Good value for money in an expensive city, though small the room was fine with everything I needed for a couple of nights. Access to a kitchen was better than a hotel, and the house is generally in good conditions. The living room is nice.

Location is good, supermarket right round the corner and easy walk to city centre and station. Kitchen is ample and well appointed, it’s handy to be able to do laundry (if the machine isn’t in use by someone else)
My room was No 3. It faces the very busy road (think heavy lorries passing by from early in the morning). I could only sleep with earl plugs. The heater in the bathroom could not be turned off and it was one of the rare warm days in Inverness. I got in touch with the owners and they confirmed it could not be turned off and could otherwise not be less interested in fixing this. The shower had no pressure and was moldy. I tried to get in touch with the owners to arrange early checkin, but my messages were simply ignored. After I left they tried to call me. I couldn’t take the call and came back to them by WhatsApp. I was then ignored again.
