Great stay & lovely unique beach huts! Friendly staff!

Great staff, comfy bed, good facilities & food

No tv as advertised, nowhere to put clothes & no safe in the room. The room & bedding/towels could do with an upgrade, a mirror in the room would be useful.

Outstanding option

the staff are amazing, so welcoming and helpful. The rooms are spacious and well made up - warning the deluxe rooms have a lot of stairs if youre travelling with elderly or children that may be impacted. But the location is wonderful, inland but only 5 mins to the beach. In an area with great restaurants shops and spas. We loved it

I would probably get a room without stairs if we were to stay again....but this is not a dislike just a preference.

The staff were pleasant. The bathroom was spacious.

The location on booking.com shows it as on the beach. It is NOT on the beach. It's at least a 500M walk. The listing says sea view. There is no sea view. The listing says flat screen TV. There is NO TV. The listing says 28m2. The room is no bigger that 12 to 14m2. Very simple breakfast included. Overall I would classify this as more of a backpackers accomodation.

Will Return!

Location, although not on the beach as initially thought, was a quick 3-5min walk away. There are shops, cafes, restaurants & a spa just across the road. The staff were ALWAYS attentive & friendly & ready to assist with any requests or enquiries. Definitely value for money!

Staff was very friendly, helped us with renting a scooter and booking a private snorkeling tour. The cottage was nice, we had to get used to the open bathroom. The air conditioner was a bit noisy at night.

pleasant and memorable

This hotel is just minutes of walking distance towards dream beach, devil's tears and is surrounded with cafes and restaurants. it's actually a strategic place to be.

the fact that there wasnt any hose or bucket to use the toilet for hygiene purp-oses. the water pressure was so low to even bath and since its an open concept bathroom, It gets cold while waiting for the water to flow properly.

Terrible

Nice location.

There were rats everywhere. When we told the employees they didn’t care at all. Also no hot shower. When we told the employees they ‘fixed’ it but the day after we had the same problem. The people are very rude and don’t speak English that well. The ‘cabins’ were not sound proof at all. You could hear everything your neighbours did…. EVERYTHING! Really small pool, not like the picture. We didn’t have a hammock and table. Pictures do not represent the place you will stay at all.

Kubu is a wonderful place with a great staff! The bungalows are adorable, the beds are comfortable and the view is lovely! Evi is a pleasure to engage with and went above and beyond to help me!

would not stay again.

looked good in photos, lovely pool,

room is tiny. hard to move around. no storage. no seats. staff terrible at cleaning property (only 8 bungalows & it would be 5:30pm & I’d have to request a room clean, & when it was done, still no toilet paper, towel etc & they had left the mosquito net on the bed wide open, I spent next 20 mins killing mosquitoes). the shower is terrible. water just falls out. see photo. NO HOT WATER. Despite what the map says online, it is NOT on the beach. it is so far from anywhere. no public transport. birds and geckos nesting in roof. can hear everything from the other bungalows - EVERYTHING. dangerous stairs to downstairs external bathroom, especially at night. big gap in middle step. make sure you have clothes on because the entire neighbourhood can see you as you exit the bedroom to go to the bathroom. I left three days early without a refund.

Private house with a great view

Very convenient location, wonderful view from the room. A lot of private space to rest. Spacious bathroom with hot shower. Nice and helpful stuff. We also booked a snorkeling tour with them and had a private boat to explore the spots. Great price for such a place. Pick house nonverbal 4, to get to see the ocean from the balcony.

Everything was very nice, except the bedsheets. Unfortunately they didn’t change the pillow sheets so when we went to bed we could smell a scent of other people. So better check it in advance and ask them to change it.

Lovely place with hammocks

Loved the staff, very friendly, great location, very close to devil's tears, they helped sort out tour for us and the hammock was amazing

Good

Super nice staff! comfy bed, good breakfast, great pool! they also haves few books which is great! :) Location is perfect to explore both Nuda Lembongan & Nusa Ceningan, also walkable distance to sunset points! And nice Café (Classico) with good music around the corner, if you want to go somewhere else for a change :) we stayed a night longer than planned because we liked it so much :)

shower is cold and there’s not really enough pressure to get rid of the sand in your hair, the shower is also outside, so when it rains you get wet from the rain :/ we also had baby centipedes on our bed, a thing that happens when sleeping in nature, just be aware :)

We got a good deal. Very nice location close to Dream.Beach and many Warungs. It was clean and everything worked. Nice chill out at the ground floor incl hammock.

