Damara Lembongan is great for the price - try it yourself and see! We will be back!

Location was great, room was comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast was included (3 options to choose from), staff were helpful in organising activities for us.

Hot water did not work in our room but wasn’t an issue for us as days were warm. Could have mentioned to staff but didn’t.

Demara a lovely location and quiet

The Demara was a lovely presented resort, quiet and private, the gardens were lovely and our little Joglo was gorgeous. Well kept and spacious, the bedding was well present ed with the little animal shapes and there was enough privacy. The outdoor bathroom was nice but it needed a couple more stepping stones as not enough to stand on properly. The pool was clean and maintained and there were plenty of pool lounges. When we stayed we were the only ones there for 4 days it was very quiet.

There were a few things we would like to mention, even though we had a lovely stay, more of a way of improvement. We had to ask for fresh bathroom towels, after 4 days, the bathroom didn’t seem to be cleaned during our time. The rooms are not cleaned until late in the afternoon which was not the best as we would be out most of the day, yet no one else was there. The reception is very grubby, the front desk especially, the fridge to purchase drinks wasn’t well stocked and looked dirty. When you would want help with something, there was no one around, they would be sleeping or watching tv in one of the spare rooms or on the floor behind the front desk Breakfast very basic and if you don’t like eggs then not much to chose from. Maybe a couple more choices and to have your tea and coffee made would be nice, rather than helping yourself at the urn. We ate it 3 mornings but decided to eat else where after that (we stayed 7 nights) as we were a bit bored with the choice. The public toilets at the restaurant area also had no toilet paper and the buttons on the system broken. There could be a bit of music in the background playing that would be nice. There was no info re the property or surrounding areas in the rooms in a welcome pack. It was a real shame as the resort is beautiful, it just misses that extra touch. It is very well priced and you do pay for what you get but the accommodation is beautiful so it’s great value just needs some tlc and maybe some female staff as it just needs that extra touch. The staff were lovely when we saw them.

Comfortable stay for a week with our family but not sure if I’d stay again unless I had some reassurance that some money

Very conveniently located between mushroom and tamarind bays. Comfortable villas in nice surroundings.

Damara like many properties in Bali/Lembongan is ageing. A few simple fixes such as providing soap bottles that work, bathroom fitting replacement and repairing exposed electrical wiring in the pool would help overall impressions. Also it was apparent that they were short on towels as you had to ask for pool towels and replacement room towels. Staff were polite but not overly enthusiastic.

Room was comfortable. Pool and surrounds refreshing. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple but appetizing and delivered with a smile. We had to reduce our booking by one night and our fee was accordingly reduced - no fuss.

The serenity and intimacy of the resort was the highlight of our stay, in a quiet location close to the shops and beach, and the local warungs. The staff were exceptional - very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much for them. We looked around at other resorts but found this to be value for money and we will definitely be staying here again.

Perfect 5 day stay at Damara Lembongan

Loved everything about Damara Lembongan. The team are so friendly and treat you like family, such kind amazing people. The accomodation was great, pool is a good size and sparkling clean. A few options for breakfast, cooked for you fresh and good to get your day started. A quick walk down to the beach at Mushroom Bay and surrounded by lots of dining options and massage spa.

Really enjoyed

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The groundskeeper maintained the garden beautifully. *BONUS* Pub next door and amazing massage venue. Definitely will be back again

So good comfy beds the music from pub stops at a decent hour.

So close to the best part of Lembongan - when you are at Sanur call hotel to organise transfer from beach. can walk to a different beach easily. The hotel answers phone calls only no phone messages. Great deep pool and safe kiddy pool too. Lg restaurant is great too.

Value for money

Beautiful clean rooms. The pool was large and hsf plenty of lounge chairs. Resort was clean and the people working there were extremely friendly and helpful. Walking distance to mushroom beach and all the shops and restaurants. Very quite and relaxed atmosphere Highly recommend great value for money.

Would be good to have an Indonesian dish on the breakfast menu. Nasi or Mie Goreng

Beautiful oasis

Beautiful clean friendly resort. Felt like staying with family. Even the other guests were super relaxed and friendly. Great pool comfy beds and great aircon. Very quite location. Lots of local food close by.

Beautiful place with friendly staff

Extremely smiling and friendly staff. We had some issues with the hot water and aircondition, but they were super fast and helpful to fix it. We also rented scooters from them, and they found suitable helmets for us, which we found important, safety first you know. Very close to mushroom beach, which was beautiful.

Value for money

Pool was clean and deep (shallow section for kids). No restriction on pool open or close, could swim when we wanted. Room clean, open air bathroom clean. We felt it was good value for money, located at the back of Lgood so close to good eateries, and lgood's coffee shop only a very short walk. People running the place were amiable and went out of their way to fix minor things we encountered, as is common with Balinese hospitality.

Poor lighting in room. tv not working but there was DVD (didn't seem to have antenna cable) . breakfast was basic, eggs toast marmalade and breakfast is only meal provided, no longer lunch and dinner options. no kettle in room. Basic accommodation for basic price. No

Excellent location, next to a really nice restaurant (LGGood) with live music every night. All the rooms face the pool and you can enjoy a drink on your own terrace overlooking the pool. Really friendly staff, simple breakfast.

Fancy cottages, beautiful babycot, the people werw very friendly and we booked extra night.

The location was very central. yet the place was quiet at night. the wide set up of the bungalows we loved. The pool is nice. The breakfast simple but it is fine. coffee and eggs any style and some fruit on some days. some reviews write about the life music at night. we enjoyed this. it was nice ‘table’ music and it stopped between 22/23 at night.

Staff were nice and helpful, good location. 5 minute walk to Mushroom Beach and a 15 minute walk to Dream Beach. The pool was nice to sit around and warm.
