Great location in the centre of town and easy to walk to the ski lifts with easy access to the surrounding areas. Very clean and staff were very welcoming. The rooms were lovely and warm and a wonderful breakfast was provided with healthy choices. Staff were very helpful to assist with transport to our next location. Thank you.

Best place to stay for beginner skier!

Spacious standard double room, comfortable bed and large bathroom area. We enjoyed the breakfast the most! In addition, the hotel location is perfect and central of everything - shopping, cafe, ski schools, rental equipment, and ski cables. We drove, so there is a private parking for us for eur7/day. Perfect for us!!

I looove my room! It was on the 3rd floor facing the cable car route to Alpe De Suissi! It was very clean, cozy and comfortable. The staff were amazing, very helpful and friendly. I love the complimentary breakfast in the morning too!

Charming small hotel close to everything

Both the breakfast selections and the location were excellent

In Europe the twin beds are often pushed together to form a king bed and my friend and I have to rearrange the furniture to separate the beds.

A perfect base in Ortisei with friendly staff, comfy rooms, and great views

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Maria in Ortisei. The hotel was easy to find with good directions via email, and parking at the back was convenient. The man at check-in was friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless, traditional, and comfortable, with a lovely balcony full of flowers overlooking the square — perfect for people watching and enjoying the views. The bed was comfy, the bathroom clean with fresh towels and hot water, and the room was quiet at night. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of continental options plus hot dishes like eggs, and the staff kept everything topped up. The location was perfect, right in the centre and close to the gondolas for exploring the Dolomites. A great base with warm service and a hearty breakfast — highly recommend and would happily return.

Perfect location in the most charming town

This town is SO unbelievably charming! Truly, favorite town/city we stopped in across 4 countries and several weeks traveling. Hotel Maria is incredibly convenient location-wise and they do have a parking garage (costs extra) but directly attached to the hotel, which made it very easy to get around. The breakfast was also lovely and they actually give you access to a local pool/spa for free, which was a fun surprise! (Just don't forget towels like we did or you'll have to pay a few euros for them)

Hotel Maria was located in the Piazza S Antonio, which is the center of Ortisei. It was two mins from the bus depot, and there was fresh water fountain in the middle of the piazza so we didn’t have to buy bottled water. Hotel Maria’s staff were warm and friendly, and their breakfast was nice and fresh. I enjoyed smoked salmon croissant sandwich every morning along with fresh fruit and cafe macchiato. The hotel provided a free pass to the public transportation, so we didn’t have to pay for the bus between Bolzano and Ortisei, as well as towns nearby. That pass also allowed us to use a swimming pool/sauna facility called “Piscina Mar Dolomit.” The town hosted a live music concert at the piazza, which was very enjoyable, too.

Beautiful hotel, location was right in the main square. The view from our balcony was lovely. Spotless rooms, and great breakfast. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Unseasonably heat in June made the room very hot, most all hotels in Ortisei do not have ac. Fans could have made a difference, but were not available. We had to leave the windows open thru the night to get any relief. Problem, being, people in the square below, were noisy until 2 am and then starting in the early am, loud trucks. Hard to sleep.

Extremely professional and helpful staff since the beginning. They emailed me the guest pass transportation registration link 2 weeks before the trip for my better planning and anticipation. Andreas even helped fixing issue for my next hotel! As for the hotel itself, superb location at the centre of everything; nice room and clean. Welcoming staff at breakfast. If I am visiting again, I will definitely come back!

Warm hospitality at this lovely small hotel

Delightful small hotel very conveniently located right in the center of Ortisei (especially good for those traveling by public transport as the main bus stop was a 3-minute walk from the hotel). Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My room overlooked the main street, but was surprisingly not noisy at all. Very nice breakfast buffet available. Good value for money.

Exceptional stay: prime location, friendly staff, quality facilities.

We loved the hotel’s central location, which made it easy to explore everything nearby. The guest pass made it easy to see nearby locations via bus such as Col Raiser chairlift & the St John’s church. Walking distance to restaurants & supermarkets, and to both Alpi de Susi (exceptional! we got the one way up and walked back down) & Seceda (breathtaking!). The staff were always incredibly warm, welcoming, and ready to help with anything we needed. The facilities were modern, clean, and made our stay extra comfortable with housekeeping changing towels etc. frequently. The buffet breakfast was also high quality & generous servings.
