Tranquility

The girlfriend of the staff misbehaved and created scene and insulted customers though she is not supposed to be at the counter as non staff. They Don't even give tissue at dining after asking for. Table and chairs were under a layer of dust. No privacy at bathroom, its clear glass and no curtain. The road from crystal bay to hotel is very dark and risky. It's more than half kilometers. Staff's behaviour is unacceptable. They look like, guest has come to disturb them in their leisure as the owner is not present. They asked for cash during check in, not check - out. Kingdom of Mosquito.

Location

The room was very dirty, the mirror in the toilet and other things, you could tell that it was not cleaned for months.. the shampoo provided ended after 1st shower, and they never fill it up again.. the toals was never changed for 4 days.. the kitchen seen from the outside was a mess..

Quiet nature retreat easy walk to Crystal Bay

Quiet and peaceful... Rustic simple charm which is what I enjoy - rooms are very clean with comfy bed and good AC. Loctated within coconut trees in a nice little village... now with a little mini mart and some dining options. Two restaurants are now offering music which can feel a bit loud... but down the path other bungalows offer quiet dining space if prefer. Crystal Bay is really the only beach accessible without trekking down a cliff and it's easy 10 min flat walk from the bungalows. Beautiful beach with lounge chairs and on far right side is a lovely local restaurant few steps up with view. Other side is a slightly tricky trail taking you up and over to gorgeous secluded Pandan Beach. This area is great for relaxation and be off the traffic.

It would be nice if light switches coul be closer to the bed. Wish locals especially on Pandan Beach can help look after plastic rubbish. People are just throwing their aqua cups after prayers. I wish leaders can help educate more about plastic. Please also refrain from plastic straws in drinks. We have been trying to implement this for some time on Bali. Such a problem ruining so many beautiful places nature has blessed us with.

I’ll BE BACK!!!!

Huge bungalow with spacious bathroom and the balcony, just like on the picture. And all of that come with the testy breakfast. Stuff is very nice and friendly, they let me use their refrigerator since I didn’t have one in the room. There are no stores around, even the one which is there has nothing in, so if you come there be prepared, buy everything you need in advance. There are stores on the beach, which is not far away, but the road is not in a good shape specially after the rain, puddles all over. But even on the beach ,stores have not too much choices. There are couple restaurants ,not far from the property I eat there only once since the timing is not feet with my schedule. The Cristal beach is very nice, you can even snorkeling there, people come there from all over the island on the boats and you have it right there. Stuff cleaning the room every day ,you even don’t have to ask for it. All I can say: I’ll be back.

Wonder views

Great nice bungalow, clean and quiet with good equipment. The staff is willing to help and made you really feel welcoming. (Really important). Respond everything we need. Here can just order delivery food.(35000 a dish, ok price) Great farm field views and sunsets. If seeking for peace should just come. (Away from Ubud crowded but not too far) About 12 mins ride to Ubud center.

Not so convenient to everything, just a few grocerstores near by.

Nice spot for a relaxing stay close to Crystal Bay

Nice little wooden bungalow in a tropical green garden. Very nice owner and good small breakfast. Also slept very well in the comfortable bed. There was a mini mart next door and 2 restaurants down the street.

Very helpful on-site staff support. Nice garden and grounds. AC and apartment layout great!

They do not have option for an additional bed as per Booking info. Instead gave us just a sheet for our 4 year old. Bring earplugs or it’s chickens at 5am.

very poor service. we stayed two days at there and one day they did not prepared breakfast for us. i paid money included breakfast. bread and egg only for breakfast.

Disappointing

there are the people very nice and helpfull

the property is very basic, having its best timed passed long time ago and you can also hear animals living inside of cottage walls. Crystal bay is quite a dirty location, populated by influencers who try to get a nice picture of sunset or a temple in the bay. Local people put planty of tents there, selling bear and corn, which completely distroyed an atmosphere of the bay.

Wonderful

The accomodation is sooo beatiful and relaxing. The crystal bay and pandan beach are right at the corner. There are also some restaurants and a supermarket nearby, so you have everything you need. The owners are very very kind and friendly. They make you feel at home from the beginning and help you with organizing your daytrips. My wife and I had a scooter accident and the owners helped us so much with nursing the wounds. They were really caring. Just wonderful people.There is not one thing that I could complain about.

Great stay

I liked the place itself and the bangowla. It's a lovely basic room right in front of the garden, and the place was very cosy and super clean. The staff was very helpful and the owner is very understanding person and helpful. Near the crystal bay beach. A 5 minutes with motor cycle (Don't think of walking at night)

The main road is very dark at night but it's not the hotel problem at all. It's the problem of nusa penida island infrastructure.

Pleasant

property was ext to Crystal bay, less than ten min walk. Staff was nice and it was near a few other hotels all with their own warung.

Room was pretty dirty. we had clean sheets and it did appear that the bathroom toilet and sink had been cleaned. but the mirror was dirty, glass bathroom door was dirty, shower had multiple cobwebs which made us second guess if the shower had been cleaned properly. Floors didn’t feel clean, ledges on sides of room were very dusty and covered in cobwebs. Bathroom door is made of glass. If you’re stirring on the toilet you can make eye contact with someone lying in the bed. Pillows were comically high and hurt my neck, ended up sleeping with a sweatshirt as a pillow instead. Open ceiling bathroom so expect lizards and bugs in there!

Exceptional

The place was a little paradise! The cottage is placed in the jungle with a beautiful garden. The owner was super nice and accommodating. He even made us breakfast at 6pm as we couldn't eat it in the morning. The room was cleaned daily. Very close to the beach but far enough to feel like being in the jungle. Very unique location.

Nothing. I only had to presuade the owner to give us a second bedsheet which he didn't want saying that it's a double room. He finally did as we are not a couple. :) but that was not a biggie. Also one of the lamps did work but still not a problem. I loved it there.

Near to Crystal Beach.

The staff is friendly. Bungalow itself is beautiful and cozy, the yard is amazing. There is other beautiful resorts nearby aswell. Close to Crystal Beach. They offer breakfast in affordable price. Felt safe, liked the place.

The staff sold me a tour which was just horrible, nothing that we agreed about. They were not giving my money back but after long discussion I got 50% back. Their English is really bad, hard to communicate. There was few geckos in my room during the night, they make awful noise and I couldnt sleep. Receptionist just said that it's good to have them because they keep spiders away.. Also, the walls are thin like a paper, you hear all the talking etc very clearly to your room. Maybe it would have been great place to stay, but I left there with really bad feeling..

Puri Yalus

The quietness, and the location. It is quite literally 5mins from the beach by moped. The manager was very helpful, and arranged for us to go snorkling with manta rays. Breakfast was simple, but delicious.

Nothing wrong with the place. It is off the beaten track, and this adds to the charm of the location.

It was just great. Awsome calm location and very helpfull and friendly personal. Maybe the breakfast could be more complete but nothing to dislike.
