Rustic beach escape

Was totally wowed by this place. From the moment we arrived we were so impressed. The view from the rustic cottage was amazing, Nick and the team were friendly and helpful and the whole island was exactly what we needed. For an active traveller this location was such a bargain. It is an easy walk along a boardwalk to the main beach area for drinks and dinner and an easy hike to mushroom bay. Nick organised us a snorkel tour and island tour and we wouldn't normally book through a hotel but they were great. Also, Rocky Fast Boats are definitely the go as they have a jetty and transport you to your accommodation, we saw some pretty adventurous beach dismounts from other ferries. The place next door has finished construction and is a lovely coffee/dinner place.

You really need to be an active traveller - the stairs will kill your knees!

Great locations and perfect host ! Will be back

Best location on the island ! Coconut beach and Lagos being next door but still nice and quiet. Pool was perfect just sit and stare out to the beach . Nick was a perfect host ! Made our stay even better and always had a smile and helpful . Rooms are older style but still comfortable and clean . The view comes with a few stairs but worth it :)

Sadly there is nothing to like about this place.

The accommodation is not as advertised. Not even basic facilities in Bungalow like tea & coffee making implements, no TV. No blankets, 2 very old threadbare sheets.

It was nice but I would only again if I knew there was good working aircon and the bathrooms were sorted out.

The pool and area around it was lovely and clean. Good location

The aircon was not good. Our rooms were so hot especially the kids room it felt like it was blowing warm air. Was hard to sleep. Our bathrooms while they looked nice smelt really bad. To the point where we didn’t even want to shower. The shower heads were not great either.

Best location and genuine hospitality

Song Lambung is in the perfect location, right on coconut beach. It’s a short paddle to playgrounds and a really safe swimming beach for families. I read a lot of reviews about the stairs. But honestly if you have good health and no knee issues the stairs are fine. Nick the manager is an absolute legend and couldn’t have done more to help our family with our stay. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s a clean place to stay. The swimming pool is excellent and clean. And Lago beach cafe is right next door if you fancy a coffee or bakery goods at Australian prices. We would 100% be back again in future

We absolutely loved our stay at Song Lambung Beach Huts! The location is unbeatable — right on the beach with stunning ocean views. A huge thank you to Nick and his amazing team for being so kind, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. Their hospitality made our trip unforgettable. The huts were clean but basic. The climb up is steep so please keep this in mind when booking but totally worth it for the incredible views. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a beautiful, quiet beachfront stay on Nusa Lembongan. The surf was at our front door absolutely will stay here again.

Loved the area such a fabulous location and if you surf it’s a paddle out or boat ride out to playgrounds which my sons

Location, location and the view! Hiring a scooter is a must for this location and island and be prepared to climb the stairs or ask for a lower level hut. 1 and 2 have the best view on the lower levels but still a good 15 step climb. Breakfast is simple but fresh and great to get you started for the day.

Bathrooms need a desperate renovation but are okay, power goes off at times.

Laid back, comfortable paradise!

Location is superb - right on the beach, quiet, lots of birds and trees and spectacular views of the beach and Mt Agung. Very friendly and helpful staff - Nick gave us great insight to Balinese culture as there was a very large ceremony during the time we stsyed. Perfectly located swimming pool looking right onto the beach.

It’s a great place to keep fit but the stairs to the villas are quite steep.

Location was incredible. Best location we could have picked – right next to the shore walk to town/lots of restaurants; close to the pontoon bar. The owner let us rent his moped for our entire stay.

The friendly staff , location and the peace and quiet

Shower water only stayed hot for a few minutes, no jug provided to make own coffee or tea. On our second night had dinner at the restaurant on site and an older lady was rude and abrupt, waited over an hour for food and we were the only occupancy of the restaurant, she stated she was on her own, we then paid at the end of the meal but because we were not given a receipt was then charged again for that meal when finalising bill at end of stay. Not happy with out come.

Location Location!

Best location on the island for surfing playgrounds! As a family with young kids this was the best place for my wife and I to get into the surf without having to travel. The connected huts were also great as our kids could stay in their own room. This place is great value for money compared to other options close to playgrounds but expect a more basic style of accom.

Bathrooms felt dirty with no water pressure, breakfast was basic and beds weren't very comfortable. There was also construction next door but we knew this and once it's done it'll be great to have a restaurant/cafe right there.

Bearing in mind this is a 3star villa it was fantastic and we enjoyed our stay. There is some building going on next door which did get annoying at times but it’s nearly finished. We will be back for sure.

Budget accommodation

We stayed here mostly for the location. The hotel is tucked away, high above the cosy shaded beach. Good surf, great view from our balcony and very yummy banana pancakes. The villa is very basic but comfortable.

There were a lot of steep stairs to reach our cabin. We managed ok (we're in our 60's) but it's not for everyone. The shower tap fell off and could not be repaired, so we had to manage by holding it on. The linen is worn out and towels were grey.

It’s in the best location on the island in my opinion! Nice walking distance to lots of restaurants and local warung. We stayed in villa 9- best view of the surf breaks!

The bathroom was a little outdated and shower handle kept falling off - not bad though for the price we paid. Air con wasn’t the best - but they did provide a tan which was good. Also the internet was pretty poor.
