Convenient to Crystal Bay

The staff were pleasant and helpful. The location was handy to Crystal Bay. Locals and shopkeepers all friendly.

Thought the breakfast was pretty average, I've obviously been spoilt as I thought we would have fresh fruit, fruit juice (not cordial) and jam at least in a container rather than in plastic. Menus were tattered and looked dirty. Shower screen cracked and dirty. Kettle wouldn't turn off once plugged in.

Excellent stay to enjoy crystal bay

The staff was very kind and accommodating. The public pool was also well maintained. The bed was extremely comfortable for my tastes. The bungalows are located very close to Crystal bay, and are probably the best stay if you wish to spend a full day at the beach. We recommend to take the short hike to Pandan beach from crystal bay to avoid the crowds.

Nusa Penida is not serviced by Grab or Gojek, so getting a taxi to the hotel was not easy when getting off the boat. There was also a 25000 IDR entry fee to the island per adult. It would be very helpful to receive information on such things from the stuff beforehand to plan accordingly. Other than these minor gripes about the island itself, the bungalows were quite good. The only real complaint we have was that some of the towels we received were cleaned but a bit stained.

Lovely huts in the middle of the jungle

The room was very clean and comfortable with a lovely outdoor shower. Staff were very nice and the place is very close to crystal bay which is convenient. Breakfast was nice.

Other than crystal bay, to get anywhere on the island you have to use a scooter (taxi is expensive) but I think that’s the case for most places on the island. The surrounding area of the bungalows was a bit dirty

Quaint stay, great for a quick stay if you’re wanting to do Crystal beach all day

Walking distance to Crystal beach and the dinner was delicious .. it was one person working in a small kitchen so it was as if we were having a home made Indonesian meal.

Similar to many places in Nusa it’s very quiet in the middle of no where so really nothing to do after the sun is down and you’ve had dinner

More modern bungalows with nice pool near Crystal Beach

Bungalows were basic but better than a lot we have stayed in over the past 2 months in Indonesia as they are not dated. After the pool man attended, the water was lovely and fresh and the area pleasant. Few mins walk through forest and animals to the basic beach. Food was nice.

Manning reception needs a bit more detail and communication. A lick of paint at reception would make your place much more welcoming. And art in the rooms. This would up the standard.

The location was 3 mins away from crystal beach. The room was nice with air condition. The food was really good. It had vegetarian options.

The bathroom which was an open shower which was very nice. But there were stones on the floor that probably wasn't Clean from ages. Just very unhygienic!

Perfect stay

We were greeted with a welcome drink and a smile :) The bungalows have a charming style, it's clean and the bed is comfortable. The swimming pool is perfect after a day at Crystal bay which is only a few minutes walk away. The manager is accommodating, professional and friendly. I recommend 100%

Cozy bungalows on one of the nicest spots on the island near Crystal Bay.

Amazing location with Crystal Bay within walking distance in a quiet area. The bay is great for snorkeling, and can definitely recommend having dinner on the beach while watching the sunset. The bungalows itself are very cozy with a nice outdoor shower and cleaned every day.

The place is owned by two different owners, which means we had breakfast at the wrong place on the same property. A bit confusing, they could’ve told when we checked in.

Dreamy experience!!!

Bale Lumbung was an absolute dream!! My partner and I loved staying in the jungle it was very peaceful and calming. The room was spacious and always clean with fresh bedding and towels provided everyday- the outdoor shower was amazing!! The pool was perfect with fantastic views of the jungle all around. The breakfast included was perfect and the food throughout the day was great. The staff here were superb they couldn't do enough for us my partner suffered with tooth ache one of the staff travelled to the nearest pharmacy for us and got us medication needed. We were able to book taxis with the staff. We also booked the ferry and a taxi to the airport. We both fell in Love with place and we are planning to return again as soon as possible !!

Wonderful Rooms, close to beach

The rooms are beautiful, the staff was very helpful organizing transport and motorbike rental. There are not a lot of restaurant options, as it's located in quite a remote area, but their own restaurant has good dinner options available. It's only a short 5 minute walk to the beach where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset every night.

