Excellent Hotel Near the Town Centre

We were lucky to receive an upgrade on our room . We had a 4 poster king-sized bed with large ensuite, separate bath and shower. The staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. The hotel is a short walk from the centre of Inverness but still feels quiet and "out of the way." The food was excellent both at breakfast and evenings. The bar serves both guests and public making it quite lively at times, but we never had a problem getting a seat. Despite this, the rooms are very well soundproofed and were never disturbed.

The room was a bit too warm in the morning. But I am sure we could have adjusted the thermostat on the radiators.

Overall, a nice stay. We were just a stop gap for dance rehearsals so we had dinner in our room.

We received a complimentary upgrade which was a nice surprise however we stayed in room 8 which was quite small being in the attic space. The bed was really compfy. The bathroom was very clean, the shower pressure was amazing and lots of hot water however I am only 5ft 4in and the shower was way to small to shower properly. I couldn't wash my hair as every time I raised and bent my arms my elbows hit the shower door. The room was really cold when we arrived back from having a full day of Dance rehearsals however we just turned up the radiator and it soon heated up.

Stunning property, pleasant buzz around the restaurant area when checking in. Immaculate cosy room, very chic. Extra comfortable bed, pillows and duvet! Immaculately cleaned, welcoming and some nice touches of bottled water, etc.

The shower looked so inviting but unfortunately didn’t function well. A lot of excess water made the bathroom floor slippery. Shower head didn’t function well, appeared to be leaking.

The Heathmount is a joy to stay in

Beautiful room, comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. Breakfast is delicious and great value for money. The staff are amazing. We try and stay here once a month, cannot recommend it enough. We love it.

Great alternative to a big chain hotel

Great location to walk to the city centre. Very comfortable and a fabulous breakfast.

The pub was very busy and we were worried about noise but it was very well soundproofed.

Command spacious

Lovely fresh, good quality bedding, although the pillows were not very comfortable. The big bath in the Lovely bathroom was a luxurious touch. There was also a large shower, all very nice. The towels were clean and a good size too. There was plenty of choice on the hospitality tray..All in all, a nice room, I enjoyed it.

We stay here when we can. The staff are friendly, the food was fantastic and located is perfect. The beds are always comfortable too. We've stayed in nearly all the rooms!

Lovely place

Beautiful room ( room 8) even if not the biggest. Comfy bed. Lovely bar and restaurant. Breakfast was delicious and lots of choice. Boy serving breakfast on 23rd Nov so lovely and accommodating. Definitely stay again. Handy location.

Affordable, clean hotel room

The room was a great size. Clean space. They provided tea, bottled water, and bottled sparkling water. Easy check-in and check-out process. The hotel was a 10 minute walk to the central area of Inverness, but had a few bakeries across the street + the hotel restaurant although I did not try the latter.

The staff leaves the premises after a certain time in the night. Unfortunately, there was an unusually loud couple in the room next to us, but no staff to call to notify. They were shouting past 12am and sounded like they were moving / throwing furniture. It was disruptive for sleeping.

Decent but likely wouldn’t stay again

Good location, about a 10 min walk to the centre of Inverness. The staff are sooo friendly and helpful! And free parking which was a bonus.

Stuffy, room had a weird smell, and the shower had no hot water. My husband got bitten by what we think was a bed bug on the forehead. The top floor was so small that my husband couldn’t stand in the room because his head hit the ceiling. The blinds in the bathroom were taped up so there wasn’t a lot of privacy. To top it off there is no elevator.

Perfect stay after a long week!

Every member of staff was courteous and helpful and nothing was too much to ask. The attic bedroom was particularly comfortable and had everything we needed. We had just finished walking the Great Glen Way and this hotel was a perfect ending, thank you.

Location is ideal - short walk into town on lovely streets. Easy secure parking onsite. Bed comfortable, modern bathroom and good quality linen.

All the stairs - an offer of assistance with luggage would have been a nice touch.

A great location, only 15 min walk to town. The room was comfortable and the restaurant and bar were nice. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was great.

Could not open the window in the bathroom so it got a bit steamy. The top floor rooms have a sloped ceiling so I am glad I wasn't any taller. Other than that, very comfy.

Comfortable bed, large bathroom. Downhill to the old town (10-15 mins) which means uphill to get back. The place is also a bar, lots of locals at the bar and the one across the street. Although it was a bar, we did not here the hear the noise.

Well placed to walk into Inverness

Our room was 'up in the rafters' but very nice indeed. I had to watch the sloping sides been 6 foot but minor issue. The room itself was spacious and very comfortable. Excellent breakfast - didn't eat here in the evening. Lovely pub - good outside areas if you get the weather. Only a 5 to 10 minute stroll into Inverness centre or to the Castle. Staff very good.

Good experience overall

The room although a small attic space was well presented and equipped and the ensuite modern and everything worked. Access on foot to the town centre was about a ten minute walk which we appreciated after a long drive. The ability to be able to park at the hotel in a dedicated carpark also appreciated. Our first visit to Inverness left a good impression!

As we were in the attic the space was a little awkward at the edges we had to watch our heads! Again because the ensuite was small and angular there was no space to rest anything apart from the windowsill! Breakfast was an additional payment either from a one price per person for whole selection or an individually priced by item menu. We opted for the latter and it was fine for our needs but makes the overall cost expensive for a stay here. May look for different options if I was to be in the City again.

Really great staff & location. The room was very comfortable and private. The hotel bar was a busy hub but we did not hear any noise at all
