Superb place - best hotel in the island

The best place to stay in Nusa Penida. The host greeted us from the start and treated us superb even knew how to interact with our small children whilst being respectful. The food from the restaurant is very yummy and fairly priced. The place is so gorgeous with amazing views. Could not feel more welcomed!

Nothing everything was perfect. Next time in the island we will be returning to this hotel. Thank you very much

Great but not for kids

The staff was great really friendly and helpful. Even left us a nice honeymoon welcome. The location was good not too far from the harbour and really close to crystal beach.

Not suitable for a family with young children. Stairs up to the top were too steep and had a big gap. We ended up sleeping with both kids downstairs

Place where you can relax and enjoy!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Right the moment you get there you star to feel calm and peacefull. The staff was amazing, the bungalows were lovely, reastaurant was good. Really recomend going there if visiting Nusa Penida!!

Great staff Nice pool Calm and comfy Massage on-site (one of the best Balinese massage - ask for Rita) The staff helped us to book snorkeling trip Very nice food, be it local but also occidental, always handmade and fresh and quick Lots of french books for the kids There is no extra fee for payment with credit card, not so often the case in Indonesia! We also saw the monkeys - the kids loved it

Location. The concept of the upstairs space. The landscaping.

Toilet door with full glass and non-functional curtain. Breakfast choices and conditions of choosing only one type of dish especially when kids are involved and the travelers are from abroad. Normally we have been given a good buffet for breakfast on all our travels. Sharp nails on a broken railing outside the house. Absence of basic toiletries, especially for travelers.

Very good place. The staff is nice and helpful. You can find some food at the resto. They cook very quickly. We stayed at bungalow. It is quite and spacy.

The humidity was high when we stayed there. Some towels were not dry. But it is because of the weather conditiins.

Rooms where clean enough

We got a bungalow down at the back, it is a bit of a walk to get down there. No real view from there. We had expected something on flat ground and that we would have been walking out beside the pool. Steps had no lights on some evenings, so difficult to navigate down the steps carefully. WiFi isn't great in general. Hotel sorted us with scooter, you could see they wernt well maintained or looked after. Baldy tyres, felt like bearings gone on front too. Ended up with a flat tyre on side of the road for 2.5 hours. Hotel refunded me the cost of the tyre, but still took a good few daylight hours out of our few days we had there. Lots of bugs on the bed, but expected where we are.

Superbly friendly and warm staff! My kids loved the resort dog, Nikita, and the 2 cats at the resort restaurant. Despite the rustic feel of the bungalow, it allowed us to disconnect from the screen and tech, connect with nature and reconnect with each other.

Some bugs and mosquitoes in the bungalow. But I supposed that's part and parcel of Bali!

The bungalow was lovely, located in the middle of de jungle. the area was super relaxing. The restaurant have a terrace facing the jungle and having breakfast there with the sunrise was just perfect! The staff was friendly.

Impeccable Service!

The service of MS Magali and her staff were outstanding and they were helpful, polite and efficient. They even helped us with the island tours for the next two days. Although the tours required lots of walking and climbing stairs, we thoroughly enjoyed it. The scenery is amazing! Atuh beach (amazing views and lovely swim in the strong waves), Kelingking (t-rex - great view), Treehouse (Rumah Pohon - must to go all the way to the top, which is after the tree house for an amazing scene! ), Tembeling Beach, Natural Pool and Forest (Need trekking or take the motorcycle for 50k RP each, but nice cooling spring pool. Beach is average, there were too many locals during our visits in the morning). Angel’s Billabong and Broken beach are just beside each other and you can have some stunning photos taken here! Teletubbie Hill Viewpoint didn't have the kind of impact, even to our kids, 5 & 14. It's just a view point overlooking hills. The air was cool though. The swimming is small but relaxing and nice after a hot excursion in the seas. The food at the restaurant was good. The free breakfast is hearty and prepared upon order. There is a simple grocery store just in front of the resort. 😉

We booked the family bungalow for 2 adults and 2 children. Upon check in the odour wasn't pleasant, like urine. Toilet was single and small. However, upon approaching the resort's manager, MS Magali, we are informed that the smell was caused by the roof's material when it rains. We requested for a change of room, which required a little bit of walking the stairs. MS Magali gave us two units of triplets rooms (rooms 15/16) which had two bath rooms and we're really nice, clean, quite and a great view of nature! I guess we were in luck due to the low occupancy and the covid-19 situation around the world. The driver (Mr Gede) that took us on the two days tour of the Nusa Paneda was helpful. However, we didn't like how he used his personal smart phone to take pictures of my family and especially my youngest daughter and wife. He asked for my mobile number at the end of the tour and I was thinking he would send the pictures to me. However he didn't and worst, his profile picture appear to be some Caucasian woman that may be his client. This is not professional. He seemed to be over zealous but carrying my 5 yr old daughter on one arm, up the steep and rather dangerous steps at Atuh beach was nerve racking. The forest restaurant would be better if there are electric fans installed for a cooler dining experience.... Plus to chase of the loads of flies and mosquitoes.

