The guest house is lovely and very comfortable. It's in a quiet neighborhood - close to the River Ness. It was a 15-20 minute walk to everything in Centre City. The breakfasts were excellent.

I would stay again and would recommend the staff but would be better prepared for type of lodging.

The manager, Richard, went above and beyond to accommodate us, as we missed one day and night due to flight cancellations, and when we arrived too late in the day and without transportation to any place to eat, provided us with cold plates of fruit and cheese and meats. The breakfast room and food were excellent. He was helpful in getting us a car on the morning of our departure.

The shower was tiny and difficult to wash long hair. At booking I didn't understand that we were booking a house in a neighborhood and thought it more of a small hotel. Had I understood the lodging better it would have been helpful and set expectations appropriately.

Richard the owner was an exceptional host. The guest house is lovely with an inviting breakfast area and sitting room. There is a stunning view of their gardens from the breakfast room. Breakfast had hot and cold food and was generous. Richard helped with recommendations and taxi reservation. He and his wife provide superb customer service.

Exceptional

I had a wonderful stay at St. Ann's! The guesthouse has a cozy and homely feel, and the room was impeccably clean and neat. The breakfast offered a delightful variety. Richard, the host, was very friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. The location was great, just a ten-minute walk to the city center. All in all, it was a delightful experience, and I look forward to returning in the future.

SUPER friendly host, great breakfast comfortable and clean room in quiet safe feeling, neighborhood about a 10-15 minute walk to town. Host had great advise for us for our days of sightseeing both locally and further day trips!

there was a very narrow check in window -- so had a bit of a panic attack because we were running behind schedule. I tried to message host (and he said he responded) but for whatever reason, I never received the message. I was relieved that when i arrived he was waiting for me and it was not a problem at all. This was partially my fault as well as by time I looked at the app, we were already late. Since this stop was mid traveling, sometimes arrival time can be a little hard to arrange in advance. In the end it all worked out fine but just be aware of this to not do what I did!

Gem of a place with a fantastic host

Lovely guest house with a great host

We had a lovely time staying at St Ann's. The place was very clean, quiet and in a great location, very near the the centre. Richard was the perfect host and was very helpful in suggesting where to go and what to do in the area. The breakfast was pentiful and really very nice. Absolutely no complaints, would definitely stay there again.
