Convenient, comfortable, cosy. Great for the money.

I really liked the location, just a short walk from the heart of the city, close to the river and the castle. I liked cosy reception area and the general decor. The facilities are excellent, the staff very helpful. Bed was comfy and a towel provided. Great showers.

I hadn’t realised the private rooms are in a separate annex a few metres from the main hostel. It somehow felt detached as there is no shared lounge area in the annex though thee is a very good shared kitchen and shower facilities. I also hated having a squirt of air freshener pumped out every time I used the bathroom ..

The hostel was spotless and great area to stay near the castle.

Very comfy beds, very clean. Good enough for a short stay.

They put me in a different building than the main one, which does not have the social part. Did not have a real communal area, just the dorm room. Staff was not very nice.

Awesome place. 9/10 rating from me.

I love the neatness of the place, it's proximity to the city centre, and how warm and welcoming the staff were. I must admit I was impressed with the neatness of the bathrooms. I don't mean to exaggerate but the bathroom and toilet of Bazpackers is topnotch and extremely clean. I can't wait to be back soon.

The staff should please tell guests to keep the rooms tidy when they're staying over. I met the room in good condition when I checked in, but new guests checked in and dropped their bags all over the rooms without considering the fact that they're sharing space with other people. People should learn to behave with decorum in public spaces.

Great hostel, very clean with modern rooms and facilities.

Great location and easy to check in. Shared bathroom for our room was modern and very clean. The room was spotless. This is the second time I’ve stayed here (I was in the apartment before) and I will definitely be back.

Quaint hostel close to city centre

Good location, not far from city centre. View from the room window was beautiful.

We were in the annexe which was a bit removed from the main hostel. It only had two bathrooms that were not separated from the toilet so if the hostel was busy the lack of bathrooms would be a struggle.

Great little hostel in the centre of Inverness

Great location, extremely clean facilities, lovely outdoor area, well equipped kitchen, and helpful staff. Just a short walk from some beautiful parks along the river.

Quite a small hostel, I could see it feeling quite crowded if a lot of people are staying. It was quite expensive but very nice for a hostel.

Great value and nice hostel!

The bathrooms and kitchen area were all clean and looked new. They had a lovely outside garden/sitting area with a nice view. The rooms were clean and beds were comfy. They had a free luggage storage area which was so nice to utilize.

It was a longer walk from the bus/train station that I would have liked but you can't help that

Quiet, clean, comfortable but overpriced!

This was a nice, quiet, clean hostel with very comfortable beds and really lovely bathrooms.

The price for one night was incredibly high for sharing a room with 3 other people. I wouldn’t pay it again, and only did so because it was last-minute and I needed a place to stay. Also, my room was in a part of the building that didn’t have access to the lounge and so there wasn’t a social vibe at all.

Bed was comfortable, USB points near bed. Bathroom was very clean. Nice common areas. Enough space in the rooms for bags.

Quite expensive for a hostel but I guess just supply and demand in Inverness. One shower/bathroom for the whole floor?? I never had to wait long but that could be very annoying. No lift, only stairs.

First time at Backpackers

Everything was amazing! It was my first time at a backpackers and it was such a good vibe all around from the staff to the facilities. The bed was super comfy and I chose to stay there because it was a super quick walk to where I needed to be picked up for the tours I went on. Amazing place, great view from the outdoor chill space too. The other backpackers were super friendly also and I felt safe the entire time. I highly recommend it! 😎

Great Stay and Brilliant Facilities

It was very clean and tidy...facilities were immaculate and in very good condition. The free coffee/drinks and area to relax either inside or out in the garden was great. It felt very safe and secure. Perfect location for touring around Inverness. Staff were super friendly and couldn't do enough for you.

The idiot who loudly banged on a door, over and over at 2:30 am, having no doubt both had too much to drink and having lost his door fob. Not at all a reflection on the hostal who went put of their way to show us how to use the doors and what the codes were for getting in after hours!

First hostel trip! I’d love to return!

This was my first time solo tripping, I booked this hostel and I’m so glad I did! You hear a lot of horror story’s about hostels but do not fear this place, if it’s your first time like me. The entire hostel is clean. The staff.. amazing! I stayed in the female dorm and had no issues at all. Quiet. Very homely feel and I felt so safe. I socialised with fantastic people during my stay and remaining friends with some after leaving. I’ll never forget my first solo trip, thank you Bazpackers! Excellent location also. I suffer from a bad back but surprisingly not too bad for me. If you’re a sociable person and don’t mind paying a little extra for comfort and safety.. BOOK!!!

There were only USB ports in each bed, I use a Type C. Although made this work fine, as there are plugs near the lockers in each room. Lesson learnt and will take a different charging cable next time.

Location is great, staff is very helpful and friendly, and it's overall quite nice for a hostel. Kitchen facilities are a great plus.

If you're staying in the annex, your room might be facing a busy street so it will be noisy - not a fault, but a function of the location. The bathrooms could use a bit more space to put your stuff on.

Great location, fantastic facilities, everyone working there was super friendly, the privacy curtains in the group room were a fantastic addition I wish more places used. Overall this location was incredible - one of, if not the, best hostels I've ever stayed in.

Fabulous hostel even for a quick overnight!

in the very centre of Inverness and wow were we surprised with this hostel, grabed one of the last private room this weekend, everything was so practical and room is better than in some of the hotels we stayed in! exceptionally clean (as is shared kitchenette separate from rest of the dorm rooms) and shared bathrooms in annex are crazy modern. it's been decades since I was in a hostel but boy this stay was great, I now wish we had more evening /morning time but we were heading further west early morning. lovely staff at the reception, hostel is energy savy and have little notes/stickers around. wow! really really fine place to stay if you are on the budget north of Scotland :) definitely coming back there

Clean and modern.

Cleanest hostel I have been in. The bunks had privacy, lockers were in the room and outlets were conveniently located.

I was in the annex and the door leading to the hostel from the street doesn't lock. I was surprised at this. There were locks to get into the main annex area and rooms.

Absolute recommodation!

The rooms were clean as well as the bathrooms. There was a cute little garden where you could chill and catch some sun :) overall very comfortable and uncomplicated stay :)
