Absolute paradise!

We only spent 2 nights out of our 2 week stay at Villa Shambala and honestly it was our biggest regret. Wish we'd had more time, it was so hard to leave!I cannot recommend this place enough, from the staff, cleanliness, views and overall peacefulness of this villa, you will not go wrong. Definitely worth every cent. There is a gorgeous pool,good aircons and really good ceiling fans in the ensuite bedrooms,good ceiling fans in the living area as well to curb the heat and keep the mozzies away. The villa is on an actual cliff so the views are completely like nothing you will ever experience. Just bring along enough cash for taxi rides and bikes or tipping

Nothing short of perfect!

It was in a beautiful location, beautifully furnished, and provided everything we needed. That cliffside view of the water is unbeatable, and we saw dolphins every day! Staff were incredibly helpful and nice. It’s a short walk to Mushroom Bay, which has plenty of food options right along the water, so easy to get to and from the villa. Thank you so much for providing us an amazing stay!

The villa was the perfect location to drop out of the world . It was a small piece of paradise .

The location is fantastic . Loved the cliff edge location and the tranquility . It was also a well appointed villa . The plunge pool was just right . Vika was incredibly helpful . Sunsets were very special as were the sightings of dolphins and mantarays.

It is a shame that another property nearby has the same name. Made taxi pick up so times difficult

Fantastic villa in a great quiet location

Stunning cliff top villa, the staff were absolutely lovely and happily organised scooters for us to travel around the islands on. Property was immaculate, fridge was full of cold drinks at convenience store prices. Sitting in the pool watching the sunset was brilliant and we even got treated to dolphins swimming past the villa on our second day!

Loved the island and overall enjoyed our stay but were disappointed in the standard of our accomodation choice.

Villa is on cliff top and the view over the ocean is stunning. Property is off the beaten track and somewhat isolated which suited us. We had scooters so being away from everything was not a problem and we enjoyed the solitude. Staff organised scooters at great price. Villa was functional.

Villa is poorly maintained. Towel rack kept falling off the wall. Gate lock fell off the wall so we couldn’t lock gate. Out door shower is in unusable as the water shoots out rust holes in the top, which was a pain as we often came home sandy. There is a big grotty stain ingrained in the tiles in kitchen near fridge. Shower wouldn’t regulate. First day was so hot we couldn’t stay under shower. We reached out to owner and it was adjusted so we only had cold water. Sheets and bedding was not washed / replaced in two week stay. Stay cost $4130 AUD for two weeks which was comparatively overpriced for the standard of accomodation. Paid for the view.

Serenity and privacy

Other than the perfect view, the incredible ocen life, dolphins on and off all day, our 1st day we were welcomed by manta ray and turtle occasionally. Zenka(hope it's spelt correctly) was so helpful abd considerate, nothing was too hard or difficult. She took exceptional care of us!! The facilities were perfect, the bed was really comfy. We enjoyed the isolation of the villa and most restaurants deliver or provide pick up and return. We did hire a bike, which is helpful for grabbing bits and pieces or going on adventures around the island.

Fantastic Location directly on the ocean

super nice ocean front, fantastic sunset in front of you, fridge is full of beverages incl beer which you can buy for a decent price, Mushroom Bay with plenty of restaurants max 10min by foot

some little things which don’t deserve a 10, but therefore only a 9 in total like outdated bathrooms, half broken outdoor shower, sound boxes which do not work and some smaller things which could be updated to make this Villa becoming a 10

The location of the villa on the booking.com map does not match the real location on the villa. It is not close to the beach as indicated, it is 30 metres from a cliff which overlooks the ocean, but you cannot access the beach from here. It is quite a walk to Mushroom bay along a rocky track , maybe 400m or 3-4 mins on a motorbike

A hidden gem

Amazing peaceful place in the middle of a calm south Asian waters. If you are looking for a high quality place surrounded by sea, that’s your place. Dive, snorkel, massage or just relax in front of stunning ocean views with sunset and sunrise too. This luxury villa has everything that you can need. Please see my photos attached. We stayed long and we really loved it. I live in Bali for more than 10 years and we always visit villas in different spots around Bali. This villa make a difference. Ita, the staff, is a super staff doing everything for you with just an idea on mind: your maximum comfortability. Clean towels and sheets every time, same for the swimming pool and villa. Fully recommended

Just 2 things : 1. the villa is called Shambala like other villa near by there is other with the same name. It is confused when you try to find your villa. 2. There is not breakfast provided but you have a full kitchen to cook, and Ita will help you for delivering food from plenty of restaurants near by. (note: DO NOT eat in the restaurant villa Belba,it’s the villa close to our villa but the products cooked were rotten :(
