruit, pickled vegetables, bread, yoghurt and a cereal station - something for everyone. The staff are very helpful and friendly. You get access to complementary bus passes and the local spa/sauna/pool. It is a quick walk to the town centre. I would definitely recommend you stay here.

You could hear a bit of noise from other rooms. You have to leave your key when you go out but there weren't any issues and there's a safe in the room.

The location was excellent, staff were delightful. Close to the bus stop (free bus pass with the hotel) and the centre of town. Easy to get to the cable cars for seceda and Alpe di siusi.

Great hotel in an excellent central position. We were able to walk to restaurants, buses and all the cable cars in Ortisei.The staff were really lovely and helpful. Breakfast was included and there was a large buffet to select from. I would choose to stay here again.

We have had a magical stay and appreciated the free bus pass and free pass to the public pool

It was a perfect boutique hotel with beautiful views. The rooms all had a lovely balconies. Very clean able to open the windows for lovely evening breezes. Short walk to the lovely town of Ortisei. Very quiet. Lovely breakfast in a bright light room with lovely food. Rita and Colendra were so helpful and friendly.

Hotel Fortuna is a very smart, well run bed-and-breakfast hotel with parking in Ortisei

Hotel Fortuna is an immaculately clean bed-and-breakfast hotel situated a short walk from the centre of Ortisei (St Ulrich). The property is furnished to a high standard; there is car parking beneath the hotel, up a narrow access road; the staff and proprietor are lovely. This is a great hotel to stay at if you wish to visit the very picturesque village of Ortisei in Val Gardena, but do not wish to pay the (very) high prices of the better-known hotels in the centre of the village.

Our room was somewhat on the small side. But that said, it was immaculately clean and well furnished and the shower room was modern and smart.

WONDERFUL mother & son running hotel and making it feel like a private, intimate accommodation! Breakfast had gluten

Our wonderful host was so welcoming and made my boyfriend & I feel right at home. She was always around for breakfast to chit chat and was accommodating for our needs (we asked if she could refridgerate our leftovers from dinner one night). She and her son were the ones truly running the show each & every day at the hotel, so it was intimate and a family atmosphere rather than big showy hotel staff.

Walls can be pretty thin so you'll hear people walking/banging in mornings when they're awake but you're not.

The place we would definitely like to stay again.

The place is in foot reach to the ski lifts, you can get ski rental discount, free ski bus tickets (not really needed) and free swimming and spa complex tickets. There is an inner garage. Despite lack of large variety of hot dishes, the breakfast was exceptionally rich for a 3 star hotel. We were also surprised by a full sized bath in the room. The personnel is friendly and helpful like in 5 star hotel.

Best customer service! Great stay.

Oh my goodness where do I start. First, when we had trouble locating the hotel garage (direction was fine but we messed up) the hotel employee actually got in our car and directed us to the garage! Talk about service. Location was right in town close to everything yet super quiet. Decor inside and outside in patio/lounge area was gorgeous. Breakfast is terrific. Same hotel employee made sure to tell us where to hike and wrote down directions to drive to our next destination without us even asking. If I lived in this town, I would hire her. Lastly, very clean hotel and even our balcony chairs were spotless. Great views. Highly recommend.

We had such a wonderful stay at Fortuna. Our host was so friendly, attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The location was great and the accommodation was very clean. The breakfast had a very nice selection as well. Would definitely recommend this lovely hotel!