Dès notre arrivée, nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison dans ce petit coin de paradis, à la fois paisible, chaleureux et parfaitement entretenu. Les bungalows sont confortables, propres et entourés d’un cadre vraiment relaxant — l’endroit idéal pour déconnecter et profiter pleinement. Un immense merci à Erwan pour son accueil exceptionnel. Sa gentillesse, sa disponibilité et ses précieux conseils ont vraiment fait la différence. On sent qu’il met du cœur à créer une belle expérience pour ses hôtes, et ça se ressent dans chaque détail. Et que dire de Nia 🥹 Toujours souriante, attentionnée et pleine de bonne humeur du matin au soir. Son service a été irréprochable tout au long du séjour, et sa joie de vivre est communicative. Elle a largement contribué à rendre notre séjour encore plus spécial. Nous repartons avec de super souvenirs et une seule envie : revenir ! Merci encore à toute l’équipe du Namaste Bungalow pour cette magnifique parenthèse.

Bel endroit très bien entretenue et calme. Très bien situé. Hôte flexible et personnel très accueillant, merci pour le surclassement ! Le restaurant est très bon. On a apprécié que l'hôtel fasse vivre une bonne partie du village et on sent que tout le monde aime travailler ici !

Super verblijf gehad. Vriendelijk personeel, en je kan via hun activiteiten boeken in de omgeving. Handdoeken beschikbaar bij het zwembad. Heerlijk ontbijt en je kunt lekker eten in het restaurant, met prachtig uitzicht. Zeker een aanrader!

un séjour incroyable ! Le personnel est adorable, ils mettent tout en œuvre pour qu’on se sente bien, et que l’on passe un super séjour. J’ai pu avoir un chauffeur scooter privé pour visiter une partie de l’île. Ils m’ont organisé mon transfert pour aller à Nusa Lembongan. La gérante est française, elle est d’une aide précieuse pour améliorer notre séjour à Nusa Penida. La chambre est propre, ainsi que la piscine. Le restaurant est bon, avec des plats indonésiens mais également européens. Bref je recommande à 1000%

Sérénité et personnel agréable

Très joli cadre et bungalows avec une belle piscine et un restaurant avec belle terrasse. Également possibilité de massage sur place. La propriétaire Sarah est française et a été de très bons conseils et nous a organisé nos 2 jours sur Nusa avec un chauffeur sympa. Le personnel est très gentil et serviable. Encore merci !

Le ménage n’a pas été fait, mais sûrement une incompréhension et n’avons pas insisté car nous ne restions que 3 nuits.

Logement mitoyen avec un autre qui est juste séparé par une porte, donc assez bruyant. Impossible d'avoir de l'eau chaude malgré les explications. Pas très bonne odeur dans la salle de bains. Chambre un peu vétuste et pas très bien entretenue

Proximité d’un warung sympa (Tat’s food). Une jeune femme a l’accueil.

On entend ce qui se passe dans les bungalows à proximité, le personnel pousse à la consommation (sauf une charmante jeune femme qui elle, a été parfaite), trop cher pour les prestations proposées (mais c’est le cas partout à Nusa Penida), localisation pas très intéressante pour visiter l’île.

El alojamiento está genial, tiene piscina y jardín bonito. El personal es servicial.

Una de las cosas que menos nos gustó, es que solicitamos un driver o taxi para ir al puerto, y el driver que vino fue uno cualquiera al que llamaron, nos dejó en un puerto diferente y nos llevó a comprar directamente los tickets del barco de su empresa. Tuvimos que coger finalmente otros servicios para ir al puerto correcto y que no nos timaran. Deberían tener un driver seguro que no time a la gente. La casita que nos asignaron estaba muy abajo de una colina, lo cual no sabíamos. No sería apta para todas las personas. En general no hay muchos servicios alrededor, algún Warung y poco más al que puedes ir andando.

Als ik echt iets moet Verzinnen is het dat de huisjes wat gehorig waren. Zelf alleen geen echte hinder van ondervonden. Want er waren voornamelijk gezinnetjes of stellen dus geen feestende jongelui
