Cozy residence in the heart of Ortisei

Location was amazing, just a few minutes walk to the Alpe di Suisi lifts, with the rest of the town and grocery store also just a few minutes walk. The jacuzzi outside is very nice for a quick relaxing dip in the evening. There is a large garage to park if you have a car and the check in and check out were simple. I would definitely stay at this residence again!

My only suggestion would be to change the pillows as they were very thin and a bit worn out. The other very minor thing is that keys are hotel type keys that you have to put in to use the light which make them easy to forget inside and since there is not always someone at the reception it can be an issue if you lock yourself out.

Wonderful place to stay for a family with private bedrooms and good common area with kitchen. The weather was not great during part of our stay and it was great to have a nice place to just relax while on holiday (imagine that!)

Amazing

Wow the rooms were beautiful. Exceptionally clean and all very new. The location to town centre and lifts made it easy to get around and enjoy this beautiful region. Ortisei is very convenient and has lifts to both Alpe di Siusi and Seceda within walking distance of the stay. Secure Undercover parking. We absolutely loved staying here. I would highly recommend.

Excellent apartment as a base for exploring Ortisei.

This property is a perfect location. The apartment was clean, functional and just what we needed. We were warmly welcomed. We were also able to store our bags for a couple of days. Excellent parking garage which provide safe storage. I would fully recommend this property, we loved it.

Large rooms

Very Uncomfortable beds. Owner refused to give us extra pillowcases. Said we were 2 people so only 2 pillows. Even though we were paying for a TWO bedroom. No one ever at desk to answer questions. In general it felt like they just didn’t care about our comfort.

Beautiful, characteristic, quiet lodging with an easy walk to town.

Super clean, quiet, very well furnished, and plenty of room for a family to spread out. The kitchen was well equipped, provided coffee, and I enjoyed having the good sized table for meals. Beds were comfortable and the showers worked well. The views from the windows were amazing and I loved how much the windows opened. We also liked having access to the garden, looking at the chickens and kitties, and walking easily to town. We had a reservation mix up that we all figured out and the owner was very kind for our stay.

These are quibbles but we were there at a hot time, and fans for the bedrooms would have been helpful. A few floor lamps would be helpful as the lighting is a little dim in the evening in the main living room.

Spacious underground garage for cars. Check in times strict but can store luggage before check in and can leave car in garage after check out.

Good potential place with some cons

Clean and comfortable apartment, suitable for those who come to travel in the area

We encountered several things that made our experience less than good. First, there was an incident where we returned from a trip at 10 pm and there was no hot water and the hostess did not offer an alternative option. Second, there were several basic things that were missing and the hostess told us that she did not provide them, such as toilet paper, cleaning supplies, and so on. In my opinion, the best recommendation for the owner of the accommodation is to change her approach on these issues a little.

Fairytale stay

We had the most amazing stay at Residence Magdalena. The apartment is spacious, equipped with everything you need and a balcony with the most amazing view! Ms Carolina is the kindest host, she has treated us with so much care, thank you Carolina! The location is perfect, walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, cable cars. There is a laundry room as well which is so convenient. If you go to Ortisei, this is definitely the place to stay! We loved it!

Dishonest

We can not say properly, as we were Not accepted to stay in the hotel, which did not honor the tariff published at booking.com.

The hotel was not honest in honoring the rate they published on booking.com, even though it was their mistake. The rate paid was non-refundable. We had to spend time and go to the hotel in person to get a refund, at which point they also denied my wife access to the hotel bathroom. A very rude attitude.

Liked everything about this property! Communication was easy with the lady boss before our arrival. Loved the location and the unit. Beds were comfortable. Toilet was spacious and clean. Kitchen is very well equipped. Enjoyed our stay thoroughly here!

We truly enjoyed staying here. The property is new, modern, well equipped, convenient underground parking, beautiful territory, walking distance to the village center and supermarket, and to start of lots of hikes.

Cozy, beautiful, welcoming, convenient.

This was our best stay during a three-week trip to Italy. The host is a second-generation innkeeper who lives in the building, a welcome relief from dealing with lockboxes and text message. Carolina was lovely, warm and welcoming and gave us many good tips for directions, hiking and food. As I recall the house has been in her family a couple of generations. They took advantage of early Covid era by doing a renovation and expansion. The apartment itself is stylishly redone with a really nice kitchenette, sitting area, and two balconies with amazing views. The yard is large with raised-bed vegetable and flower gardens, chickens, etc. We got a kick out of watching Carolina's son scoot around the yard on a toy ATV while clutching a fat rooster. You can walk to central Ortisei in about five minutes and only a few minutes more to the gondolas and a funicular. In three days we did three totally different hikes and a mountain bike ride.

The apartment was fabulous, Christina went out of her way to greet us even tho we were delayed several hours. We were over the moon when we saw our apartment, it exceeded our expectations. It was incredibly clean and modern, with fully functioning kitchen and bathroom with essentials like microwave dishwasher and hairdryer. The 180 degree tv that you can rotate from the living room to the bed was a lovely surprise. We even had a ski store room with a boot rack to keep our ski boots warm and dry overnight. When we come back next year we’ll definitely be staying here again! It was so central - 2 minutes walk to the village and 7 minute walk to the beginning of the ski lift in the town. We rented our skis from Carlos just beside the ski lift. Thank you for our amazing stay!
