Look no further 10/10 RECOMMEND!

LOVED all of it. From check-in, to aperitifs, to dinner (AMAZING), to the sauna and eucalyptus shower after a long hike (make time for it), this place was wonderful. I highly recommend anyone to stay (especially couples). The walk from the main touristy area to the hotel is no more than 10 minutes. In a very quiet area with wonderful views from the room. Service was extremely friendly and attentive. Hint: make friends with the bartender and do dinner at the hotel more than just one night. Would 10/10 stay again!!

Location, location! This is a perfect location to walk to center of town, gondolas or funicular!!

Location was perfect. Stayed there for 7 days and didn't have to take the car out. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. The staff was amazing, especially Matteo, who answered all of our questions and was very accommodating. I would definitely recommend staying here.

There wasn't enough diversity in the menu options for dinner. My wife and I are picky eaters so it could be just us! If I had to make any comments about this hotel that I would have liked different is the menu.

This is an exceptional hotel with gourmet food and helpful staff.

The friendly staff treat their guests as family. Everyone is so helpful, genuinely welcoming and eager to insure an exceptional vacation for all the guests.

The views from the hotel are spectacular. Breakfasts and dinners are varied, delicious and beautifully presented. Our room was large, clean and extremely comfortable. I wouldn’t change anything.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful. The condition of everything was excellent as were the facilities Every member of staff was very alert polite and wanted to help. The restaurant was excellent too, the quality of the food combined with the friendly service made both breakfast & evening meals a real treat.

Feedback on Our Horrible Stay at The Grones Hotel

HORRIBLE AND NOT RECOMMENDED

I would like to share feedback regarding our recent stay at The Grones Hotel, where my family and I spent three nights. Unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing for several reasons: • Unprofessional Conduct: The hotel management and staff demonstrated rude and unwelcoming behavior throughout our stay. • Poor Guest Treatment: We observed a generally cheap and dismissive attitude in how guests were treated. This was especially evident when the hotel insisted on retrieving the reusable plastic room keys upon checkout in an unnecessarily strict manner. • Discriminatory Attitude: We felt that the staff’s behavior was marked by stereotyping and a lack of cultural sensitivity, which made us feel unwelcome. • Breakfast Experience: The breakfast offering was limited both in quantity and variety, and felt inadequate for a hotel of this category. • Rigid Dining Policies: Guests were not given the freedom to choose their seating during meals; instead, seating was pre-assigned, limiting comfort and flexibility. • Unresponsive Front Desk: Repeated attempts to reach the reception via phone were unsuccessful, indicating a lack of attentiveness to guest needs. Overall, this was a regrettable experience that did not reflect the value we paid for, and we hope that future guests are treated with greater respect and professionalism.

Hands down the best hotel experience I have ever had. Absolutely everything exceeded my expectations. From location, to Room, to friendly and efficient staff. And dinner/breakfast was just unbelievable.

This is the hotel to stay in if you are going to Ortisei.

A lovely hotel which is fastidiously maintained and run by amazing staff. Lovely views. The swimming pool and saunas provide welcome relaxation after a hard days skiing. The hotel shuttle service to and from the ski lifts gets you on the piste speedily.

one of the best ski hotel hotel that i ever stayed , the room os grat with a perfect view tô the mountain. the staff was very kind to us. and the food in the hotel was perfect and very good price. the hotel have very Nice spa with 3 saunas.

the jacuzzi after we ski was not very hot as we are expecting. the water was ok not cold but not hot, beside that the hotel is perfect , for sure we will return.

Such a lovely hotel 5 minutes walking from the town centre. The staff were super friendly, the spa area is nice with great views over the mountains and 3 saunas. The breakfast is very good! I would certainly return!

Tudo perfeito! A equipe super atenciosa, bem preparada e simpática. As proprietárias sempre presentes, garantindo uma boa estadia e dando um toque familiar, mesmo num hotel 4 estrelas. O restaurante foi um ponto fortíssimo, recomendo jantar no hotel. O chefe é um gênio e o menu varia diariamente, sendo uma ótima oportunidade de provas culinária local.