It's located in a small remote village, with hens and lots of other animals around, which can get a bit noisy at nights.

It's a little far to drive to everything else than Crystal beach. The neighbor has a rooster that makes a lots of noise all night. Can also hear all the bubgalow neighbours talking as the bungalows aren't very isolated.

Great place to stay !

We really enjoyed our stay here, I chose this place because I wanted a quiet and peaceful location. It's down the hill, close to the beach within a walking distance. The beach of Crystal Bay is great with many warungs, sunbeds, you can rent snorkeling and of course watch the beautiful sunset. The room was clean and spacious, nice shower. The pool was just in front of our Bungalow, the restaurant serves good breakfast lunch and dinner. And, above all, the kindness of the team and their attentive service ! Thank you again for your welcoming, we'll come back !

Great Bungalows!

Beautiful bungalows located close to Crystal Bay! Rooms were beautiful and clean, personal friendly and always willing to help. Included breakfast is good, especially omellet! Pool area is beautiful! Very relaxing place. Beautiful mountain view.

Getting there can make you feel dizzy since roads are up a mountain and not that good, but drivers are used to this and will take you home safe! If you are in Bali, flies will always be a problem.

The bungalow was really nice - spacious room had everythyng needed, the bathroom was partially outside which made it quite pleasant. The hotel area is located in a quiet area, and it's close to the Crystal Bay, the walk takes around 10 minutes. The staff were friendly enough.

No hot shower in the bungalow. Wi-Fi was unstable. The restaurant area was full of flies so it was impossible to enjoy the meals. The meals themselves were quite mediocre.

Это была настоящая сказка! Джунгли, всё в зелени, собственное бунгало, прекрасный персонал, рядом пляж Кристал Бэй. Сотрудники внимательные, добрые, готовы помочь. Брали машину для поездок на килинкин бич, беладонс и т.д. прям в отеле, цена выше, но мы ничего не доплачивали, те, кто брал дешевле немного, потом платили за въезд и то на то и вышло. Когда приехали, шёл дождь, но мы с сыном купались в теплом бассейне. Бунгало очень удобное, у нас был первый номер от ресепшен, нам было комфортно, но если всё будет занято, думаю может быть будет шумно. Завтрак включён и это приятно. По меню яичница, оладьи , тосты, фрукты, кофе, сок, чай. Всё вкусно. Кричат петухи, рядом по дороге на пляж ходят свиньи, коровы и это тоже мило, как будто в деревне, нам это не мешало. Постельное бельё не белоснежное, но мы и не платили много за номер, соотношение цены и качества отличное! Спасибо работникам, хочется, чтобы гостей было как можно больше! Мы были в восторге от места, бунгало, видами Нусы Пениды. Хотим вернуться ещё, но уже не на 3, а на 5 ночей!

Tranquilidade a 2 passos de Crystal Bay

Zona calma, otima piscina, a 10min a pé de Crystal bay/2min de mota.

A estrada de acesso é incrivelmente íngreme com um piso não muito acessível (terra, pedras) no percurso final até ao hotel. De noite sem qualquer iluminação, fica complicado sair o que significa também ficar um pouco isolados naquela zona onde só há mesmo a praia, um restaurante e um mini mercado.

La gentilezza e l'accoglienza di tutto il personale, la vicinanza a 5 minuti a piedi dalla splendida Crystal Bay, la struttura e forma dei bungalows, i prezzi onesti dei servizi auto (200.000 idr x il porto e 1.000.000 idr x escursione scegliendo cosa vedere), la piscina, il costo del soggiorno, la vegetazione ben curata intorno alla struttura e soprattutto il fare la doccia guardati dalle stelle.

Le indico solo x dare qualche spunto di miglioramento. La tinteggiatura delle pareti da ridare, avere un gancio dove appendere l'asciugamano in doccia, mettere un piatto salato nel menù colazione, ad esempio toast con prosciutto e formaggio.