Unfortunately the restaurant of that Resort was under construction, but nevermind many Warungs are close by.

beautiful clean huts exceeded my expectations, the staff were so lovely and helpful. they have the best massage and spa across the road which I highly recommend! snorkelling I booked through the owner which was awesome as we were a group of 4 and got our own private boat. the beach is a 5 minute walk which is worth going to. I extended my stay as I just loved staying here, the bed is super comfy, it's very peaceful and quiet and a great location.

i booked the place for 2 nights , but i enjoyed the stay so much that i ended up staying there for a whole week. loved the price, the stuff was very friendly and helpful and location was also amazing. also, i would recommend visiting the spa.

Dream Beach Kubu, a place of your dreams

The inceredibely friendly host, Komang, was happy to help me with any questions or problems. He recommends good places to go visit, and wants to make your stay as good as possible. The location was also great. Close to the beach, incredible sunset views and good restaurants are all nearby. You can also hear the waves of the sea in the room (which is very cozy and perfect for a nice escape for couples, the shower was great).

Nothing much. I honestly like a social atmosphere when going to hostels, but the fact that this place is quiet and cill makes it very nice.

Since I got a bit delay on my flight,I contacted the property and Komang,He arranged everything for us i was surprised, boat,hotel tranafer from pier to the Hotel,room,all was excellent, great staff; yumi breakfast and a good restaurant with a wide menu,also we tried the spa and pool,my stay was great.

Un cauchemar! Très mal entretenu

Rien, hormis la proximité de la plage ( mais sur booking c’est indiqué que c’est en front de mer et ça ne l’est pas, même si ce n’est qu’à quelques minutes.

Tout: tout est sale, humide. Les draps et les serviettes sentaient mauvais. Les draps étaient tachés. Il pleuvait sur mon lit et la salle de bain était inondée. L’AC ne fonctionnait pas et était bloqué sur 20.

Geweldig

Het personeel was ongelofelijk vriendelijk. Ze hielpen met alles wat je nodig had en maakte in de ochtend het ontbijt klaar. De locatie was op loopafstand van het strand, alles is natuurlijk op loopafstand maar het strand Dreambeach is echt heel dichtbij. Het hutje is klein maar ongelofelijk knus. De badkamer is inderdaad open en semi buiten, ik vond dat een hele bijzondere ervaring!

Bettwanzen

Als wir eingecheckt haben waren ganz viele kleine Tiere und Flecken auf dem Bett. Wir haben uns beschwert und die Bettwäsche wurde gewechselt. Nachdem wir dann unter das Laken geschaut haben waren viele Bettwanzen auf der Matratze und in den Ritzen. Die Matratze und auch die Kissen hatten zudem Schimmelflecken. Die Flecken auf der Bettwäsche waren vermutlich Blutflecken, die nicht rausgingen. Wir haben sofort ausgecheckt. Die Mitarbeiter vor Ort, bei denen wir ausgecheckt haben, wirkten absolut nicht überrascht davon, dass es Bettwanzen gibt. Sie sagten wir sollen uns an Booking wenden und bekämen dann eine Rückerstattung. Der Kundenservice teilte uns mit dass alle Kontaktversuche ignoriert wurden, also kontaktierten wir die Unterkunft selbst. Man sagte uns dass kein Problem gemeldet wurde, auch nicht bei den Mitarbeitenden vor Ort und dass auch Booking sie nicht kontaktiert hat. Eine Rückerstattung lehnen sie ab, da sie das Zimmer für uns freigehalten haben. Wir haben für 6 Tage bezahlt und nach zwei Wochen immer noch keine Aussicht auf Rückerstattung. Im Nachhinein haben wir viele Bewertungen gelesen, die ebenfalls von Bettwanzen berichten. Ich kann jedem dringend davon abraten diese Unterkunft zu buchen!

Wunderschön

Die Bungalows waren toll und ganz besonders war das Badezimmer. Man hat alles da: Klimaanlage, kleiner Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher. Das Personal ist unheimlich freundlich und ich habe mich dort sehr wohlgefüllt. Auch die Lage ist perfekt und Fußläufig alles gut zu erreichen: 5min von Devils Tears, 15min vom Mushroom Bay, eine Menge verschieden Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.

Enkel bungalow 5 min promenad från Dream Beach

Lugnt och fridfullt. Helt ok frukost. Väldigt skön säng! Väldigt trevlig personal så tack till dem. 5 min promenad till Dream Beach och Devils Tears som var sevärt. Det var höga vågor på DB så inte badvänligt. Vi älskade Mushroom beach och badade där. Ca 15 min promenad dit.

Öppet badrum en trappa ner, risk för djur att ta sig in. Vi såg en orm utanför vår bungalow första dagen vilket gjorde oss lite rädda. Stället är slitet och skulle behöva lite kärlek. Ligger lite off. Men vi var där under lågsäsong och det spöregnade en kväll.
