Gedong Nusa Huts

The whole quiet relaxed family vibe! The pics are real, we miss the place already. It’s placed in a quiet corner away from bigger roads, inside a low walled big garden super green well taken care of. The huts are very well built and clean with huge beds and good AC. We had the family hut, where the bathroom is outside, and shower under the stars. That shower needs some work and was hard to get warm, rest is good, not luxury. But the cleaning and the safe calm feeling makes up for it. My score would be a 9,7 for this. Breakfast is few choices but plenty, nice fruits and juices and tea and of course nasi! We rented Scooters directly with them for a great price. As well we had arranged our boat with pickup via them, for d’camel. Oh and the pool, always clean! We stayed a week! Definitely will go back next time.

One thing to improve other than mentioned shower, it would be nice if they would buy a normal espresso machine for good coffee, could even sell extra during day, just a thought. Although I walked (finally some steps in) to Chez nu man every day for good espresso and flat whites.

Putu and his Family is very careing and welcomeing! This place is like a little small paradise in the woods io lempongan. The service and kindness is 10 stars worth. The villas with outside shower and bathroom are beautiful, well build with love and experience. Its peacefull and calm, you can rent scooter at the villa to get to next cafe or beach! We would come again for shure! If you walk the next cafe or beach is like 15-20 minutes, i suggest either call taxi or take scooter!

Nothing to complain about!

This place is a hidden gem. Tucked away down a quiet, narrow street, the double doors open into an oasis of beautifully kept gardens and pool, and individual chalets ('huts'). My host was very welcoming, and offered transport to wherever I wanted to go. The twin room had a balcony looking to the gardens and pool, plenty of hanging space, complimentary tea/coffee/water, extremely comfortable beds and super-soft sheets. The bathroom was spacious, with beautiful floor tiles, decorative shower with open roof, and everything I needed. My hosts catered to my dietary requirements for breakfast - overlooking the pool, and took me back to the ferry in the afternoon. I felt like this was my own little piece of paradise. Dream Beach was a short walk away, and Mushroom Bay a short ride away. It felt like I was only minutes from beaches and restaurants, but far away from the business and busyness of the beach and restaurant areas.

The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The bed was super comfortable and the room and place was well decorated. The breakfast had a variety to choose from, made on the spot so always fresh. The bathroom was outdoors which was different and it was refreshing. The location was a bit further out so it was really quiet. It felt like luxury for such an affordable price. The AC was also really strong and so good because it gets really hot. The whole place is well kept and always clean which I loved.

My friend and I only stayed for one night so we didnt see many flaws.
