I really liked the location. It was only a few minutes walk from the centre, restaurants, and a grocery store. It had a private parking which was perfect
I found it really difficult to open one window. The other one was permanently locked. I don't think it's acceptable or healthy not to have this option. The carpet wasn't clean and the tv remote was not working most of the time

Use of the kitchen for cooking
Sitting room TV didn't work, probably remotes had no batteries. FYI. TV in room was too high and small for height.

Staff were excellent, invisible like.
I liked it, it was clean and efficient.

Easy check-in and check-out, fully virtual and hi-tech entry codes for the front door and bedroom. Also, just about every possible amenity provided, including full service kitchen, a fridge/freezer per room and excellent insulation - almost did not need the blanket even though it was mid-December. Also, the level of cleanliness was fantastic - well done to the responsible people. Location close to the city centre of Inverness is much appreciated without having to pay massive prices.
The bathroom was slightly dated in places and the shower tray would not be comfortable for anyone that is taller/heavier than normal. Also, the front door did not close particularly well and one needed to make sure to let it shut quite hard, otherwise it remained open.

Location great, quiet yet close to town and supermarkets. Super and well equipped kitchen. Nice door entry system that works every time. Very useful private carpark. Good size bathroom
At that price can't complain about anything really

The property meet the expectations. It was vanilla. It met the expectations, it was clean and there was a bed and bathroom available. Tea and a refrigerator in the room was a nice touch.
There was no staff at the factility. Yes, you let yourself in but, you had to call if there were problems. I would at least like to have seen someone to pickup the room on a daily basis or at least staff to check in with its customers. Like I said, it was vanilla. Tastes good, but nothing above and beyond what was expected.

Good facilities, including a decent electric shower, microwave, TV with good signal for all terrestrial channels. Comfortable armchair and bed.
Near a busy road where noise of traffic leaked through even with windows closed (though not a problem in early hours). Keypad for room door could be a bit unresponsive to activate (though that may be a problem with my fingers, as happens with others).

Very nice, close to where I had to be, and nicely cosy!
Also lovely to have access to a kitchen
Noise was quite audible through walls/window.
:-)....thought of offering a redesign of bedroom (!), as in having everything turned around to be directly opposite, ie bed/chair/bedside cabinet against bigger wall and fridge/chest of drawers opposite on smaller wall. Just a suggestion!!! May have allowed for a less secluded/more space 'feel', thus making bedroom feel a little larger...

Easy self managed access and good location. All that is needed without the unnecessary trimmings, but most importantly for this short stay it was not overpriced in the way that most accommodation in Inverness is these days.
Nothing to not like here.

The room was very spacious. We had a car with us so the parking facility helped. Check-in and check-out was very easy.
Nothing in particular but room felt extremely cold sometimes.

Stayed Saturday/Sunday so no Breakfast although it's a 5 minute walk into town where there's no shortage of options inc. teh usual Wetherspoons open earlyish. It's key coded access code provide prior to arrival so no issues with check in times and there's a small car park for guests behind the hotel. Met the owner in the morning and she was fine with leaving the car there until late afternoon the next day. My room was quite small with single bed which I didn't mind as I was only there for 1 night and only looking for somewhere clean and good value. There's a proper half size fridge freezer in the room.
Took my PC to catch up on work but room I had being quite small didn't have desk and desk-chair. Maybe not a bad thing though.

Absolutely nothing, this place gets perfect marks from us.

Very handy for access to the city centre. Convenient and easy (if a little soulless) check-in process. The room was perfect. Spotlessly clean, well equipped and ideal for a short stop off. In reality, it would have been just as perfect for a longer based stay. The term 'value for money' is overused but very apt for Winmar
Hardly anything. The single bed wasn't the most comfortable but perfectly adequate and a couple of whiskeys helped the sleep. Absolutely no issues with the outside noise.

The room view
To much to list really. The stairs the twin room not the double that was booked. The food was bland except for desert because even after 2 requests it never appeared.

Basic accommodation within easy walk of centre & transport links. Amazing shared kitchen & sitting room
Stayed 4 nights & no complaints. Bathroom could maybe do with a wee update. Couple of bugs on floor due to damp

Clean, comfortable and spacious room, two chairs and a fridge, a bit of traffic noise, but not outrageous. Urquhart's family restaurant nearby is worth a visit, really good food.

Location was great, very easy access to the town centre and along the river. We liked the Victorian Market and a great food hall there. Our room was ready so we were able to put our luggage into the room an hour early. There was a fridge in the bedroom which was v handy. The main shared kitchen was so so clean and well equipped even had a washing machine and tumble dryer. Really good if you are self catering. We ate in a hotel along the river in the 'piano bar', which did wonderful tempura battered fish and real chips.

Price was right, for a 1 night stay it was perfect. There’s everything you need in the room including a small fridge and a kitchen you can use.
Self catering so you can arrive anytime unlike a lot of B&B.
No breakfast but there’s an Aldi and Tesco a short walk away
8.0 / 10.0
Winmar is a lovely self catering hotel on the outskirts of Inverness.
The room is clean and comfortable. There is a communal kitchen for cooking, washing and ironing clothes. There is also a fridge and tea/coffee in each room.
Aldi is around the corner and there are a number of restaurants down by the river.
Planned to wash clothes but needed coins. We only had notes and cards.

We had a very spacious room with a modern and very clean private bathroom. Also the bed was very big - the biggest we had on our UK trip. There is also a big common kitchen where you can cook meals if that's what you prefer.
The house is on a busier road so if you're bothered by traffic, bring earplugs for the night.

Ensuite with very good shower. Fridge in room and well-equipped kitchen downstairs (although unused as I couldn't eat anything prior to hospital appointment). Tea-making facilities provided in room. Bookshelf in hallway appreciated. Room problem (leak in ceiling) dealt with pleasantly and quickly. Early check-in made possible. Blackout blinds on bedroom window. Easy to find, close to river and not far from town centre.
Unfortunate, but ceiling leak was right above door to ensuite so I got dripped on a lot. Bucket with towels was provided to catch the drips silently but time taken to deal with the problem meant I had to delay taking medication (no one's fault, just unfortunate). A bit out of my budget (but considerably less than some other accommodation in Inverness).

Good shower , has a fridge on the bedroom and we can use the kitchen, to do the laundry you need some coins
Hard to park on the streets
