A stunning property in a perfect location. Private beach with rolling waves. Good spot for fishing. Comfortable beds and good quality sheets. The pool is awesome over looking the ocean. Good breakfasts. Friendly staff. Awesome location.

Lovely spot, beautiful beach. Walking distance to devils tears. But poor wifi and restaurant

The beachfront setting was beautiful. The rooms were dark but comfortable and the beds were very comfortable.

The internet was TERRIBLE and there was no mobile coverage. This caused a very stressful first day as we needed to work but there was only (horrendous) wifi at reception where there were no desks. There was no wifi at the restaurant. The quality was so poor, we couldn't conduct calls or videos. The food at the restaurant was very poor. Tiny portions and just not nice food - soto ayam was too salty, pizza was undercooked dough, rendang was tiny and chewy, pasta carbonara had a weird sauce, nasi goreng had no flavour and egg was undercooked. We chose not to even eat the included breakfast. We stayed in a double room but I think the hot water system served both showers because the hot water ran out before all 4 of us could shower.

This is a little unassuming gem in Dream Beach, right on the Beach.Wonderful!

The location was second to none, you are on Dream Beach and can see Dream Beach as you are right there. The Breakfast was very good, as was all the food from the beach restaurant. Authentic Balinese food, and lots of European choices.

Situated on Dream Beach with an amazing view from the restaurant and access straight onto the beach. The staff are the best and so helpful. This is an escape and gets you back to enjoying the simple things in life. The pool is great with ocean views and it’s close to restaurants. We loved our stay and the team at D’byas. They arranged a great snorkelling trip for us too and we even got to release baby turtles!

Great position. Easy to get to other areas on bike or taxi writhing 5/10mins and a beautiful setting. Plenty of restaurants near by. The staff were lovely and it was very affordable

Rating 10/10. We loved everything about this stay. It’s not your 5 star hotel, but better; authentic, wholesome, and a place to connect you to the ocean. Your feet in the sand while eating breakfast kind of place. The staff were accomodating to all of our needs (and delayed flights). They were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable! Our ‘garden view’ villa still had partial views of the ocean and pool. The pool area was a great place to retreat to during the busy part of the day when the beach is busy. The pool was clean, and had a great view looking of the ocean. The food was cheap and delicious and beers were chilled. Location is 100/10! Situated right on Dream Beach, which is as the name suggests. Populated through the day, and quietly peaceful in the early mornings end evenings. Be careful swimming when it’s high tide and the waves are big. Only recommended if you’re a strong swimmer, otherwise swim when the tide is low. A walk up the short steps and you’ve got the famous Devils Tears lookout (highly recommended at sunset!). If you’re looking for a peaceful stay where it feels like time stops, then this is it. The worst part was leaving!

The villas are at a great location, a little away from crowded areas but still very close and easy to get around. The beach is right there, the pool is right there, the restaurant is right there. There are hammocks. It was a very relaxing and comfortable stay.

On the beach and the nicest beach on the island. The location is definitely the best thing about this place. The staff were very helpful. The restaurant doesn’t look as good as the fancy one next door, but we thought the food was better.

Great place to stay out of the main hustle and bustle. Loved it! The rooms are a good size, nice bathroom, bed was super comfy, lovely gardens and the pool area was so nice to relax around. The staff were really friendly and laid back and nothing was a problem. Breakfast was nice with great coffee, dinners were ok, but other options close by. The beach is beautiful and ok to swim if you are a confident swimmer but quite dangerous on the high tide with a big shore dump. Taxi will pick you up and drop you anywhere for $10 to $15 AUD

Not much to dislike! If I had to have a whinge.... when you use the water to shower or to flush the toilet you can hear the water pump which is fine during the day but slightly annoying at night

Staff were very nice , respectful, kind and helpful. That’s about it really. Just to be clear , This is a remote island , so expectations should not be much!

Again staff were the best thing there , everything else was rundown! We had a leak from the rainwater in our room. Our clothes got wet. Lighting inside the rooms was faint , I hit my toe a few times on the corners. The rooms had a bad smell The swimming pool was smelly as well. Food was average ( no varieties at all ) not even Cap or Latte ( just Balinese coffee). All photos on the internet are touched up and modified to look amazing , the truth isn’t like that! Sorry , but we won’t come back.

It was simple. The staff were helpful and welcoming - they were my favourite part of the stay.

The WiFi didn’t work and there was no cellular network. Also the beach was extremely rough. Couldn’t enter the water. The pool in the picture looks big but it’s actually tiny.

My sister and I loved everything about the wee resort. The staff were lovely, the bungalow was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely and fresh as were the meals on the menu. The oool was lovely and clean and the view to the beach was gorgeous. We loved our stay. Thank you for making our trip comfy and happy.

Great location, staff and manager Putu were great! Perfect island get away. Good food, beautiful ocean views, close to everything, cute huts but a decent size too. Helped us book tours, scooter, full of information. Good breakfast

A dream stay on Dream Beach

Our experience at D’Byas Dream Beach Club and Villa was delightful. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, suggesting fantastic island activities upon check-in and ensuring seamless arrival/departure transfers. The room we reserved was excellent, featuring a comfortable bed. They even offered beach towels and umbrellas. The proximity to the stunning Dream Beach, with open access, allowed us to enjoy breathtaking sunsets, especially at Devil’s Tears – the island's prime sunset-watching spot. Our overall stay was truly fantastic.

While not a major issue, for digital nomads, this might not be an ideal workspace due to occasionally weak and unreliable wifi. If you have your own internet source, it should work more effectively. Just a heads-up for future guests – everything else was excellent!

Great little find, but needs maintenance

We did love our stay due to the great location, friendly/helpful staff, comfy rooms, good a/c… BUT..

It’s in desperate need of maintenance. Bathroom taps blocked and spray everywhere, toilet seat broken, lights broken, garden up-kept, rubbish scattered around. Food is okay, nothing special. Cocktails made use flavoured ethanol :( Terrible

The location, the beach, the pool, but the thing that stands out the most is the hotel manager, he made our stay so easy and perfect, he organised tours, electric bikes, nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant was great and so affordable, would come back here in a heartbeat, highly recommend
